Great Location Great View Greta Pool”
Our stay at the Landmark Nelson Bay was quite pleasant. Our room was clean and it good order, It was perfect for the 3 nights. The kitchenette was ample for our needs for our stay, Our balcony had a great view of Nelsons Bay and Port Stephens and a easy walk to the centre of Nelsons Bay and the Marina. The furnishings in the unit were good, We stayed in a one bedroom spa unit and it was perfect for just the 2 of us. The Landmark has a great pool, there was always plenty parking. We stayed at the Landmark during Christmas school holidays and it was busy, But the pool was never crowded. On of the highlights of the Landmark was the pool and area surrounding pool. Over all i would recommend the Landmark Nelson Bay, The Accommodation was of a good quality, reasonable value, good location and view, And close walking distance to some great restaurants and the the waterfront.
A great place to stay”
The Landmark Nelson Bay is located about a 10-15 minute easy walk from the marina, which is perfect if you don't necessarily want to be in the centre of the action. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment, which suited us perfectly. A visit to the shops sorted out snacks and breakfast for our stay and we had a great view. It seems like all of the apartments have the same great view. We will be repeat customers for sure.
Awesome for families ”
Perfect holiday location, easy walking distance to the hub of Nelson Bay. Apartments are spacious and well appointed. The pool was a standout for us, as we have small children and it was a walk-in style pool.
Exceptional”
Love The Landmark. Fourth time we've stayed there this year and its only the end of June. Great place for a 3-4 day escape. The pool and sun deck are excellent. Beds are so large and comfortable. Very clean units and modernised bathrooms. Great views from the balcony overlooking the bay. Quick walk to city centre and marina. Just love staying there.
Ron from Perth”
Perfect for our golf tournament. Handy walk to Nelson Bay golf club and good value meals at Bowling club. Easy walk to downtown. Non-serviced room present some difficulties with no toilet cleaner. Needs instructions on how to use the dishwasher
Good central location, easy access to everything”
on arrival, the security keypad to gain access to the building was 'on the blink', but a quick call to a central number got the building manager down to let us in within 5 mins. the rooms were clean and large with all the mod cons. the only problem we experienced was with the spa bath!, a hand rail or grab handle is essential when getting in or out of the spa, especially at our age (?). all in all, nice place to stay and central to all of port stephens attractions.
Great hotel, Great location, easy”
hotel was clean and the balcony was very nice (facing the sea). i booked a studio suite for me and my wife and we had a great time there. there were cooking facilities but we only made use of the pots and microwave oven, overall a very cosy and warm stay. and check in / out was easy, no frills. will return to stay if ever in port stephens again. had a breakfast at their restaurant (aj restaurant), eggs benedict was good.
Holiday at the Landmark”
Had a great stay at the landmark when we booked I read some of the comments and was a bit concerned because some of the comments where not good but when we got there the room was very clean and comfortable the view was beautiful and the location was great the only down side was they did not have wi.fli
Great short break”
Once you park your car you don't have to drive until it is time to go home. Everything, Restaurant clubs, golf are all within walking distance. Peter at the front desk always remembers us and gives us the best of service. The Landmark is clean and well appointed. We love and recommend the place.
Always a great place to stay”
Thia was our 4th stay at Landmark over 10 years and it was a great a first-time we stay. The rooms have been kept up to date and are well maintained. Conveniently located 10mins walk from the marina and local restaurants and cafes.
Great Break”
We had a great stay. Unfortunately we were only there for 2 nights. We advised when we booked , months before ,that it would be our anniversary during our time there. When we got to our room there was a chilled complementary bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us . What a lovely gesture ! The staff were really friendly & helpful. The pool area was also really good. Although the 3rd floor studio (fully self contained) apartment we had was showing its age a bit , it was still quite comfortable with all you needed for a relaxing stay. If you didn't want to cook there was a restaurant on the ground floor (which we didn't use) or the bowling or golf clubs within minutes, or the town centre & waterfront were again no more then 5- 10 minutes walk. The balcony was a fair size, but the" icing on the cake " was the view. It was absolutely beautiful & even though there was some rain it didn't detract from it at all. We will certainly not hesitate to stay again at the Landmark. There is a supermarket a few streets away for some groceries, although we took most of what we needed. Once again we will definitely stay there again.
Good location but rooms dated and smelled”
This hotel has lots of potential but is let down in it's cleanliness and care. It is only a 5min walk down to the Nelson Bay marina and conveniently located. The rooms are large and the 2 bed apartment we had plenty of room. It has all the facilities we needed except internal laundry. The decor is dated and the kettle was broken. Previous guests had already raised the broken kettle to management but obviously room-keeping don't bother collecting feedback cards. The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness and vomit like odour in the room when we first walked in. We couldn't change rooms cause the place was fully booked. It took 20min for the smell to go away with the air-con full and we had to keep the air-con on to keep it away. The bathroom was dirty too, needed a good scrub and clean, the grout was almost black. Also the garbage chute makes a racket when other guests empty their rubbish including beer bottles the loudest. No need for an alarm clock.
Exceptional”
We have a lovely stay at the Landmark The Staff are lovely and very welcoming. The Facility's are wonderful The View is a millon dollar view We have stayed before and will be staying again loved are stay Thank you
It was a great location to all the needed facilities and the staff were always really friendly and ready to help.”
We had a great time at the The Landmark as it was a great location, the staff were always friendly and willing to help. The onsite facilities e.g. pool etc were always clean and well maintained.
Very pleasant mini break ”
Loved staying at the Landmark. Great size 1 bedroom apartment with perfect little kitchenette for us. Great size fridge, awesome spa bath & comfy bed. Excellent balcony with good views. This was perfect for us as a couple, but not great for our friends with kids. No play equipment anywhere to be seen. No outdoor area closed in for the kids to run around except for the pool - should think about putting a playground in! The bowling club is also not very kid friendly and no outdoor area except for smokers. We would come back here again, maybe not with our friends with kids though - it made them feel excluded from us a bit!
Our Stay at the Landmark Nelson Bay”
There didn't seem to be a working exhaust in the bathroom. The shower pull out / push in button was very difficult to operate and when fully extended it still allowed the water to flow out quite significantly from the tap. The most frustrating issue with the bathroom was the lack of hanging space for towels and shelving and drawers for cosmetics and toiletries. In the kitchen we couldn't get the dish washer to work, one hot plate didn't work and the other one was so slow to heat up we gave up! There was no suitable place to comfortably place the rubbish bin and no place to hang the tea towel. At least three power points were 'dodgy'. The house phone didn't work and even though this was reported it was not fixed. Although the unit appeared clean and tidy there were remnants of food left on the balcony and under a chair when we arrived. The bedroom blind didn't successfully block out all the light from the car park. The meal from the restaurant was appalling. We didn't go back! On the positive side the apartment was quite spacious and in general comfortable. The balcony was really pleasant and the view was spectacular. The pool was very enjoyable. We found the staff in reception efficient and friendly in our interactions with them. With the amount of accommodation available in Nelson Bay we definitely would not stay at the Landmark again.
Had a great weekend with kids, ideal location and perfect views 👌”
Highly recommend the Landmark and look forward to returning very soon!
Landmark Hotel Nelsons Bay”
It is a self rated hotel or apartment complex, it was not a self contained apartment as no laundry, staff were not so welcoming on check-in. We got to Nelsons Bay close to 11am no rush was placed on room to be cleaned but told abruptly check in is a 2pm. I used to be a manager in an actual 5* property in Sydney, usually you would rush room the room for the customer if need be but I wasn't given the option. I found the entire experience very ordinary and no wow factor what so ever. Room we stayed in needs updating.
Comfortable, good facilities ”
Great location and nice apartment. Down side though is you has to pay for laundry facilities and new towels. Other than that clean room with comfortable bed, great view of the bay and a massive size pool
nice hotel with a beautiful view”
nice hotel with a great view. i think its value for money. we had a spa room which spoilt us a little. its close to everything. there is also a restaurant downstairs. their breakfast and other meals are great. but stay away from the cocktails. the hotel was clean and has free foxtel if you get stuck with a rainy weather like us. nice and comfortable bed/
