Excellent hotel to stay on your way to Chittorgarh”
We were looking for a place to break our journey from Jaipur to Udaipur and chose to spend a night here. Wasnt a bad choice by any means - slightly dated but the rooms are big and comfortable. The restaurant is excellent and for breakfast, I recommend their aloo paratha and poori-bhaji - both were top notch. They also have a little antique car museum (abt 7 cars) on the premises which they allowed my dad visit before we drove off to Chittorgarh. A nice charming stop which I'd certainly recommend

Let down by front of house”
Comfortable and clean, pretty good food, not much other choice in Bundi
There are not many decent hotels in Bundi, this is generally regarded locally as the best. It is a not very successful attempt at neo-classical (Residency-style), but comfortable enough and fairly well maintained and a pleasant and interesting 25 minute walk from the fort. The restaurant is just fine, although unable to serve much in the way of alcohol. The main negative was front of house, who were initially quite cool and offhand (they didn't appear to have a record of our booking, allocated a room that was not what we had booked and paid for). In a three-week trip around India this is the only one we left a day early. If we returned to Bundi we would try a different hotel.

Great service, nice room, lovely food & location”
Food and restaurant excellent, fab pool, good rooms, wonderful service
The service was absolutely marvellous, we cannot recommend the staff highly enough, they could not do enough for us. The restaurant and food were amazing, they made spicy indian food specially for us and served lovely cold Kingfisher beer. The room was nice and plenty large enough. Although the bathroom was a bit small it was fine with a really good powerful shower, magnifying mirror and nightlight. There was a tv but not great reception(we watched the cricket). The pool is wonderful, really cold with good sunloungers and nice garden around it. The only thing I'd say is that there's no lounge or bar, which would be nice as they have a vast reception area which is completely wasted - best to have a proper lounge there (there is free wifi) where you can buy a drink, connect to wifi and watch a big tv.

    A Palace indeed!”
Spacious clean room, attentive staff, close to bazaar
On arrival, We were amazed to be driven into the grounds of what appeared to be a private palace! But no, this really was our hotel. An enormous front foyer was matched in scale by our room and the grounds. Staying just before the tourist season got going meant that we were almost the only guests, but we're sure it would never feel crowded. From the somewhat disappointingly neglected fort on the hill, the most prominent building on the Bundi skyline is the hotel.

    Huge rooms not great location”
    Swimming pool
Staff were helpful. Location was away from the centre. I felt stranded. Appeared on the net to be heritage but is new and a bit soulless. Bed was very comfortable tho amd the pool was great. Hotel needs a bit of detailing. Huge rooms with marble floors and great linen.
