Spacious residence with complete amenities ”
Grand Suite Residence is the perfect place for a small family on vacation. It reminds me of a Korean home in the city. The place is quite spacious with it's own living room, dining area, full kitchen, laundry. There are 2 bedrooms with one Master bedroom and another single room. It is located in a tranquil area yet right infront of the Grand Hilton hotel. There is also a parking area for guests. The staff are courteous and fast to respond to concerns and informs guests in writing when these are addressed. Overall a very good experience! I had used this for a business trip but in the future I highly recommend to stay during a vacation with family or friends. For dining, dine in the Grand Hilton if you don't want to cook! Wifi is available but you need to purchase.
me with 4 friends stayed at grand suite residence for four days and 3 nights in a 3 bedroom suite. the location is good, just 'bout 15 minutes away from the city center through taxi. local shops and restaurants were just a few steps away. the only negative with this hotel was the unavailability of internet access.
Quiet Location but the Suite has ample space ”
AS we can use the facilities of Hilton Hotel, of which we find it very good and enjoyable. The Suite has ample space than a hotel room. Given us a feeling that we are at home as the apartment has a kitchen with oven, dish washer, washing & drying machines. However, the Suite Residence is located in the mid-level, although Hilton Hotel has a shuttle bus to go down town. the schedule is not easy to catch as it runs every hour only. I would suggest the frequency of the Shuttle bus be run at least every half an hour or allow us to book the shuttle bus as when needed. Since it just took only 5 minutes for the bus to go down town. I would also suggest that the Suite Residence to provide a free internet service to the tenants as it is very inconvenient for us without such service. Also the complimentary 2 bottles of drinking water should not be available only on the day of arrival. It should provide 3 bottles of drinking water to us on each day of our staying. As the Suite Residence is located in the non-tourist area which allow us to experience the very local people style of living. We can enjoy also the local pricing on eating. There is a lot of Korean restaruants in the down town. We enjoyed them very much. It is also taken not so long to reach various visiting points. Around 15 to 20 minutes taxi ride can bring you to the tourist points. It needs to spend more on transportation.
Fantastic hotel with large rooms and nice location”
i would definitely come back to this hotel the next time i'm in seoul. very accessible by taxi and by subway line only a 10 minute walk away. the rooms are large, they have 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom suite at very affordable rate. we cook our own food in the kitchen, and you can tumble and dry your clothes in the washing machine provided. the kitchen has plates, utensils, kettle, refrigerator, gas range, and cookwares. the lcd tv is big, and there are 3 or more aircons in each suite room. the beds are clean and the view is amazing. the complimentary shuttle ride is a good addition to their excellent service.
friendly english speaking staffs, spacious room”
I was there with my parents for three nights. A bus stop is right outside of the hotel and the hotel provides free shuttle bus to major stops like the subway stations (hongjae station and seoul station ) and itaewon. It takes around 15 min to arrive seoul station and 30 min to arrive itaewon). we joined the DMZ tour where the travel agency provides free pick up service from the hotel. the name of the travel agency is cosmojin. you can get brochure about the tour from the hotel lobby. you can get discount if you join the morning half-day DMZ tour (gather at lobby around 7.40am) with a minimum of 3 persons. it was really convenient especially for travellers with aged parents or young chikdren. The hotel is spacious with 3 rooms where the master bedroom comes with a walk-in closet. the other rooms have big closet and a writing table. the living room is very big with a six seats dining table. the kitchen is spacious too and equiped with a stove and cutlery and wine glasses. The hotel also provides washing machine and dryer.
Grand Hilton is Grand”
The Grand Suite Residence is just a small walk across the parking lot. It was a beautiful place, filled with many Christmas trees and charming decorations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. English was spoken all around. The food on the buffet was very good but overall this place is expensive. Very expensive. This place is great for a group of friends to get together for Christmas or Thanksgiving dinner. It would be much cheaper to have people chip in. You can 5 people plus the huge floor. We had a great time.
Very Nice and Friendly”
Hotel is in the compound of Grand Hilton Hotel, beside Hilton Convention Center. We've been to this hotel during winter season, we're from tropical country so we appreciate the very good heating of the unit. Kids love the rooms, there are plenty of beds, good for 6 persons in a three bedroom unit. We would have loved it if there's an internet connection in the unit, but if your intention is to bond with the kids, no internet and no tvs in the bedrooms is much much better!!! You can bring and cook your own food, there's even an oven,a dishwasher and a big washer and separate dryer. Unit is cleaned everyday and everything is replenished. they even booked us a transfer night before our departure, very smooth checked-in and checked-out. Use the shuttle bus by hilton going to major shopping area and subway stations.
Well equipped serviced apartment ”
If you are traveling as a family with kids, this residential will be a perfect choice. You are renting an apartment (condo) with fully equipped kitchen (US home appliances), laundry machine and dryer, bedrooms with closets and clean linen, and a BIG living room area for your energetic little ones to have fun. But meals are expensive and no stores nearby. But the Hotel provides shuttle bus to downtown Seoul. It's remotely located, but that's why you get such a good deal.
Great room size and comfortable accommodation”
This hotel offers many pleasant surprises, including good room size, clean rooms, good location to experience local culture, many inexpensive eating places that one can enjoy good and hygienic local food. I would recommend this hotel to families that are in Seoul for a longer stay and have the plan to enjoy local culture and food. Transport from airport to hotel was easy and inexpensive Transport from hotel to nearest metro train station was free. If preferred, walking to the nearest metro train station was not difficult, in fact it was very pleasant during the Oct days. The nearest station is not far from many of the tourist spots, therefore traveling fee was inexpensive. I would stay in this hotel again if I visit Seoul for holidays.
nice hotel, friendly and accommodating staff”
wonderful, staff very helpful. Place near major city attractions. Shuttle every hour very helpful. Facilities of Grand Hilton available to Grand Suite guests.
Adequately spacy for two adults and two children. Large living room with kitchen. It is wonderful for a family but unfortunately I traveled solo. There are no facilities such as gym, swimming pool, spa, and restaurant at Grand Suite as it shares with Grand Hilton. Technically, it should not be a problem other than walking for another 20-30 meters to Grand Hilton. Staff are following rules too strictly. I could not check-in in the morning after my 7am arrival at Incheon airport. I have to wait till 12 noon sharp to check-in.
Very spacious and clean, but stuck in the 1990s”
there's nothing wrong with these apartments, but also there's nothing particularly great about them either. the good stuff: the apartments are huge. plenty of space for a family to spread out and feel at home. it's very clean. every day a housekeeper comes and makes up the beds, repaclaces towels and toiletries and washes the floor. she doesn't wash up in the kitchen though. they change the bed sheets every other day. the not-so-good stuff: the location: it's not near anywhere useful. the nearest subway station (hongje, on the orange line 3) is a good 15 minutes' walk away and not ideal if it's hot, raining or if you're carrying shopping etc. no internet. apparently seoul is the most wired city on this planet but you'd never know it if you stay here. not only is there no wireless internet, but there's not even a landline to connect to. if you feel that a holiday in the late 20th century isn't for you, then the only to get online is to rent a modem from the hilton next door. for $20 a day. although well maintained, the furniture is old fashioned (i'd say it whoever did the interior design had a thing about the 90's) with big chunky side tables, ugly sofa and armchairs and the like. it's all clean and comfortable and none of it is old (just the style is old fashioned, but the furniture is relatively new). how to get there from incheon: take the airport shuttle bus (which they call an airport limousine, but it's a bus). it costs $10 per person and takes an hour and a bit and will drop you off at the road leading to the hilton (the suites are on the other side of the road). get the hilton shuttlebus from that stop to drive you and your luggage up the steeeeeeeeeeeeeeep hill to the suites saving you one horrible walk. what you get in the apartment: the bathrooom has regular hotel toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, shower cap, cotton wool pads and buds) and towels.
Great Hotel if you can get a deal”
We have two young children and were able to entertain them well at this hotel. We spent alot of time in the pool and in the playground attached to the Atruim Cafe inside the Hilton. We were able to explore Seoul thanks to the free shuttle and used it several times a day. Having a full kitchen was definately a plus.
Quite good for the price”
This was my third time staying here, and it was as nice as usual, for the price. Not a 5-star hotel definitely, not even a hotel, since it is a residence. If you are looking for a place to treat yourself with a luxurious moment, this is not the place. But for a large group, especially with a kid, this is the one budget place I would recommend. The location is not very good, and there is nothing around the building. But there are shuttles to Hongdae and Itaewon.
Grand Suite Hotel”
This hotel will be a good place to stay if you travel with your family and stay in Seoul for a couple of days or more. The Suite is big that can host five or more travellers. However, you need to watch for their shuttle bus schedule because you will rely on them to go to the nearby subway station and other city centre areas. Otherwise you will have to wait another hour for the next shuttle bus or you can take a taxi or a 15 minutes walk from the hotel to the nearby subway station. In short, I had pleasant stay in this hotel. Airport bus station is right around the corner. The front desk receptionists speak English well that they could answered all of my enquiries.
hotel has a shuttle bus every hour to bring the hotel to the main tourist spots in seoul. the staffs are very accommodating. the rooms are too big for us. the housekeeping did their excellent job. the location is pretty ok that it is near at the shopping marts and 10-15mins away from the subway. the location is safe that you can go home late night.
South Korea visit”
We were in Seoul for four days to visit our son and needed a two room suite. That stay was at the Vabien II and we tried to return there but it was booked. The Grand Hilton Suites was our alternative. It is more expensive, the location is less desirable and the suite was not as nice.
Grand Hilton Residence”
We had a nice stay in Seoul we did lots of sightseeing and the hotel apartments were about 30 minutes out of central city we caught the shuttle bus in the end as taxis were getting lost. The aprtment was clean and suitable would stay there again but make sure that they had the bed requirements right for us all in all a nice stay with hotel amenities at Th Grand Hilton hotel available to us.Very expensive to eat at the Hotel
서울에선 전 이 레지던스가 제일 좋은거 같아요. Guys. You wont regret to choose here. It takes within 20mins from here to palaces and Itawon. I think this is the best place to stay in Seoul.
Very much self catering”
Stay was fine, wasn't amazing. Thought it'd be semi self catering but it's pretty much entirely self catering, they do provide shampoo & shower gel and that's pretty much it. Beddings were changed every 2nd day (even the cleaner accidentally picked up my pj's as well.. never saw them again). There were 2 small bottles of water given initially.. Cookware, silverware & cutlery are all provided but not washed. There is a dishwasher but not gonna start it for 2 plates and 2 cups? No toaster available for borrowing, DVD machine wasn't installed (we didn't ask for it as weather as nice the whole time). Play room was a bit rubbish. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Free shuttle bus to nearest train station and popular area Itaewon. There are lots of local shops around, supermarket, 7-11, local restaurants, coffee shops, quick walk away is a busy road packed with makeup skincare shops, eatery, train stations, a bit of street food. Very pleasant trip to Seoul for us. Trains are incredibly easy and convenient though it drives us a bit crazy with how many people there are. I would definitely this hotel for a family stay but be prepared ;)
