The hotel rooms were very spacious and kept very very clean. Even the walkways leading to the rooms are mopped daily and the entire space is sparkling clean! The hotel's in-house restaurant Wanna's Place, serves halal-friendly food which is absolutely delicious. Their dinner menus are great, serving swiss style favourites like Rösti which is authentic! They also have local Thai favourites which are quite decent. Breakfast buffet has very good selection of breads and toasts as well as local and western fare so quite a number of choices for everyone. It would be good if they included more options for vegetarians! Facilities like swimming pool are good, and clean. The resort is right on the beach so you can easily walk across the road and step right into paradise, with the gorgeous view. Staff are very friendly and thoughtful and made our stay enjoyable!

The hotels colours are white and purple , a nice touch in the bathroom is the fact that the shampoo and shower gel are purple too, and good quality, as is the toilet tissue. All the staff were kind and helpful, always had a smile on their faces, a credit to Michel the manager and the hotel. Breakfast was good, and the coffee machine made delicious coffee. Sunbeds had cushions which is a must I think and both pools were clean and warm. The restaurant was well priced for and evening meal with good portions and good quality food. The only think that I feel that would improve the hotel is a bit more of a comfortable bar area for the evening that you could enjoy, with background music playing for those guests visiting Krabi who don't want the full on beach /bar scene. Overall a very good stay, would I recommend the L Hotel, Yes, would I stay again, yes.

The buffet breakfast was yummy and had good variety (we loved the homemade mulberry jam!), and the room air cons were nice and cold. However, we did not realize what a loud beach Ao Nang was. There are 30-50 boats each day waiting to take tourists out to the islands--and those motors have no mufflers! You also have to cross a busy (and loud!) street to get to the beach, and then go down 20 steps to actually get to the sand--difficult for someone with mobility issues. But if you want to be in the heart of the activity, with lots of stores and restaurants, the L Resort is a good choice as it is a good hotel!

Wanna’s restaurant is not only serves nice food but is a great place to watch the long tail boats sailing to all the many locations far enough to not hear them though 😊! We also had the cleaner lock us out of our room once when we were in the pool and she locked the door behind us, but overall the staff were very good and friendly. The breakfast is in an attached restaurant next door and it changes slightly each day. Hotel is on the beach but at the end of main strip. We checked out a day early not because of Hotel but we found Krabi a bit boring.

Across the street is the beach where you can get long boat rides to other surrounding areas (Railay only 8 min boat ride). Was the fasted and easiest check-in I’ve experienced. Staff were very kind and professional. The pool was nice to relax at. The only negative is the last night we could hear one of the clubs music pounding until 4am which actually vibrated the room. Wasn’t ideal being we had to be up early for our flight that morning. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Very clean, slight noise from bars at night but not disturbing. Our bathroom toilet had a very weak flush but otherwise all good. The location is very accessible to everything at the coast but also very noisy in the evening/night. With the airco on the windows were so soundproof that the outside noise is unnoticeable. I think the breakfast options were pretty good, fresh ground coffee and enough savoury and sweet buffet options or made on demand omelette/fried egg. We checked out early and were allowed to leave our stuff in the backroom, when we got back I asked if I was allowed to shower at the pool (in my swimpants) but the lady at the lobby gave us towels and a key to a very nice airconditioned waiting room with a shower. This was 2hours after our check out time so great service. We will definitely pick L resort when we go back to Krabi.
