Great for business travel with good services!”
The Landis Taipei Hotel is a beautiful 5 stars hotel for business travel. Although a bit small, but the services and facilities are great for any purposes. It is located a little off centre from the business part of Taipei, but it has good local restaurants all around. It is also within 5 minutes walk to the nearest MRT station making leisure travel very convenient. Banquet halls are in good size equipped with all technologies needed for multi-purposes. The staffs at The Landis Taipei had been very helpful at all areas of their expertise, from helping to call a cap to arranging breakfast tables and to setting up an event.
luxury, great service, great dining”
Landis Taipei is truly gem! Luxury hotel with also all needed business facilities, great service, premium Dead Sea toiletries and three outstanding restaurants - of them, Paris 1930 is Michelin-quality (not a joke) French establishment with of the best wine lists I have ever seen to the East of Suez. Big gim with roof-top view is good compliment to hotel's excellent facilities. Hotel is conveniently located between two subway stations at yellow line, so close to everything in Taipei. Note, that Landis is a chain of hotels in Taiwan - we have also stayed at Landis Pause in Wulai and it was great hot spring SPA and dining experience as well.
Exellence Hotel & Service. Will Recommand Friend to Stay!”
We have booked 2 rooms of Executive Suite, I LOVE TOO MUCH for the room, it is BIG & have Living Hall. The rooms reserve with unlimited fruit n water! Since the staff know my birthday is on that day & my friend anniversary too, they have prepare a surprise for us with the Birthday cake & Wine! WE ARE REALLY ENJOY IT!!! Thank you very much for The Management & Staff for The Landis Taipei Hotel, we are really appreciate with your arrangement. Sure will recommend my friend to stay there.

Five stars all the way!”
We were three tourists and enjoyed our stay at the Landis which gets top marks for the quality of service. The staff are very welcoming, fluent in English and very very helpful when comes recommending the best places to visit, dine and shop across Taipei. The hotel may not be centrally located but it's just a five minute walk to the station and Taipei's metro is excellent, so getting around is a piece of cake. The rooms are well appointed and spotless and every request - from 220V power adaptors to a bucket of ice - was delivered in a matter of minutes. Five stars all the way!
great location, great service, small room”
Before I checked in, I did a little search on the hotel and found out that it had great chef on all the restaurants in the hotel. What I found is that the owner of Landis loves gourmet food, thus the restaurants in his hotel all serve extremely great cuisine. The breakfast is very generous, with smoke salmon and salami and many freshly baked danish and croissant...and hundreds of different items, The chinese restaurant tian xiang lou, is great. location is in the heart of Taipei, taking taxi to anywhere in the city is with 2-300 NTD.
5-star indulgence at its BEST price”
My brother and I were so anxious to see our accommodation for the next 5 days in Taipei. It was also our first visit to Taiwan. However, our worries were immediately turned to exhilaration upon stepping out of the Uber car. We were greeted by the delightful doorman and bellhop. Our luggages were carefully pulled out of the boot. The door was opened for us and we were led to the reception space where we met the amazing Linda. The check-in service was seamless yet we stayed in the reception area for an hour. The reason? Because we were so enthralled with Linda and fascinated by her awesome recommendations and suggestions since she discovered that we were new in town. She even gave us pointers, tips (and showed us the websites of the best pineapple cake and outlet mall in Taipei) and gladly wrote instructions in Chinese characters so it will be easy to ask the locals for the directions of interesting landmarks and places to visit. After our lovely conversation, we were escorted to our Executive Suite. Lo and behold! The room was massive and spotless. We had twin beds, which 2 person can sleep in each bed. The bathroom had separate partitions for toilet and shower. The toilet bowl is equipped with electric bidet and buttons on the wall to control the stream of water. It flushes automatically (even when forgotten unintentionally). The tub is conveniently located in the opposite side giving the bathroom its spacious look. Toiletries and amenities were completely provided. If in case we needed extra, we just phone the hotel service number. We did not have to worry about drinking water, too, because the hotel leave 4 bottles inside the room. Since the housekeepers clean twice a day (you read that right - the hotel is very keen in maintaining the cleanliness and order of the room), we were always replenished heaps of bottled water - 4 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon. Same as with toiletries, we just phone its dedicated service hotline for extras. We opted
very good ”
Very good. Everything was great. The only thing that I wish to say is that being a vegetarian, there should have been more choices of vegetarian food. Taiwan has a long tradition of being vegetarian friendly, in the previous few hotels that I've stayed, they even had separate pages for vegetarians. This was the only point that I wish to make that Landis Hotel should have more dining options for vegetarians. Especially in the buffet breakfast where choices were extremely limited. That said, as far as I am concerned, it is no real big deal, as vegetarian food is easily available in restaurants in the city, so it would not be a hindrance. However, this is a just a friendly suggestion which would also serve the hotel's interests, as vegetarians are a growing population
Excellent hotel with great staff”
We had a great stay at The Landis, we were treated very well, all staff were extremely helpful and happy to help. Great language skills and if you phone room service or reception you are always greeted by name. The brasserie serves great food, but at a price, but you do expect to pay for good food, the beer was a little expensive, but again it is expected in a hotel of this quality. Our room was comfortable, with a divide between living area and bed, good size shower and a great automatic toilet. We would definitely stay here again. The staff are very attentive and do an excellent job of making your stay very easy and stress free.
A hotel of home away from home”
It has been always a pleasant experience staying in Landis. The staff are friednly and professional. The food in the restaurant provided was nice with good value. Desirable location for business travel. The fitness facility offered though not big but is equipped adequately. The fitness center is especially good for people who exercise regularly as the hotel is in the commercial district that has busy and crowded traffic surrondings.
Hands down best hotel all around”
I’ve had the good fortune to travel to many countries. I’ve stayed in humble places and five star. Never before have I encountered the level of service that is given here at The Landis. There are many things I’d like to specifically mention but then this would be a book. I will be writing the company to share more of my good experiences. Do not skip the breakfast option. Healthy and plentiful for body and soul. The concierge staff went above and beyond for my business and travel requests with courtesy, warm friendliness and expediency. The Chinese style restaurant and the French bistro are worth experiencing if you are too tired from traveling or in too late to wander the offerings in the neighborhood. There are cozy things you can order to your room if you are staying a while. A bowl of little live fish, a plant, etc. as an example. I had been traveling for a month, so these home comforts were much appreciated in a hotel room. So thoughtful in every detail here.
Christmas at the Landis - 3 years running”
We have stayed at the Landis for the past 3 Christmases. Before that we stayed at the Sherwood which is in a more business neighbourhood and thus a bit cold. The first couple of years at the Landis was great -- there was a really good front desk manager who was super helpful. This time, there didn't seem to be anyone like that in the front. There was a guy but he didn't seem as knowledgeable as the previous one. The hotel has also become more crowded at Christmas (generally a quiet time in Taipei) as the secret has gotten out. The Landis is a small cozy hotel and they do have a personal touch. The one bad experience was a bellhop who was clearly overworked and was rude to my sister...twice. We spoke to the manager who immediately went to speak to the bellhop. Not sure what happened as all this happened as we were leaving for the airport.
Great Staying at Taipei”
Thanks for staffs we got a wonderful memories of Taipei's stay! Location was convenient for sightseeing and very closely to Songshan Airport. If you use Taoyuan Airport you can easily access by 1841 bus and get off at Minquan Jilin Rd Entrance (民權吉林路口) which is bus-stop in front of the Landis. For sightseeing you can use bus and MRT to going around Taipei. Staffs was not only very friendly and courtesy but also fluent speaking in English and Japanese so no stress to communications during stay. We've just anniversary and sent us a message and some of hospitality. It was wonderful!!! Yes we will definitely come again - Thanks for everyone ;)
Excellent”
I've stayed in quite a few hotels in Taipei during business trips, and this one was high on the value list. It was an executive suite for the price of a regular room at other 5 stars in town. Service: valet parking, nice manners, nice uniforms. The breakfast people could be a bit more smiley, but overall great. Service without being intrusive. Room: large, great attention to little detail, toilet is the 8th wonder of the world. Blazing fast internet. Could have provided better toiletries, but just a tiny niggle. Location: close walk to MRT, convenient stores, restaurants. Easy to order a taxi. Breakfast: this I'd put at average for Taipei. It's hard to get a good western breakfast in the hotels. Not bad and not great. Value: Excellent. Highly recommended.
Enjoyed our stay”
The place is located at a very convenient spot. breaky selection was perfect and tasty. rooms are always clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfy. We all enjoyed our stay there. We love the automated toilet system installed, it was fantastic. Thank you Landis Taipei. Would definitely stay here again.
Home away from home”
This is my 5th time staying with Landis in the past 5 years. Being a business traveler, this is one of my top choice hotels in Taipei. Price is right and great service even though it is not part of international hotel chains like Marriot, SPG, Hilton, or even Hyatt
FAVORITE HOTEL”
My wife & I stayed at the Landis Hotel in Taipei. We love the Landis and stay at the hotel whenever we are in Taipei. Excellent facility with excellent staff. Very European boutique hotel. In addition, the restaurants are wonderful!!
fantastic staff & customer service”
Personally, I like their customer service very much, especially a young front desk staff who name "Ernie Chen" impress me a lot. Ernie is very friendly & professionally. I was approaching him for additional booking advice, on my 3rd day of staying. After that short meet, he is not only can remember me. When I approach him for others advice on my 4th & 5th day of staying, he even can called my name out without refer to my record. I am very impress for this kind gesture indeed! Not forgotten those staffs from restaurant, very nice & considerate staff too. Overall, I like The Landis Taipei, I will be back for my next business trip for sure.
Pleasant Memories of The Landis”
We stayed at The Landis for 5-nights in July. The hotel is located on a busy road but the rooms are whisper quite thanks to the double-walled windows. The sound-proofing works so well that the planes landing at the nearby airport appear to be gliding! The room we stayed was spacious and well appointed. The furnishings, toiletries, and bed-linen were of the highest quality. The gym is adequate. We saw both families and business travelers at the hotel – a mix which always makes it comfortable for both. Based on our pleasant experience, we would happily recommend this hotel to others.
An excellent stay in Taipei”
My wife and I traveled to Taiwan for our Anniversary and stayed for 8 days at the Landis. Overall our stay was excellent, the staff were excellent, the rooms great and the cleaning service without fault. Add to that the bottle wine the hotel gave us for our anniversary and the free minibar, excellent! Getting around from the hotel was easy as the MRT is a 5 minute walk away and there are a number of sites you can walk to from the hotel as well. The door staff were always very helpful with directions and taxis as needed. Highly recommended for a long or short stay.
