Great property with very average service quality”
Overpriced. Average service quality by average staff members. They seem a bit arrogant. Food/dinning options are very limited yet horrendously overpriced. SPA is of very average quality as well. Access road doesn't matches with the standard of the resort and makes it more remote than it already is.
a value of money hotel cheap and good”
electricity and management problem at the hotel, when chec in the lobby was dark no electricity. when check out unable to settle by credit card, the hotel seems facing the management problem
It was a comfortable stay”
It was relaxing. Nice and quiet with beautiful surrounding views
Great but run down establish lack of maintainance ”
Could have been much better, not up to expectation, running water had sands, pool water was not clean, Casino was closed, other restaurants were not functional.
The Fulbari Resort Casino, Golf & SPA”
Pls. cancel your reservations from this hotel if any.The staff is non responsive, there is no water in the rooms, the lifts do not work, food is not provided if you have missed the time, telephone does not work and you have to come down to the reception if you need anything and that after paying for a double room. Worst of all when you complain, staff says to please complain to your agent so that the owner comes to know of the condition of this hotel.
extremely bad experience”
i stayed here for one night. it seemed like everything there is a showpiece. being a 5 star, wifi doesn't reach the rooms. they had a lawn tennis ground, but said it isn't available to play. snooker table was there, but no sticks. toilet near the reception couldn't be worse. not at all maintained. staff was unfriendly and unresponsive. casino with 3 tables which had no blackjack. i asked for hot chocolate, they said we don't have milk. unbelievable. there were 0 facilities.
the views were stupendous of the canyon and the anapurna range especially fish tail mountain. nice pool and not far from the lake and shops.
Great location if somewhat remote from town ”
Old poorly maintained hotel. Horribly overpriced food. Badly in need of routine maintenance and a renovation - golf course, lake & other amenities not maintained. False photographs placed in local adverts as the casino does not look glitsy and glamorous. Courteous obliging staff.
Great Hotel - fabulous view of the Annapurna Rang”
A must stay hotel while visiting Pokhara. The food and service is good and the view of the Anapurna Range is breath taking
"horrible service, and very bad food"”
this hotel should be maximum 1 star not more. is it possible to pay for a five star hotel where there is no A/C.... it was really horrible....
bad location or hotel to stay in”
it is a very bad hotel no Maintenance done , no lights in the lobby and rooms are not clean at all but the food is good quality.
Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
it was really splendid. the serenity is unforgattable. the only problem i felt was "trnsprotation between hotel and cty center at night"
Relax away from touristy area”
fulbari is about 20 minutes from the main tourist area of pokhara, but still very accessible to all the main attractions. service was excellant, room comfortable and food was not too bad. casino is small (separate table game area upstairs and machines down stairs - unrelated businesses???). pool was being renovated, should be ready very soon. building and grounds could use a bit more attention, but overall, very nice atmosphere and place to get away. when you want more crowds, catch cab into lakeside area for restaurants, shops and local culture. #1 reason to go to fulbari ... no barking dogs, motorcycle horns or bells ringing ... anyone staying in town will understand that.
Not at all what we were expecting”
I was extremely disappointed in the hotel. It was in a remote location with nothing near by. You had to book a taxi to take you to Pokhara town. The hotel is extremely run down and was probably a 5 star hotel but has deterioted. The spa was no where to be seen. The resort was so quiet and extremely boring. I would not stay there again. The only pro about this hotel was that there was a great view
"Great location but small rooms" ”
Good hotel, all are very nice but room service is very bad not like five star hotel. all stuff should be more professional.
Close to the worst hotel we have ever stayed at”
The rooms were filthy and so musty that most of us had respiratory problems. Staff was unable to accommodate any requests. Food was par at best. The grounds were deteriorating or completely gone to rot.
The only boutique hotel in Kathmandu.”
Very friendly staff. Design that is attentive. The lobby is like a home just relaxing. Organic coffee is delicious Garden Restaurant. The hotel is located near the Kathmandu Guest House in Thamel. Is useful because most things are aligned in front of supermarkets. However, since the hotel is very popular, so it is recommended to book three months ago.
Surprisingly nice hotel!”
Fulburi is a surprisingly nice hotel: Nicely decorated room, good service, friendly staff, and a magnificent view of the "Fish Tail" from the balcony. The only problem with this hotel is it is too, too far from the lake, and local transportation is not only inconvenient but also quite costly.
One of the worst properties, I have every stayed”
The rooms are not maintained at all with pathetic service. The phone did not work and the interior is way below average. I dont think this property cannot be categorized above a 2 star. The charges for food are also extremely high, as well as rooms.
