Good and Bad
The hotel is beautifully decorated and every room is unique. However, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on in the rooms next door. Also, the beds are very hard.

Lovely and unique hotel
We had a lovely stay. Very convenient, within walking distance to concubine's lane and Ho Yan Hor Museum, as well as to a number of street arts. Room is a bit smaller than what we had expected but very unique and interesting decorations.

Great hotel with nice decoration
Great location in the old town. The whole building, especially restaurant and lobby. is nicely decorated with woods. Room is small but still acceptable. The hotel is not sound-proven, anything outside can be heard in the room. So better bring a pair of ear-plug if you are sensitive to sounds.

Very Artsy homestay situated in the heart of Ipoh Town
This is a very cute and artsy homestay/boutique hotel located in the heart of Ipoh town. This hotel is very clean, well-maintained and unique. It's also very convenient to get to most interesting places in Ipoh. There were a lot of arts performances and showcases just right at the back of the street (it was on a Sunday). Absolutely one-of-a-kind and I would definitely recommend this homestay to anyone visiting to Ipoh.

Quaint Little Place in Ipoh town
The location is pretty strategic, in the center of the town. Loving the vibe of the whole place, very charming. I booked a family cabin, the room was a little small for 3 people but it was clean and equipped with basic amenities. The only complaint is the bed was very hard! It was a decent stay for a short trip.

In the heart of the old town
Location, room and parking
Perfect location in the heart of the old town. There's a good Chinese restaurant nearby. Plenty of parking in front of the hotel. Bed is a bit hard though and walls are thin.

Hotel charges for location and creativity Only
Just location and style. (read more below)
Location: - Very well positioned with food and attractions at walking distance - Parking easy to be found Style: - Very different with good mix of tradition and creativity - The lobby was really nice, cozy and stylish - The side alley was comfortable to have a break at Security: - Slightly intimidated at night when the police was doing their rounds. - The only hotel in the area with doors wide open - One of the few shops still open at night in the area (could close up and use the side swipe card door earlier) - More people to man the lobby if need be Customer service: - Polite and friendly attendants. bilingual, which is great - Would advice them to skip the welcome drink - not all customers are incline towards their exotic mix (I am a Malaysian) Room: - Bed was rock hard. very uncomfortable - Room was dim towards dark. packing was a nightmare. - Mosquitoes issue was terrible. windows are not tightly sealed. no bed mosquito nets available. solution recommended was to use coils. where i am not comfortable leaving something burning when I am aslp - Aircond was barely working - Needless to say, I did not have much rest. Dont mention quality

Nice stay
The hotel is cozy and beautiful. Breakfast is great. Location is superb.
The hotel is located at the middle od the old town within a walking distance to all the restaurants and local attractions. Breakfast is delicious but have only 4-5 choices. The hotel is beautifully decorated but the room is quite small. The area is quiet in the morning but quite noisy during the early evening upto midnight. The staffs are helpful. The room is clean and the shower os good with high water power. Overall, the hotel is great but a bit too expensive for its room size.
