Convenient location, great rooms & service”
Conveniently located in Sukhumvit Soi 19 with a few minutes' walk to BTS Asok & Sukhumvit MRT station as well as the newly opened Terminal 21 shopping mall. There are also food stalls & marts located practically at the doorstep of the hotel which makes food hunting easy. Robinsons' department store is just next door & Westin hotel is right in front. One can opt for Mcdonalds too as it is within walking distance. We were upgraded from Gold Key & my family and I loved the room. It has a fridge(not minibar), kitchenette with plates, bowls & cutlery as well as a microwave & the hotel provides huge bottles of toiletries. Staff were friendly & helpful, the moment we arrived at the doorstep, our luggage were immediately brought up to our rooms by the hotel staff. Great hotel & my family looks forward to staying there on our next trip to Bangkok

Very Nice budgeting Hotel!!Love it!!”
Key Bangkok was a great budgeting hotel,we got room 101 n 103 (101 bigger than 103).They have a good staf that always take care of us eventhough not all of them have a good english but they was very helpfull, the room was very good, high speed wifi,LCD TV,good linen n lighting, clean room n also the bathroom. You can arrange a tour around BKK with the tour agent in the lobby, they prices was acceptable.Love very much the area of Key Bangkok, very close to Asok BTS (just 20 meters) n MRT,the place just a few steps of Robinson mall n the new n very glamourous Terminal 21 mall (really like the concept of this mall, every floor have a concept of big cities in the world such as paris, tokyo, london etc.The price was very reasonable because of the area, facilities,n cleaness. In front of hotel was a Korean reatauran, italian, and a lot of Thai cuisine was sell besides the Hotel, you must try the noodle in front of Family mart next the hotel,Very delicious.Places for massage was aroud the hotel, you must try Thai massage after having city tour, must be very relaxing and increasing your body fitness and you can continuing your travel. Have a nice holiday, very recomended hotel for family, budgeting tourist.Definitely will stay in this hotel next trip in Bkk.

Good Stay”
This is my second stay in Key Bangkok Hotel. As usual, received warm welcome from front office and it just took little time for me to check-in to my room.Superb location in terms of accessibility to BTS station as well as shopping outlets (Robinson). Didn't experience any disturbance from red shirts impact at all during my stay in Key Bangkok as it's located at Sukhumvit area.Speediness of Wifi internet connection also enable me to touch up my home work while enjoying my vacation in Bangkok. Meanwhile, there's no problem for me to bring my guest to my room. Can't wait to plan for another trip to bangkok and stay in Key Bangkok in near future...

Great Value, Great Location”
The Key is a great choice if you want to stay near a BTS, shopping malls and restaurants without hurting your wallet. If you take the City Line from airport, it's so convenient to get to. It's just behind Robinson's in Soi 19, less than 5 minutes from Asok BTS and Terminal 21, and near the action of Sukhumvit. To find it, just look up and find the giant Key on the side of the building. The main entrance is actually on a side lane, beside the Family Mart. It's surrounded by roadcart stalls, restaurants (including a Japanese hole-in-the-wall, and a nice creperie called Chez Charlie), and massage places, so you have plenty to explore. Healthland is about 400m further down the road too. The hotel itself has a small cafe for breakfast and drinks but I didn't try it (though we booked b/fast). The Master Key Suite was more impressive in real life. It was pretty huge with the living room and bedroom, a kitchenette with big fridge and microwave, bathtub, giant bed and very clean and comfortable. Only gripe was the two old plasma TVs with only 3 English channels, but they had DVD players in both rooms so just buy some entertainment from the roadside stalls. That's what we did! Probably not the most modern but everything worked pretty well including the aircon and bathtub. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel for its convenience and room features, and all for under $70SGD for the suite. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely hotel”
There are plenty of hotel choices in Sukhumvit soi 19 and The Key is one of them for the budget-conscious. Rooms were not available for check-in when i arrived at 2 p.m sharp and was told to return at 4 p.m. Ultimately, the rooms were still not ready and we were given an upgrade to a Master Key room and a smoking Gold Key room - an unsatisfactory first experience / impression with the hotel. Room amenities were impressive - full suite of toiletries and there's presence of a bath-tub as well. However, i have to put up with the noise from the air-conditioner vent. Complimentary drinking waters were not replenished during the 2nd day of stay and despite reminder to the front desk, they were still not replenished upon my return to the hotel in the late evening. Overall, its a no-frills hotel in an attractive location. I will certainly head back to this soi during my next stay - but not with this hotel.

A great place to stay with most every amenity in t”
For the location this place is a real bargain. Right in the heart of lower Sukhumvit with easy access to the BTS skytrain and busses to take you anywhere in the city. With the in room amenities like a small kitchen with plates and dishes for take home food, travel iron (I think I remember that there was one) and the good internet this is a great place to make your base of operations as you see Bangkok. Despite being in the crowded and noisy lower Sukhumvit area the rooms are well insulated from outside sound and I wasn't at all bothered by my neighbors either. Definitely recommend this place especially with the special Agoda discount price!

Definitely come back next time!”
This is the second time I stayed here and even better than the first experience last year. All of the good points remain: Superb location, even though it's very near the Protest Area (Asoke Intersection), but safe at night. Hotel was very clean and tidy, both guestrooms and public area, rooms were well-kept, everything in good condition. Very nice staff. This time was a very pleasant stay for me and our relatives: 1. I booked 1 Gold Key (standard room) and 1 Platinum Key (Deluxe room), and requested same floor because my aunt who traveled with me is wheelchair-user. They were quite full when we arrived so they upgraded the Platinum Key into the Master Suit FREE. The room is huge and perfectly Non-smoking, bed was comfy. Great! 2. During our stay, all the staff were very nice. The Housekeepers always smiled and completed their job nicely. The Receiptionist always tried to help although her English is not very good. The Bell boys always took care of my aunt's wheelchair, and help every time we went out and back. Great! In conclusion, despite the basic breakfast, I would give this hotel 4*, but 1* more for the super good value! Worth every penny! My aunt had recommended this hotel to all her friends who plan to visit Bangkok! :)

The Key Bangkok”
The Key is in a perfect location in Bangkok - a 2 minute walk from both the ASOK skyrail and the Sukhumvit underground. This area is also littered with 5 star hotels so not as seedy as other areas. The staff are very helpful, on check in we were given a 2nd floor room above a noisy rock band bar, we asked to be moved which we were. Avoid this floor! The rooms are very clean and very modern with flat screen TVs and also a small kitchenette area should you need it. Plus the fre WIFI is an added bonus!! We really enjoyed the Key and see this as a great base and also great value!!

My regular hotel on Sukhumvit”
If you want to stay on Sukhumvit and you want a big room for a good value this hotel is a good choice. It is a small hotel so doesnt offer many of the features of a big hotel, but if you want a nice size sweet in the heart of Sukhumvit It is a good choice. The hotel always gets a smile from Taxi drivers. "Key" in Thai means "Poop" So getting in a taxi and asking to be taken to The Poop Hotel is a bit funny. But although there are lots of Poop Hotels in Bangkok this is not one of them, it gets a thumbs up from me.

Great Location”
It was great, a location convenient to access other places. BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit is just down the road, a 3-5mins walk away from hotel. Asok is 4 stops away from Siam which is the interchange for most attractions. There is a family mart just by the corner and Terminal 21 is also just 3 minutes away. Hotel has privacy, clean and made every single day. It was an overall comfortable experience staying at The Key, i would stay here again in my future Bangkok visits.

Great Location”
The key was recommended by a friend who had stay there on several occasions. Stayed 5 nights from 31/1/10 to 4/2/10. the hotel was full and my room on the first level of the hotel, 2nd floor, was right above the Bangkok Rocks bar and it seemed as if the band were playing in my bath room. They stopped at 1.30am. The staff were able to move me the next night as the hotel was full my first night. Great location just a couple of minuteswalk away from Asok BTS Styrain. Very close to the Westin 5-star hotel and the Tops supermarket in the basement. I wanted to stay again after my return from Chiangmai but the Key is full booked. Will definitely stay here again.

Amazing!! ”
My stay at Key Bangkok Hotel was fantastic! The rooms were very spacious and value for money considering the amount I paid for that size. The room I stayed in had a mini living room as well. The hotel was a very good place to chill out. It is a central location with a 5 mins walk to the train station. Staff was attentive and fast to respond as well. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who likes to stay in the sukhumvit area.

A Jewel in Sukhumvit ”
When i booked this hotel i wasn't expecting much, but since the location and the price was excellent, i gladly booked this against the other hotels. Location is key as a tourist, and this is literally 100m away from the Sukhumvit Station, which is one if not the major stations on the BTS skytrain. you won't be scared to walk at night, as is has its mix of the quaint and rowdy lifestyle. oh an yes massage places. when you turn right they have a great massage place there. :) From the street of the hotel you can literally see the train station which is awesome. second, there's a great Thai resto on top of the 711, very straightforward, and plain looking, but their food is great. its also right next to Westin and a kick ass mall called Terminal 21. In here you'd see per floor terminal themed. You have Japan, middles east, US, etc. with majority high end store, but their food court was great. if you want to do your groceries better to go to the Robinsons grocery near westin, way cheaper.

The Key to Bangkok!!!”
I have stayed here many times over the past few years. Never had a problem. No major complaints. Wifi good. Shower fine. Beds & pillows comfy. Safe big enough for the larger laptops. Rooms showing a bit of age since the first trip but still a very good standard. Nice but small lobby too although not for the super tall as the ceilings are a bit low in places. It's connected to a small restaurant that offers many nice on the lighter side Western meals. The restaurant Thai owner trained in France at the famous cooking school Le Cordon Bleu. Only thing is this time they overbooked my room so they upgraded me which was nice. The room was huge but was a smoking room and although normally it's a problem this room was fine (maybe cause it was newly renovated not sure). Minutes walk to Sukhumvit (Terminal 21 & Robinson Department store). So next to the sky train. Close to all I need. Over all for the price it's very good deal I think and I'll be back when I can get a similar deal again. The staff were very nice too.

Great location, comfy and cosy”
i have been staying at the key bangkok almost every time i visit bangkok and this little boutique hotel never disappoints. while it is not a big and posh hotel, it is new with modern furnishing. i love the fact that the flooring is non-carpeted and the room is clean without any musky feel. the location is awesome (3 min walk from asok bts) plus there is a 24 hour convenient store just downstairs. there are street food available just outside till late nights. with the price range, there is nothing else i can ask for. most hotels with such convenient locations will cost a lot more.

Comfortable stay in Key Bangkok Hotel”
Well, I have been staying in Key Bangkok Hotel for so many times during my trip to Bangkok. I like this hotel very much notwithstanding of its strategic location, as well as the friendly hotel staff and nice condition of the hotel room. I don't find any problem touch up my office work though I'm away from my work station thanked to the free wifi service that provided by the hotel in the room. Robinson shopping mall is just around the corner and that's where you can find McDonald for a quick bite too. For those who want to go further, BTS Asoke station is just within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel and you could easily access to famous spots like Siam Paragon, Central World...and many others. I would definately stay there again for my future trip and have it recommended to my friend too...

Great hotel”
I tend to stay at this hotel more than others now.. The staff has gotten to know me and I get a great welcome everytime I come. The free wifi works great and the hotel is in a good location. It can be hard to find for the first timers but it is worth the search. Only a couple of minutes to the BTS, good massage places across the street and a Tops food market right by. The rooms are always clean and very nicely appointed. A few rooms do not have an outside window, but that does not have to be a negative, you can sleep better and longer. I will be staying there again soon as I travel to Bangkok fairly often, The Key Hotel has become a home away from home

i liked that”
my taxi easily found the hotel, staff was friendly and i liked my room. just a couple of minutes to reach the bed supperclub and q bar. the sukhumvit itself is a modern and busy district ob bkk, so if you want more calmness it may not be your choice. in comparison with the dream hotel the key bangkok is a good value for its money. wil defenetely come back and recommend it to friends.

Exceptional”
I have made The Key Sukhumit my first choice for the 3rd year in a row, coming to Bangkok twice a year for business and holiday. It is tucked in close to Sukhumvit, but just enough around the corner to afford quiet while being just a minute or 2 from shopping, restaurants, great local food stalls and the wonderful nightlife Bankok provides. The staff is friendly and the rooms I've rented comfortable and sumptious.... A great breakfast bufet as well....
