Fantastic ski-in / ski-out location”
This was our 2nd time skiing here and just as good as the first. The ski lifts and slopes are right there out of the back door. Ski school, ski rental, lift pass sales all have desks and friendly service. Breakfast buffet is excellent and the restaurant area has a great view of the mountain. Then it's down to the lockers to get kitted up, out the back door, and you're on the slopes. Rooms are clean and warm, also with good views. Bathroom has plenty of hot water. The Onsen takes any aches away at the end of the day. The reception staff are super helpful if you need any local advice, taxi bookings etc. There's a free and frequent bus service that goes from right outside reception and takes you into the larger Niseko Hirafu town for more choice of shopping or food options.

Pleasant first ski trip to Niseko”
The Green Leaf is a great choice for skier who are looking for ski in/ ski out. As a beginner, the beginners slopes are less crowded than those in Hilton. Making this a great place for learning or practising those skiing skills/technique. If you'd like to experience the onsen, there are 2 in the hotel and you could use the one in Hilton too! I highly recommend this place!

Great little hotel with fantastic facilities”
Perfect for those looking for a ski holiday. Convenient ski in/out. Great terrains for beginners and advances skiers. Compliments to the breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed the food here. Frequent shuttle buses are also a plus, which can take u to most location in Niseko.

Not Again”
Very inflexible with reservations, especially for the price. Very busy, getting lift tickets took forever cause they won't sell em the day before??? You could buy em in a machine, but it was very confusing.. The staff seems a little "stressed", maybe because its so busy??? Nice Onsen, breakfast was ok and dinner there was better than their"village". Amazingly overpriced there. Overall just okay for the money.

Small, far and expensive”
The building design is very very old, e. g. uses a traditional key to unlock the door knob, analog thermostat, dated furniture, etc. The room and toilet are very very SMALL for the expensive price you pay and the design of the building has the rooms stretched far from the elevator. We have stayed at bigger and more modern hotels even homes and value for money in other locations in Tokyo and Sapporo. To get to other outside facilities, food, shopping, crowd options is highly depending on hourly scheduled shuttles due to its location, so better to stay at Hirafu area where everything is within walking distance. Stayed here for our first Japan trip to support YTL product, but would not revisit this hotel.

The hotel and the reception were good, however the ski rental staffs were not that friendly, ”
In some cases even rude to some guests. -The breakfast was a routine and boring after few days.

definitely not recommended ”
We have just stayed 6 days in GreenLeaf overall we are very disappointed. There is only one restaurant and the food quality is extremely poor for both breakfast buffet and dinner buffet, this really impacted the holiday quality. Therefore you have to take shuttle bus to go to Hilton or Hirafu for dinner, however the bus is not very often and without reservation it’s almost impossible to find a restaurant, this might be exceptional this year as Japan was recently opened post COVID-19.

Service level has gone down so much”
The minimart is open only 5pm-9pm, 1 restaurant on level 2 that serves decent bfast, but bad lunch and dinner. Ski rental place was a mess operationally, especially in the morning. Room is decent but looks old. The buses to hirafu runs only every hour or so, and last bus is at 9pm. And 90% run by non japanese and mostly freelancers. The only "non japanese" standard hotel, in japan. I dont write critiques like this but i think this is necessary for their own improvements. I hope they can bring "japan" back to this hotel.

1 week Ski Trip in Niseko ”
We stayed in the Green Leaf for 7 nights this January 2018 and it was our return trip from last year too. We came back to stay because the location is excellent for ski in and ski out! Especially, the resort is located in (Niseko Village) 1 of the 4 ski resorts in the entire Niseko which is relatively quiet and good for beginners practicing on mellow slopes. We didn't have to worry bringing too many things to hit the slopes, the lockers room and ski rental are just right there! The facilitates are new comparing with the other ski resorts. The downside is there have limited choice of food in Niseko Village, you can only eat at the Green leaf (1 buffer bar only) or at Hilton Hotel (more choices yet expensive). However, if you are more experienced skiers, you can take gondola at Hilton, it will send you all the way up to the mountain and then either ski to Hirafu or Annupuri. For less experienced skiers, you can just take the shuttle bus which is reliable!

Very cozy hotel”
We stayed in Green Leaf for the last night for our ski vacation in Niseko (before we stayed in Hilton, but decided to try Green Leaf just to see what it's like). 1. Hotel: very boutique, nice decor, cool for young couples. No help from hotel staff in off-loading and up-loading the luggage from car, etc, but that seems to be the norm in Niseko (same in Hilton); 2. Restaurant: only 1 restaurant on 2/F serving buffet and a bar downstairs. The 2/F restaurant is nicely done and the breakfast selection was great (comparable to that of Hilton's). The bar serves a-la-carte menu, although limited, the food is very good. We also tried the Crab Shack which is 5-min walk down the road, also very very nice. 3. Room - very clean and tidy, we booked the corner suite so it was rather spacious as well, also get nice view looking out to the chairlift. There are 2 toilets, one proper kitchen sink, perfect for us travelling with 2 small kids; 4. Location - although it's ski-in-ski-out with chair-lift right outside, but only very few people skiiing here as compared to Hilton, which is strange. Also no skiing school here, so if you're travelling with kids and want skiing lessons, Hilton is much more convenient. Overall, it's cool and nice, it has an onsen in the hotel but we didn't try so can't comment.

Value for money and good ski experience”
Onsen is very good especially the outdoor. Green leaf resident could enjoy the onsen at Hilton too. We took the cable car instead of shuttle bus to Niseko Village and Hilton for onsen and lunch and afternoon tea. Very good experience. Lovely! Room is very comfortable, clean and pretty spacious for japan standard. Greenleaf provides free shuttle to Hirafu, Milk Kobo and Kutchan station. There are convenient stores and a number of good restaurants at Hirafu. The free shuttle to Kutchan JR Station is very convenient and we took the train to Otaru (about 70mins then Otaru to Sapporo(35mins). Must stop at Milk Kobo for their cheese tart. The best cheese tart that I ever had in Japan so far. It is freshly baked and it is so yummy. Other than cheese tart they do sell cheese cake, puff and some other pastry and drinks too. Breakfast is very good. Food is tasty and a variety of selection. Ski lessons (with cost) are available at the ski school right next to the lobby.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic ski-in/ski-out location”
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Green Leaf Niseko Village. The location is fantastic for ski-in/ski-out. We also loved the hotel's onsen(hot springs) which we used everyday. The staff at the front desk and the equipment rental counters were very friendly. The buffet breakfast is nice and the dining room has a great view as do the hotel rooms. The free storage lockers for gear are extremely well done. Overall a wonderful stay though perhaps a bit pricey.

Conveniently Placed In Niseko Village”
It is located in Niseko Village, not Hirafu so you have to take the Niseko free shuttle bus to Hirafu for more food variety. The best thing about Niseko village is that it is a ski in ski out resort hotel and you can rent your equipment from Green Leaf and return it at Hilton niseko or vice versa. You can also ski out to the banzai chair from niseko green leaf, and ski down to hirafu village.

Expensive but worth it”
We took Niseko Village Airport Express from Chitose Airport, stayed at Green Leaf for 3 nights, then left for Sapporo via Whiteliner. Transport was extremely convenient during the stay. We planned ahead and enjoyed the convenience of the shuttle buses to Hirafu, Kutchan, and Hilton. Gondola passes were also provided upon request to head out for more lunch options nearby. Breakfast spread was great, skiing and snowboarding were so convenient, and onsen at the end of the day made the stay complete. We tried the thermal pool at night but it was too cold outdoors so the pool felt too cold for my liking. Just take note that you may have to pay for onsen tax during checkout. Ours is about 900yen for 2 persons for 3 nights. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful snowboarding resort with Onsen”
Well, what's more you could expect, direct shuttle bus from/to airport, ski-in ski-out and very easy access to the lifts, in-hotel snow equipment lockers, great breakfast buffet, and what is very important, a comfort bed and a nice onsen to get your energy back after a whole-day snowboarding ... Green leaf just gave me all I need ! The Niseko United Bus stops at Green Leaf, which is also very convenient, allow us to go to Annupuri or to find some good restaurants or fun places at Hirafu village. Nice hotel, will consider to stay there again !

Fantastic service and truly ski in / ski out!!!”
The Green Leaf Niseko is a fantastic hotel. Check in us quick and very informative. You can get you ski passes and hire right by the reception an literally walk out onto the slopes. Never had it so easy!! The bar is relaxing and the Onsen is a must to remove the aches and pains from the day.. There is a regular free bus service to take you into the town to experience all the different types of food and drink available. If I did have to make any negative comments, it would be the breakfast was good, but very repetitive with the same offerings each day. We ate at the buffet one evening also, and compared to what you can get in the local towns, the quality for slight lacking and also over priced. Regardless, this hotel is a fantastic place to stay when skiing!!

Nice rooms and amazing breakfast buffet”
The best things about The Green Leaf Niseko village is that the lift is just pretty much outside the door step. The staff are nice and friendly and the food they serve at the hotel is great. It is also very easy to get in to town with the shuttle busses that picks you up from the hotel. We will definitely visit The Green Leaf again.
