Pros - Very clean hotel, rooms have no musty smell, spacious rooms, good service from staff, impressed from the moment of check-in, delicious breakfast, clean and fresh bed sheets, pillows, and blankets, cool air conditioning (Mitsubishi), clean and excellent bathroom, good hot water supply, strong water pressure, grab bars in the shower area suitable for elderly guests. Cons - The location is more suitable for people without private transportation as parking is limited. The building is quite old but well-maintained. If you don't mind or care much about the age of the building, room, and decor, then it is considered excellent with no issues. However, if you can't accept the oldness, you should consider carefully. Some parts of the room have minor damages, but it doesn't affect the stay in any way. Summary - It is a value-for-money hotel and a recommended choice.

I stayed here for like 5 days before I move to my apartment. What I like: Location is very nice, near China town, accessible MRT and grab bike/car to the center is cheap. Good breakfast selection. I wouldn't get a room with this kind of breakfast in the PH for Php1,200/night. Staff can communicate in basic English and are generally nice. Cleaning lady is respectful and kind enough to offer toilet paper and water if you refuse cleaning. Room is old but it had everything you need. A smart TV, heated shower, cool AC. Basic appliances: Fridge, hair dryer, utensils, water heater. What I do not like: Although the breakfast is good, for 5 days, I find the choices limited. Like only 2-3 things vary per day. So if you're staying like more than 3 days, you'll get tired of eating the same thing. Bed is huge although lacks ample pillows. Sockets are also limited so bring extensions if you could. After smell of things. I think because there's a restaurant below, the hotel smells like food in general: linens, pillows, even my clothes, after hanging it INSIDE the closet. The smell I noticed after I left, my nose got used to it. It gets creepy. Like because it's old and I was alone, the hallways are quite and dark, it has that vibe. Good thing the TV helped but without it, I would be blasting songs from my laptop. Internet is BAD. Like I couldn't literally connect. The smartTV gets connected but my devices wont. If you're staying here, get a good data plan.

+ Location: Near mrt Hua Lam Phong. From outside Exit 3 of MRT, just look up to sky on the right, u can see the hotel over there, then walk to it in 5-10 minutes. Near State Railway too, u can try using it to Phayathai, then use ARL back to the Survanabumi airport. Near Chinatown with a lot of night food and beautiful Wat Trai Mit pagoda. + Rooms & facilities: Spacious, low ceiling, old design but very clean, feel like your home in 1990s. Breakfirst is so so, various style from asia to western and change a little bit from Sat to Sunday. The dining room is too cold make the food get cold quickly but it connects to the next 1980s cafe shop with sunny seats and good atmostphere, i see some people sitting there for breakfirst. + Staff: Not young team but friendly and ready to support you like your aunties and uncles.
