I booked the Great Suite which has the huge bathtub & outdoor view is facing the swimming pool, love the design for the toilet & bathtub! Bed is comfortable & towel's are very clean. Special shoutout to Mr Hazly, taking charge of the frontdesk at 1245pm 26/12 as i requested a 30 minutes late check out & he help me with it. Thank you sir, you have a good customer service! Me & husband have never expected it to be super cool & a very nice play to stay! Love the private bathtub, netflix and chill, spotify and every single thing! Love it so much and both husband & I say we'll definitely be coming back again soon! Thank you for the great place & service! <3

convenient location in little india, nearby good restaurants and bars as well. service by amalina was exceptional :) quite a new place, toilet has a bidet. no coffee is provided, but there's tea. soap and shampoo provided in the shower but no soap for the sink. all other toileteries are provided. nice pool area as well.

overall the room was amazing, staff at the reception was really nice to us and let us leave our bags at the reception as we had to get the cash deposit at the nearest ATM machine. the highlight of the room was the bathtub, it was the size of a mini jacuuzi and it was really relaxing!

Their bed is the best I have ever slept on. The hotel was clean and their staffs were friendly. They even helped when we extended our stay and give beside room so that its easy for us to shift over with our things. Good service 👍

Comfortable and relaxing weekend stay”
I had a pleasant weekend stay at The Great Madras thanks to the friendly staff (Thillai & Syirah) who were always there to assist! The design concept of the hotel is one of a kind, and loved taking a morning dip in the pool before beginning my day exploring the city. The rooms are clean and comfortable for sleep.

Great service, wrong day”
I booked the hotel for a solo staycation with the hotel. However, upon arriving, we were told there were problems with the key machine. As such, i don’t have a key to room and will have to trouble their staff to open the door. That being said, the staffs were amazing and assisted me as and when i need to open the door. Aside from that, it was a great experience, nice decor and overall, a pleasant stay.

Been here a few times, booked different types of rooms as well. Overall cleanliness/hygiene varied throughout our different stays. Walls are a little thin, you can hear if your neighbours are talking loudly, or noises from the common corridor. Otherwise, would say that it's usually good value for money

Great as a homebase in exploring Singapore”
First, note that Google Maps is wrong - the closest MRT is not Jalan Besar stn, but Rochor stn. Second, the hostel room is great, big & very comfy bed - but the door lock is rather flimsy. My daughters used their luggage as the door barricade at night. Third, the balcony room is as advertised, but at night you can hear people chatting outside, turned out next door is a bar, and one time it blasts loud indian music until 1 am. We slept like dead due to extreme tiredness from exploring the city all day, but others might not. You might want to ask for other room instead , for example the sound from outside does not reach the hostel rooms.
