King suite with ocean view”
Exceptional. Such a beautiful view. Friendly and really helpful staff. It's a vintage hotel so don't expect a gym, spa or swimming pool. We knew it but we went there for the unique view, definitely we'll return. Thank you.

Spacious Older Hotel”
While the rooms are a little tired, this hotel has plenty of room and the staff were lovely. They arranged a fridge for my medications and when a neighbouring room was noisy they changed us to a higher floor with a great view. Hop-on-hop-off bus stop very close by and a shopping centre within walking distance.

Great location”
The hotel itself is very old, but in a great location. There is no self park so you could be slapped with a 40$ valet fee if you wish for the hotel to park your car. The staff and the hotel are very helpful. We couldn't carry our bags to the room since there where staircases involved to the lift. The valet in the front assisted us in the process. We chose the suite which is quite large in space, but the room smelled old and carpets were sticky. The interior looks like it needs to be refurnished. On the positive side the staff is excellent and they do an amazing job of making your stay memorable.

Unbearable staff noise and hotel noise ”
I stayed on the 7th floor and it sounded as if there was a housecleaning staff meeting in stereo right outside my door in the hallway. For hours. It also sounded like they were dropping dumpsters off the roof, possibly there was a laundry shoot next to my room? Even if that were the case it sounded as if they through dumpsters down the laundry shoot. My wife and I were miserable. Also, the rooms were small and amenities basic at best, so value for money was lacking. Have a drink downstairs and stay somewhere else. If I could’ve asked for my money back I would have.

We loved our very short stay at the Georgian Hotel. We got room 801 which had a great ocean view. The hotel also gave us complementary welcome drinks at the bar. The room was spacious and well decorated (although old style, it was very very nice). As we were on our honeymoon, it was a very romantic place to be. We were well looked after and really enjoyed our stay. We hope to visit Santa Monica again and would definitely stay at the Georgian Hotel again...hopefully we can stay in Room 801. We both loved this hotel. Thank you for making our honeymoon very special.

Great location, art decor hotel, older style!”
The Georgian hotel was on the Promenade opposite the Santa Monica Pier. A great location just a few minutes walk from the shopping mall and restaurants. This is an older style hotel, clean and comfortable. The walls are very thin, we had a problem with the next door neighbours talking and laughing very loud until 3am. However after phoning reception security sorted this out promptly. In hindsight I should’ve complained earlier. Our second night was very quiet. The bedroom and living area was generous in size. The bathroom was very small and you could hear from there the people’s conversation next door very clearly. We couldn’t use the fridge at all as we couldn’t open it. No one arrived to fixed this. Personally I didn’t mind the older style suite and particularly liked the location. We didn’t have a view which made it seem very expensive. Overall it was fine for a one or two night visit.

Perfect location ”
We were three friends staying in the king bed suite and couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Firstly it’s perfect location across from the beach and 5min walk to Santa Monica Pier was very convenient. Only 2mins walk to the main shopping precinct. The staff were very friendly and the room was always immaculate. Tge king suite is huge with plenty of room to spread out. The hotel is cute will loads of old world charm and the unique coloured facade means you can always easily locate your hotel!

Convienienly located near the Pier and shops”
The Georgian is conveniently located down the road from the Santa Monica Pier. However, staff at the Georgian gave us wrong information about the closing times of the pier and we arrived there just after it had closed which meant that we had to miss out on the amusement park. Other than that, the room was comfortable though not overly large and the bathroom was a little small. You are definitely paying for the location!

Great liittle hotel in a fantastic location”
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, I had an ocean front room which was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Perfect location on Ocean Ave with all the amenities of Santa Monica in walking distance. Highly recommended if you want a smaller hotel close to the beach

Great location and nice rooms”
Comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent location opposite the beach and close to Santa Monica pier. Shopping mall is 2 blocks back and there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. I did not need to leave Santa Monica. The hotel itself is quaint with old fashion lifts and art deco bathrooms on the small side. The staff were very helpful and the verandah bar/cafe was an excellent place to wind down at the end of the day. I would definitely stay there again.
