What you REALLY have to know if you come to The Lantern Resorts Patong during a PANDEMIC...”
I decided to book at The Lantern Resorts for a long-weekend getaway this month as domestic flights have started to open and travel restrictions (domestically) have eased. Stayed here for 5 nights, and I have to say this place is absolutely incredible! The high standards were shown right at the beginning of my check-in, with temperature checks and sanitizing gel available almost everywhere around the hotel which reassured me. Although Patong was very quite during my visit, I observed that the location of The Lantern Resorts is exactly spot-on with every attraction (that is still in the process of opening...) only 5 minutes away! The beach was also very relaxing during my visit. I wonder how amazing this hotel would be when all the highlights of Patong reopen to public! I can’t believe I’m writing this review (and even travelled to The Lantern Resorts..) during the pandemic! To conclude this review, I just want to reassure every traveler that is considering this hotel is to go for it! Good value for money, excellent service, large swimming pools (that I didn’t even share with anyone during my stay) and the location (nothing beats it!). The COVID-19 measures were also very reassuring.

Bad on first night but things changed and I have to say so far the best place i stayed”
I was checked in room 2401. After reading reviews before my trip, i was prepared for the noise but honestly disnt expect the noise to be so loud. Wasnt able to sleep till about 4am. The next say, i asked the receptionist for ear buds to help me sleep better. Upon hearing that, she immediately offered to change my room. After changing rooms, my stay was very pleasant with no noise. Rooms are very huge..good for family. I had 1 infant with me and had no problem with space. Swimming pool was good. Breakfast was awesome, staff were friendly and nice, most importantly, location was excellent. Will definitely recommend to friends and would stay again.

Great Location”
The location is great. There is some sound (from clubs and shops around) in the night, but that should be acceptable since the property is centrally located in Patong. Just 10 mins stroll to Patong Beach, and it is at the doorsteps of activity and convenience stores. Highly recommended. Room was clean, room size was good, and the staff is friendly.

Great motel in the centre of where you want to be. The Lantern is clean and has spacious rooms. The facilities are also of high standard. The staff are lovely and the breakfast is good. We have been going to Patong for 14 years and this hotel is our first choice by far.

A nice budget hotel with clean and fair sized rooms and decent facilities. The breakfast can be improved. It's right near the Bangla road and all the prime areas of Patong. Don't expect a view, it's not a resort. Good place for a budget stay.

Love it, looked around and always go back. 5 minutes walk to breakfast at The Coffee Club Jungceylon. (5 minutes to Jungceylon) Around the corner from Baanzan Night Markets for street food. So close to everything. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable.

The hotel is clean and have private entrance, the location is superb its just next to Bangla road (3 min walking) and to the mall, The staff is amazing , they have quick response, they upgraded my booking from studio to suite .. defiantly will come back again

The aircon in my room was constantly leaking . The security door alarm was really irritating especially at nite . Not for light sleepers as the music from the nearby pubs will keep u awake .

Great Value For Money In A Great Location”
Great value for the big room I stayed in. Good location. Short walking distance to Soi Bangla where all the night action is but far enough away to not be disturbed by any loud music. Plenty of cheap food within walking distance. Nearest convenience store is quite far away because the 7/11 directly opposite the hotel closed down (I guess due to pandemic). Good variety for breakfast but I wished they could have changed the types around a bit. It was nearly the same thing everyday. I stayed 6 days and was bored by the 3rd day. The two most important things - air conditioner was cold and shower was hot with good pressure. Room did not smell and hotel was kept clean. Highly recommended.

Great hotel in a great location with everything you would want. Right in the centre of Patong with good access to everything. The restaurant serves a good breakfast and it located at the front of the resort to watch the passers by. I would highly recommend this hotel. It also has a two good pools.

Good location for who looking for entertainment and walking distance for most things. Probably breakfast menu could upgrade for more variety choice. Water heater are unpredictable as it get hot even you have adjust it nicely at beginning. I would recommend this hotel to others and I’m happy and enjoy.

I stayed here two different times recently for a couple of weeks each. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and very peaceful. They are reasonably spacious as well. It is located in a nice central location and I really enjoyed my stay there!. I could not fault it.

The Hidden Jewel”
We were a group of 7 friends having a get together after 12 years coming from all over the world. This hotel has all the best to offer. Best location, nice spacious rooms and economical rates. We booked 2 x 2 bedroom luxury apartment and it was wonderful. Didn't try anything from the restaurant so can't comment on that. They offer very affordable airport transfers so we availed that. 1200 bhat one way for a van for 7 people
