Made to feel like a King (or a queen)”
From the moment you enter, till you leave they pamper you. The property is excellently located and very well maintained. It's a 5 start property and what needs to be there IS THERE. What left a lasting impression is their staff.. very courteous and always ready to help and cater to your needs. One such incident was when one of their drivers walked up to us and offered to clean our vehicle for us. We were on the road for days and the car had signs to testify to that fact. I have always felt the need to clean my car on such occasions and it was very pleasing to know their staff felt the same need. And he did do a fine job with the cleaning. To sum it all up, it was a very pleasant stay where I felt very well taken care of.

We had stayed for a weekend , it was a wonderful stay . The location is perfect ,close to Western group of temples . The staff was very courteous and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and really happy about the hospitality

Wonderful time at a five star property”
Though it is a small property consisting of 47 rooms and 13 apartments, the place is run extremely efficiently. Mr. Pardeep Tiwari and Ishwar took very good care of us from the time we stepped into the hotel till we left, leaving no stone unturned to ensure our every comfort during our stay. We cannot praise enough the high standard of customer service at this hotel. Chiraag who is in charge of the restaurant and banquet facilities went out of his way to show us the vegetable garden behind the property from where all their produce comes to the kitchen. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

Great location and friendly staff”
Had a wonderful stay at the Lalit. Was my first time staying with this hotel group and was impressed by their hospitality and warm. Hotel is very conveniently located near the main temple site making it very easy to visit. However, the food at the hotel wasn't great and extremely expensive. There are a lot of charming restaurants nearby worth exploring. Overall had a great stay there and would highly recommend it.

Clean and pleasant, if somewhat sterile. ”
The hotel complex is somewhat dark and depressing and had very few guests when we were there. Beautiful, tranquil gardens and lovely pool. Excellent location right next to Western group of temples (5 minute walk). Staff are very helpful and obliging, especially the general manager, who helped us with special requests. The hotel charges 200 rupees an hour for wifi, which we found unacceptable for a hotel in this price bracket.

An oasis”
Good location, within walking distance to the Western Temples. Visit to Eastern Temples woudl require transport but actually not much to see there. Can give the Eastern Temples a miss. Do not miss the museum 2 minute walk towards the river from the Western Temples admission gate (free). Sound and light show is also not worth it. The hotel has a mini sould and light show after dinner (free).

The most outstanding hotel we're ever been stayed - the hotel & grounds are in tip-top shape, the service impeccable, the food delish, their arrangements for a local guide/driver to Panna national park were excellent choices, laundry well done...yes, it's on the higher side but it is completely worth it. This is our first visit to a Lalit and won't be the last.

Best choice for a temple getaway!”
With a view to the marvellous Khajuraho temples - they are in walking distance - this hotel is a true gem! Wonderful gardens, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a tasty restaurant ..... I enjoyed my stay. There is only 1 thing I did not like: they are charging 800 Rps per wifi day (free wifi means 1 hour only!). It is a clearly outdated. All in all, a wonderful experience!

We would not go back to stay there”
Beautiful well maintained gardens, overall cleanliness, helpful staff
We were disappointed with 'temple view' room we were given. it was really a pool and opposite building view, hence no view or privacy. The location was not so great as we had to drive around the bumpy dug up 'by pass road' to get to it from the airport. The food was average and overall was more of a 4-star facility.

Hotel was clean, room was comfortable, pool was great
The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are clean and well maintained and the gym and pool and very good. International cuisine for breakfast and dinner wasn't great so we opted for Indian food for the remainder of our visit which was a much better standard. We were one of only two guests in the hotel for the weekend so staff service was a little intense as we were constantly asked for feedback, but I'd expect this to be a bit different during high season.

Near the fort. Walking distance to the restaurants. Safe place to stay
Room was ok. Buffet breakfast was not that good as I'm expecting I'll get a better buffet breakfast for the amount of money I paid. When we arrived the hotel we were greeted by unfriendly receptionist. Not very welcoming.

Five star rating is misleading The hotel is very nice and a good value for money but we did not think it was luxurious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent.

Delicious dinners at the Panna restaurant. Also the staff were so friendly with our children. WE really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a bit overpriced, specially since the rooms are standard, but overall it was ok

location and beautiful place to stay
It was indeed a great hotel. I have been to Khajurao before and stayed ata different hotel. This time I was with my son who enjoyed their restuarant very much. They were always eager to please. I plan to go back for the dance festival if I could getan agoda rate again. Hotel taxi rates are exorbitant, so get a pvt taxi. One night service was inadequate and the manager was not very cognisant about the mistake made. Surinder singh waiter was to die for. I wish he could be mmade into a tleast an associate manager. thank you.

Good services and clean.
Never regret staying in Lalit. Quite and near the temple. Breakfast was good. Room was cleaned except a bit glaring during the afternoon sun. The temples are within walking distance. The garden landscape is beautiful. Very resort style. I would recommend this place for anyone who wished to go to Khajuraho.
