The bed was heavenly”
The bed was so comfy I could have stayed there forever. I was there for the night and just wanted to relax and sleep. Unfortunately, Lil Jon was at the bar next to the hotel and everybody else was there to party. It was super annoying to be up until 3:30 am listening to my neighbors listening to music, talk loudly and have relations. That had nothing to do with the hotel, though, which I recognize. The room was awesome. The bed was amazing. I had late check out at 1 pm which was super helpful because I needed to nap after my neighbors wild night. Great service and super accomodating.

I came in from Virginia for Father’s Day weekend from the time of my check in till my check out was beyond amazing… very grate front desk staff and the HOUSEKEEPING/keepers are the best hands down… wtr bars food and pool was beyond luxurious my and my boyfriend really enjoyed our selfs thanks so much

The Godfrey experience!! ”
The first thing that stood out to me about the Godfrey, would have to be the daily offer of water!! The importance to keep hydrated in a hot area is crucial. From check in to check out, they ensure the stay is pleasant and that all is well with those accessing the facility! Staff was very kind and helpful, everyone from maintenance, to the valet service, and the front desk staff were all pleasant. By far the Godfrey has been one of my favourite places to stay, and I have already planned a trip to return! And the view is breathtaking!

We enjoyed this hotel. It was definitely decent for the price. We got the water view and watched dolphins from the room balcony. We also went of the dock early in the morning and saw a sting-ray it was super awesome. This location is also convenient to The University of Tampa as well as the mall. There are also pretty awesome restaurants near by as well. We will stay again for sure. It is a bit old though but still nice.

The shuttle service can not be highlighted more. We were hesitant to stay full trip here in Tampa, now we know, couldn't recommend hotel high enough. This is the perfect mix of relaxing venue, view and lounge atmosphere with excellent service to visit the rest of Tampa.

Nice redo of old motel”
I think the two week spots for the hotel are the restaurant which was fair but not great. The second are the bathrooms. The shower specifically struggled with hot water and the drain didn't drain all that well. You had to stand in dirty water. The shower just looks like it's been there since the beginning. The pool area is lovely! I would return. It's a good rate for a place to lay your head.
