My friend and I have just returned from a glorious 11 day stay at the Kenilworth. Our purpose was to enjoy a peaceful and relaxed stay. On arriving at the airport in the early hours it was reassuring to be met by the Kenilworth driver and immaculate vehicle. Giving us a little insight into the local area and hotel it was reassuring to hear the driver lived working for the hotel and for the manager who looked after his staff and encouraged the staff to ensure the guests have a memorable stay. Despite a hiccup with original room allocated being incorrectly prepared as a king size when twin beds had been requested, this was soon rectified late that day thanks to the superb duty manager Joyti. Not only did we receive the perfect room with stunning views across the gardens pool and sea, she also supplied Port wine, fruit and nuts as an acknowledgement and apology for the initial error. Nothing was too much trouble for Joyti. Arriving at the tail end of the monsoon season was a great choice, while the hotel was busy hosting a major conference it left the poolside exceptionally quiet. Pools are impressive and kept immaculately clean and ably supervised by Cleyton and the other poolside attendants who ensured our poolside experience was second to none always ensuring or sunbed were prepared in advance for us with poolside towels. We enjoyed plenty of sunny periods with temperatures in early 30s. Any rains were contained to evenings and overnight aside from 1 full day lost to the rains however the onsite So ham Spa was truly exceptional, and so we made the most of a spa package. Better than any we have ever had in England! The facilities are impressive with delightful therapists who clearly love what they do. When the season is in full swing poolside massages are offered. During our visit there was s lot of building work taking place and renovations in preparation for the start of the main season. We had been looking forward to using the outside jacuzzi however this was also

Perfect Honeymoon destination”
We visited Kenilworth for our Honeymoon trip and were given a room upgrade. It has a Large swimming pool probably the biggest in any Goan 5 star resort. Diners are accompanied with Live music . It provides an entry to a great beach with awesome food shacks(with menu card in Russian :)) . These can be visited as the restaurants inside the resort are expensive. They provide candle light dinner tables late evenings ,right on the beach front which was the highlight of the trip.Could do with some indoor games like table tennis, billiards,Foosball.Rooms are neat and the staff is always helpful. The beach is secluded , clean and filled with foreigners ..mostly Russians. Very few Indians around . The Kenilworth hospitality is of International standards and staff is well trained . The breakfast package is worth as the buffet has a lot of variety .We should be back here again .
Beautiful resort but staff was not very helpful”
Kenilworth is beautiful, and it is located right next to a beach with a number of seafood shacks to choose from, making it ideal for a simple, relaxing weekend away. My boyfriend and I hardly left the property and the beach. One thing that marred my experience, however, was that the staff, while neither rude nor discourteous, was hardly helpful, either. On the few occasions we required their assistance (getting a taxi, fixing the electricity in our room (two of the three power plugs were not working)), checking in), we were not given clear directions or guidance, which caused, on each occasion, some hassle and confusion for us. I nevertheless enjoyed my stay overall, but would be more interested to experience other resorts the next time I return to Goa.

Our family beach vacation! ”
My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this resort from the 07-13 February 2020. We were a small group of 7pax in total and I have to say, this hotel is AMAZING! I had booked for two family rooms for my family and a deluxe room from my brother’s family, requesting that my two rooms be next to each other. This request was honoured AND my brother’s family was upgraded to a family room as well, right next to us! The resort has immaculate gardens and the largest pool in Goa, with a winding water slide, pool bar and cold-water jacuzzi. Great staff especially Guddhu at The Palms and Sanat at the pool bar. Family rooms are big and spacious with lovely showers. We stayed in 025, 027 and 029. Can be a bit noisy when wedding functions are on but otherwise a perfect holiday destination to do nothing but enjoy the pool, swim in the beach and sip delicious cocktails.

Kenilworth is ideal for couples looking for a peaceful getaway”
Perfect location in south Goa, far from the mad crowd of North Goa. Peaceful, blissful. Staff is courteous and attentive. Buffet Breakfast is good. Beach, pool, bar, spa, entertainment zone...... beautiful. We just have some suggestions for the management ....... Food (some items in alacarte) are very expensive. eg. Roti costs Rs 125 each. Entertainment zone should have some more facilities, bicycles should be provided free of cost (Rs 150 for bicycles does pinch after paying Rs 11000 as room rent). We had a beautiful ocean view room but after heavy rain the balcony would get water logged (little bit). Free unlimited supply of Kokum should be there. It doesn't cost anything but this drink is so refreshing. Overall we had a good stay.
Nice quitet beach resort”
We stayed just before season started, early October, and we had a great time. South Goa is for sure quitet place at this time of year, so we almost felt lonly there. However, the hotel was nice and delivered what they should, no discussions. Friendly servants, good management. The area was very nice and the beach was direct outside the resort, 200 meters from the pool. Solid place, delivered easily 4.5! Good gym and a very nice looking spa, never tried the spa but it sure looked good.
The Kenilworth Hotel is a wonderful, relaxing place to stay. Very clean. Everyone, including the gardeners, always working hard to ensure everything to highest possible standard. We would recommend a visit to the Spa. The staff helped massage my back, back to health. Thank you all the staff, such a positive team. Look forward to visiting again.
Great location on the beach!”
We were there just at the start of the rainy season so things were a bit slow. There may have been a reduction in staff for this slower time of year. We had a relaxing time at The Kenilworth. We enjoyed the spa services. Loved the beach shack restaurant in front of the hotel---great food and drinks and we got to use their lounge chairs all day!
Clean bright hotel with good service ”
this is a nice, quiet and clean hotel which looked very bright and family friendly. there is plenty of staff on hand to help and has the following facilities: spa, pool, business centre room, conference rooms, few boutiques, main dining, mughlai restaurant and gym. it has a good location in terms of beach which is clean, uncluttered and few people so unlike baga or calangute you wont be troubled. to get around you will need a taxi which can add up in terms of costs so i recommend n goa stay for shopping/sight seeing and few days in s goa for the beaches/night life. the staff were excellent. i would recommend the mughlai restaurant for the food. my only issue is that there were too few residents during our stay and it was too quiet. also for the rate we paid i expected more facilities for us to use/enjoy as one would expect from a 5 star property.
Great resort on an excellent beach”
overall it is a great place to stay. it is open and airy throughout the building and the setting is wonderful as it has access to an excellent beach. the room was fine and the room service was good.certain aspects left room for improvement - the restaurant for breakfast had service that could do with some brushing up, the complimentary newspaper arrived only once during the four day stay and the pool attendant "kicked" us out of the pool at 7pm even though the sign said it was open until 8pm. there are some issues with power being erratic and the internet takes a little extra work to get connected. all that said there are many good reasons to stay at the kenilworth - its pool is excellent with several pools to cater for all ages and the staff at the swim up bar were very attentive. it is in a nice quiet location, yet close enough to the neighbouring villages for shopping, etc. it is also not too far from the airport and there are complimentary airport transfers. it is a great place to just rest as we did after a hectic fortnight of business.
Very beautiful beach resort”
It's a very good experience for having relax vacation in Kenilworth beach resort. I'll come back for another long vacation definitely.
I stayed here for 2 nights with my family. the staff is very helpful. pros: swimming pool, beach front property. staff. Italian restaurant. cons: rooms are old fashioned. the resort boasts five star facilities but there was serious man power shortage especially in room service and restaurant. All Day Dining restaurant is having very few options for vegetarians. dinner buffet costs 1750 per person which is too costly. how can they improve? - by keeping more staff. - rooms need upgradation. - room service should be quicker. I had to call 3 times for a simple request. - Kids play area should be bigger considering it's a 5 star resort. they only have a small room.where only 4-5 kids can play. we also stayed at least Meridien calangute during our stay, and their kids play area was way better, bigger... all in all, you should book this resort for it's beach front location, and swimming pool- which was the best part of the resort.
Great ambience, Soothing hustle-bustle free beach”
It was good stay. I had come with my 6 friends and found the hotel nice. It's a bit expensive but so are all south Goa resorts. Nothing to complain about except they don't serve tea/coffee at poolside. (Only alcohol served) The pool is fantastic, huge and soothing. Don't miss to take a dip in pool. The beach is connected right next to hotel and has shacks where you can dine tonite. Also has water sports on the beach. Excellent for families/couples who want privacy.
Fantastic base in Goa with top quality facilities such as pool area, restaurants, beach access, great staff, money changing facility, bars and some entertainment. The pool area is unbelievable with several joined pools a slide a sunken bar and a 12 foot deep area as well. Beachside restaurant shack was top quality and sunset view as well. Would definitely recommend this place.

Nice hotel with a good beach”
they had overbooked on our first day and hence we were made to stay in another hotel on that day. the next day we were shuttled back to kenilworth. while we had booked a superior deluxe room that promised great views, all it had was a balcony with small window which largely had a view of the adjoining wing to the right and terrace on the ground floor, with a little bit of view of the lawns up front....certainly not the panoramic view promised!! the room itself is like any standard 4 star but tastefully done. the hotel has a nice swimming pool. the sprawling, landscaped lawns are well maintained. Food was ok - we were offered complimentary buffets (at Porto Fino) to make up for the inconvenience caused earlier. the spread is limited, but will have something that will suit most indian palates (in my case, goan fish curry). the desserts are nice. Service is friendly and courteous like you'd expect from any 4-5 star hotel. the hotel staff also arranged for water sports offered by shacks on the beach.
it is really a good place when you are planning to have a break in goa. hotel is clean & quiet, and people there are quite nice. the beach is good for swimming, and also very good swiming pool. hotel also invite guests to participate activities... good!
Kenilworth is really very worthy to stay. i enjoyed with my family and young grand child. Good memories.

A large property with simple yet comfortable decor”
This is my first time to India and did not know what to expect for a beach so I booked a 5-star hotel just to be safe. I was pleasantly surprised by the vast, beautiful and clean beach outside the hotel. The resort is large, the area between the hotel resort building leading to the beach is a beautiful grass lawn with an elegant pool area and tennis courts at a distance. I liked the fact that the Utorda beach is relatively close to the airport. I didn't have to travel far to be in a pristine beach. I can't compare this hotel with others but the beaches adjacent to ours were equally clean, quiet and beautiful. Perhaps I would've been fine to stay in a 3 or 4 star resort as our family spend most of the time in the beach. Nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our comfortable stay. Service and food was fair also.
Fine resort, nice pool and beautiful calm beach”
Very nice and calm hotel located strategically at the very north of the South Goa beaches. Plenty of congress or seminars take place regularly there... The rooms are fine, even though we got one without a balcony, but with a beautiful view. Nice staff and good food.
