Accommodation Location and Surroundings Location: It is located near Orchard Road, directly in front of the Orchard Hotel pedestrian bridge, making it easy to find. Remembering the pedestrian bridge would be helpful. Nearby Facilities: There is a Fair Price supermarket in Shaw Plaza, which is connected to the accommodation, where you can easily purchase groceries, takeout, instant noodles, etc. There are also various restaurants available (Burger King, Japanese restaurant, Chinese restaurant), making it convenient. Transportation: The MRT station is a bit far, taking about 15-20 minutes to walk. However, there is a bus stop nearby, so taking the bus allows you to travel within 5 stops, and the bus intervals are also short, making it convenient. Atmosphere: Unlike the tourist-heavy Orchard, this area is inhabited by many locals, making it recommended for those who want to experience the local atmosphere of Singapore. Rooms and Facilities Room: The studio room is much larger than a standard hotel. It feels about twice as spacious compared to when I stayed at Yotel, providing ample space. Facilities: The room has a sink and a washing machine, which is very useful for long-term stays. The water pressure is good, and the air conditioning works well. Disadvantages: The soundproofing is not perfect, so noises from the hallway or adjacent rooms may be heard. Additionally, there was an incident where a staff member incorrectly rang the bell at midnight, but afterwards, they used the 'do not ring bell' button. Amenities: The gym on the second floor only has one treadmill and one piece of equipment, which was disappointing. However, there is a nearby river that is good for running, allowing for safe exercise even at night. Service and Others Staff Service: Most staff members are friendly, and upon check-in, they kindly offered coffee even though I arrived before 3 PM. Housekeeping: Housekeeping is provided three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, keeping the room tidy without any special requests. Deposit: Please note that the deposit at check-in has changed from the previous 100 SGD to 200 SGD. Both cash and card payments are accepted, and if paid by card, it is automatically canceled after checkout. Dining: There are no Korean restaurants nearby, but you can find one by taking a bus to the Novena station area. Overall Review I stayed for two weeks on a business trip and was very satisfied with the spacious room, convenient facilities, and surrounding commercial area. Priced at under 200,000 won per night, it offers excellent value for money, and I would be willing to visit again.
