Second time stay ”
Back to The Hill Hotel for 2nd time on my trip to Pak Chong and Khao Yai. The service of the staff and room cleanliness is maintained with no complaints and satisfied. Wish to acknowledge the hotel person in charge that hope have more choices on breakfast menu which it's still the same on my 1st time stay here. Looking forward for more and thanks for everything too.

Quiet surrounding and easily located”
I only stay at here for a night as heading to Khao Yai the next morning. I found that the hotel are easy to find as it is in just along the main road to Pak Chong. The interior are old as i might because of constructed ages ago. The breakfast are fine. Can give a try for a night if you happen to travel to Khao Yai / Pak Chong.

Good Rooms but a bit dated”
The Landmark Pak Chong has the presence and room size of a grander hotel. The décor is a little dated and is showing signs of wear but don't let this detract from your stay. While the hotel is located on a major road the rooms are quiet as the hotel is set back and are away from the road side of the hotel. Dining options away from the hotel are limited unless you have a car due to the busy road and limited local establishments.

The hill has eyes ”
We stayed for one night on our way to Khao Yai National park. The location is not the best - it's a long walk before you reach town and we couldn't find any Tuk Tuks or songtaews... We arrived late in the evening. At first, the huge hotel seemed to be almost empty which felt a bit spooky. Our room was very large and absolutely clean. The included buffet breakfast was nice as well. The staff was very nice and helpful all the time. All in all we would probably stay again if we'd go to the National park again.

Decent hotel for the price”
the hotel is about a mile and a half off the main road to korat, on the way into pak chong town. quite large, a little frayed, but good value for the area. if you're coming from bangkok rather than searching the khao yai loop road for somewhere to stay it is a good choice for the evening, and the next day it is a short 30 minute drive into the heart of the park area itself.

Very Helpful Staff & Comfortable Rooms”
This hotel was luxury after staying at a slightly cheaper place down the road. The Hill had extra comfortable beds, well appointed bathrooms and staff that were very helpful and friendly - in the latter case having their staff personally drive us to the bus station to avoid my pregnant wife and family making our way through the rain. Highly recommended.

Moderate hotel. Nice room but not good location.”
We stay in a standard room. The room is quite good in overall; clean and nice though look a bit old. Bathroom and a tub is a bit small but still fine. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. However, there's no beautiful view of Khao Yai's nature available since the hotel locates on the main road heading to the city (around 10 minutes away driving from Khao Yai). Also, you need to have a car since the hotel area within the walking range is kind of desolated and very dark in the nighttime. There's a night market (local food stalls) 5 minutes away driving from the hotel where you can find your food there (quite cheap and good). The most disappointing things is the breakfast. We pay the additional expecting fine breakfast buffet but only to find that it is only 1 set for person which can choose between ABF or boiled-rice; both tasteless and too little to fill our hungry. However, if compare the price to the hotels in Khao Yai area, this hotel worth its price. It will fit the customer who has car and plan to eat out.

A lot to improve”
The location is very accessible, its just along the highway. Breakfast is good, a lot of variety. Staff in the breakfast area is very helpful. Reception staff in the morning is a little bit snob, shes annoying because everytime we ask for help she always says "its not available or she dont know". Reception staff in the evening is more helpful than the morning staff, special mention to Khun Alex, he help us to see the beauty of Khao Yai and he is very accomodating and speak good english. There's a lot of things to improve in this hotel, first is the lift, its very smelly maybe its because of the carpet. There is also a lot of mosquito, and the toilet has an awful smell. Overall we rate our stay here 3 star.

The stay was awesome at pakchong landmark hotel. The staff at reception are very helpful and friendly. The room are well maintain, well lit and air con are in good condition. The room is tidy and clean with no foul smell. Overall is a wonderful experience over at pakchong. The location to the local night market are not far.

Way, way overpriced ”
The hotel is old, crappy and lack of maintenance all over. The location is nice, they have a nice pool but it's dangerous to walk around the pool because of the timber sticking out, the nails popping out. How can they destroy such a nice building and location. The carpet inside is filthy. The entrance of the hotel is beautiful, and that's it. The bathroom is old an dirty. At the weekend, make sure you get a room on the poolside. There's a disco in the hotel on the other side. Yet, there are so many (cheaper) better alternatives in Pak Chong. Really a shame that they don't do anything with such a nice building / location. Is it all bad? No, the shower head and water pressure are great, the bed is comfortable.

Worth every Baht spent for a night.”
I spent a night here for transiting to the NE part of Thailand. The facilities are greater than I expected. For this price, I think it is a good hotel.

Nice Hotel for the Value”
the hotel is good for two three nights stay for sightseeing and relaxing. rooms are adequate in size and bathrooms are ok. bath towels though are now old and need to be replaced with better quality stuff. room door clocks are old and need to be replaced/ serviced. staff are nice and cooperative. i requested for vegetarian food in buffet breakfast and the reception staff helped without any hesitation in organising some veg pasta next morning specially for my family. swimming pool is good in size and was clean.would recommend to one who is looking for value for money stay. good location for those who have their own transport to move around.

Happy Stay”
I enjoyed staying here. The Hill Hotel is a big place for the location, and in need of a tidy up here and there, but everything worked and the bed was comfortable. The bed was not too hard as is often the case in Thailand. The hotel has a great swimming pool, and the restaurant served good tasty food.

convenient location for Pak Chong and Khao Yai .”
This hotel is in a suitable location for visitor of Pak Chong and not too far from Khaoyai.IT an old hotel being renovated. When we were there, many facilities were not available including swimming pool and dinning room was temporarily converted from other utility room.

Thai version of hotel from The Shining”
This hotel looked great in the photos but upon arrival it was very disappointing. The entire hotel smelled like fire and stale air - perhaps they had one there in the past or something. The staff were not very friendly either and check in was cold and formal. In our room, some of the lights were not working and water was dripping from the bathroom roof. We then tried to phone reception but of course the phone was not working either. We went downstairs to ask to change rooms and the receptionist said that he could only move us to a room with twin beds. I kicked up a fuss and we were then upgraded to 'superior' which offered a view of the pool, but nothing else was different from a normal double room. Our 'superior' room didn't have any towels which we then had to call reception to receive. On the plus side, there was a bar at the hotel that was showing the football (CTH), albeit with blurry lines on the screen. The pool looks great too, but we arrived too late to use it as we were stuck in New Year's Day traffic. We were also able to drown our sorrows at the bar and use the buy 1 hour get 2 karaoke, before leaving first thing the next morning. If you are planning to use this hotel to access Khao Yai National Park, I would recommend using one of the resorts near the entrance to the park because it would be pretty inconvenient to drive from here and back each day.

Overall good rating and will recommend to friends / families”
Overall everything is good from facilities to cleanliness but i wish to suggest that the morning breakfast choices need to be more creative. I found out that the choices for morning breakfast buffet is repeated despite with less or many guests. Hope i will enjoy more choices when I return next time. Thanks for everything during my stay with The Hill Hotel.

old hotel”
20years ago, this Hotel may be the gem of Khao Yai but it is really run down and needed a facelift. Water pressure low. Only compliments i would give is the fast service & decent breakfast.

Nothing much has Changed”
Another 2day stint at the Hill hotel while visiting wife's family in PakChong. Nothing much has changed. Would have been spectacular in its day but now just tired and rundown. Having said that it remains the best option in Pakchong. Management need to read some of the Agoda reviews and do something about the breakfast. The "American breakfast" in particular is horrible. Staff were pleasant and friendly and spoke better English than on previous visits.

Old Landmark hotel”
This hotel was a Landmark hotel some years ago. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable but the bathrooms need to be updated with new tiles all round and better plumbing although there is plenty of hot water. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and the reception are is quite impressive just need a major overall and put back to its hey day once more although the price paid was good
