Lovely & very relaxing”
We loved the 4 nights we spent at the heights B & B. Initially we were surprised and a little upset about the distance the heights is from Jurien Bay town (about 8 minutes drive), but this proved to be an advantage to us as it gave us a reason not to leave the B & B for 2 days. We were able to be self sufficient thanks to the lovely breakfast supplied by the very friendly and accommodating owners/hosts and the use of the BBQ at night. The living area comes with a fridge, all the tea (all sorts of different types), coffee, water that you want, a bowl of help yourself fresh fruit. This and the dozens of DVD's that are available to borrow make the heights perfect place to just blob and totally chill out, which is just what we needed. The room & ensuite spacious and clean, and comes with a ceiling fan and TV. The bed was extremely comfortable too. The only slight negative is that the rooms and living area did smell a little of stale cigarettes, despite the fact that all of the rooms are now smoke free. A legacy of the previous owners perhaps? The owners/hosts are very nice and even invited us over for dinner one night. They have recently taken over the B & B and have many interesting and beneficial plans for the property. We will certainly be back and look forward to seeing the premises improve even more than what we think is a very worthwhile place to spend a few days.
Lovely place”
We loved this place and it is located outside Jurien Bay and it was a bit hard to find (without GPS). It is really in the countryside with lots of space around the well maintained property and there is a lot of wildlife (especially birds) to spot here. They only have a few rooms, which are all good size and each with own bathroom and there is free high speed wifi at all times. There is 1 common area which is used for breakfast (help yourself with everything that is in the fridge and cabinets) and where you can sit and relax. The hosts Monique and Geoffrey are very friendly and attentive and will check several times if there is anything you need without disturbing your privacy. We arrived a bit late and we did not feel like going out for dinner anymore and Monique offered us a nice and healthy meal which was a highly appreciated gesture after a very long drive from Margaret River! The surroundings are very peaceful and it is about 6/7 kms out of town where there are some restaurants. I can highly recommend this B&B to nature and silence lovers!
The Heights”
Very pleasant stay. A bit of a distance from Jurien Bay and therefore evening meal. Lovely hosts, happy to help with any questions about the area.had taken in Gluten-free food for breakfast. My slight issue was I asked for confirmation re GF food on the Agodo form. Maybe they didn't get the request for contact. Will definitely consider going back if in the area again.
Comfortable & peaceful stay”
We were checking the Pinnacles and decided to stay at Jurien Bay for the night. We got a bit lost reaching the destination, however the friendliness of the staff made it worthwhile. The room was very clean, comfortable and amenities was well kept and maintained. Really enjoyed a relaxing stay and even saw a few kangaroos in the wild! Will for sure stay there again when we head up north in the future.
Wonderful bed and breakfast, totally peaceful ”
Wonderful owners, make guests so welcome. I would recommend more to guests who prefer quiet away from it all, just what we wanted. Watch out for the kangaroos!! Jurien bay is a bit of a drive away but suited us fine. Rooms are very comfortable and bed very clean and comfortable. Would recommend no problem, thanks for a great couple days away
Comfortable and good value. Very peaceful”
Jurien bay is a lovely little resort but small with limited accommodation and dining choices, the only restaurant we found, the tavern closes at 8 but the food was nice. The best option is to go prepared and make the most of the bar b q facilities at the b n b. Don't forget the insect repellant though if you sit in the garden in the evening the mosquitoes had a really good chomp of my ankles. That said it was really lovely sitting in the gardens with no light pollution the sky was beautiful with millions of stars visible. Coming from the UK where no where is remote I had never seen that before. Our main reason for staying there was to visit the pinnacles which it was in easy reach of. The room was fairly small but very clean and comfortable and the owners were welcoming and chatty.
Cozy place - in the Australian bush”
We ended up in Juriens Bay, as we couldn't get any accommodation at Cervantes; closer to the Pinnacles national park. Although we were there for just the 1 night, it was very cozy, and the complimentary continental b'fast was a definite plus. Good value, and very clean. Limited TV channels, but compensated well by the wider variety of DVD's.
Great overnight stay ”
Clean , comfortable and very friendly . Jurien bay is gorgeous
A Bed & Breakfast in the Bush”
Visited in the Aussie Winter, so it gets dark at about 6ish. If you arrive after dark, be aware it is DARK along the route from highway 60. It is not a difficult place to find, just follow the sign markers off of Jurien Road. Nice place, very friendly and helpful hostess. Extremely quiet at night, simple breakfast in the morning. Says they have 2 small dogs, but we didn't see them or hear them while we were there. Pros: it is quiet, so you get a great night's sleep; hostess is welcoming and helpful to get you to where you need to go. Will even make a meal for a reasonable price. Kitchen area is clean and well stocked. Cons: A bit off the beaten track; breakfast is self-serve and limited to toast with spreads, yogurt, fruit, and cut fruit cups.
Friendly, helpful host”
We enjoyed a relaxing overnight stay. Our room was very clean, with pleasant furnishings and a comfortable bed. A good continental breakfast is provided in the breakfast/lounge room. We would advise guests to arrive before nightfall as the Heights is a short drive out of town and could be a little difficult to find. There are some signposts to follow.
Great service but poor location”
the hotel is neat and clean. very cosy when i first walk into the place. only drawback is the location of the place. it's not near cervantes and neither is it near the actual jurien bay town. it's at least a 10min drive from the town and it's certainly hiding amongst the bushes. not an easy place to find, esp if u try to locate it in the dark.
Quiet and charming - the perfect place to relax”
We stayed at the The Heights B&B recently and found the experience to be wonderful. The owners were welcoming and a lovely couple - providing information on request for activities in the area. We used the accommodation as a base camp, whilst we went out exploring the area, coming back to to cook a BBQ for dinner. The accommodation is kept very clean and the surroundings are quiet and lovely. Highly recommended for that much needed 'getaway'.
Had a great stay nice surroundings and staff. ”
Awsome the staff were friendly and heplfull the room was comfortable and clean I will stay again when I am next in Jurien
Relaxing, friendly and way more than you expect”
You might think this will just be a typical B&B but it really is a lovely surprise when you walk in. It has so many lovely homely touches and we could of spent a few days here to just relax in the common area with the books and DVDS. We felt really away from everything and in a peaceful location. The bed is super comfortable and there is a supply of juice, hot drinks and continental breakfast is available whenever you need it. I can't write everything in here but if you are visiting the area book in at least two nights here so you can recharge and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Simon & Jenny
OK stay at Heights B&B”
This was an OK place, nothing special, but nice enough. The host/owner was friendly and welcoming. A bit outside of the town of Jurien Bay, the room was clean but very small, and not air-conditioned (fortunately I was not there for a very hot night). The TV screen was so small I could barely make out the picture, I didn't know they made them that small!
A hidden gem in the hills”
A very warm welcome greeted our arrival. Our room was well appointed and the bed comfortable, and we had an ensuit bathroom. Patio doors led out to the patio and garden. We decided to dine in and were served a delicious barumundl with salad.Monique is a great host and very willing to engage in conversation and local travel advice. We would definitely recommend this B and B.
Lovely B & B”
Friendly hospitality, modern well equipped rooms, comfy beds, nice and simple continental breakfast. Highly recommend. Thanks for a lovely stay Monique and sharing your homemade fudge
Family inn feeling”
The host is very nice and enthusiasm, you are not in a common and standard hotel but in a clean and tidy family room. It's relaxing and incredible. Everything here is perfect and memorable - it's my first time to stay this special house, I found every tiny thing is taken care of in a very nice and peaceful mode. Thank you.
Only ok”
This B&B is several minutes drive from Jurien Bay. Breakfast is self-serve. My room was comfortable, but the whole stay was a bit disappointing for the price
Exceptional”
Lovely quiet place to stay. Very friendly host/owner, who made us feel welcome and relaxed. The breakfast/snack options were great and a good choice of DVD's to view in the evening! Many thanks!
