Practical Place to Stay While in Baguio
After reading the negative reviews, I had doubts and I wanted to cancel my reservation. But because I was afraid that it might be difficult to claim a refund since I paid via PayPal, I did not cancel anymore. So far, I'm generally happy with my decision to not be swayed by the negative reviews. Overall, my family and I were satisfied with our stay. Manong Ernie, the one in-charge of the house, was very accommodating. For its price, staying here is very practical. We just stayed here at night to rest as we were outside the house the whole day. One more thing, I'm glad that hot water wasn't a problem in this house and that Mang Ernie did not mind the noisy kids.

Overpriced for its current condition.
The inn location was convenient since I had attended a seminar at a nearby location. Staff was ok, but I didn't really need much. Hot water available.
It was a last-minute booking the day before I checked in. Since the seminar I attended was just a few steps away, I went there around 5pm to check in. They just cleaned the room when I told them that I have an Agoda reservation. The room was clean, and freshly sprayed with lysol. The blanket they gave me was freshly laundered, but not the bedsheet and pillow cases. The cabinet showed signs of decayed wood, and the walls seem it hasn't been wiped clean for at least a decade- the wall paper started peeling-off. I was too disappointed at the overall sight of the room that I wasn't even interested in taking a photo of it. Breakfast was nice though, and came just in time. I don't recommend this place.

Really bad
price, availability
We arrived by car around 7 PM, soon after dark, after 30 minutes of driving around in circles on Baguio's congested and confusing roads. The front 'desk' was unmanned, and it wasn't even clear where it was. We eventually found some of the staff hiding inside the kitchen, which was marked with a 'no admittance' placard. We were directed to park our car right beside the busy street, in the parking area of the Sweet Mates bakery, which seems to be part of this hotel. The next morning, our car had a deep scratch and dent, approximately 3 inches long. The cost of the body repairs will exceed any savings from staying in this cheap hotel. After reading other reviews, we were prepared for a terrible room, and we had brought our own towels, sheets, comforter, toilet paper, soap, and shampoo. In fact, towels were provided, as was soap. A very small amount of tissue was provided, but it wasn't enough for even one BM. No drinking water was provided, and there is no way I was going to drink the tap water. The first night we were awakened by cats fighting right outside our room, which set every dog barking for a mile around. Lovely. Dogs barking was a constant nuisance at this hotel. The very worst part about our stay was the revolting food which was served each morning, announced by a knock on our door at around 8:15 AM. The food items on the plates ranged in temperature from luke warm to cold, and each day included one fried egg (always cold), one cup of rice sometimes fried, sometimes steamed (luke warm), and some warmish low grade meat (oily corned beef, charizo which looked exactly like turds, and I have forgotten the 3rd one). 3-in-1 coffee was provided, which was nearly hot, but tasted sickly sweet and like low grade 'creamer.' If you are going to stay in this hotel, prepare yourself for the worst, bring your own toilet paper, drinking water, and earplugs.
