The newest addition in Hua Hin is funky to say the least. The Lapa Hotel is accessible to the main town, yet a little out of away to give a feeling of being on your own. Attractions in the area include jet skiing, banana boats, paintballing, snorkeling, and go-karting. Close by is the weekend market and the Market Village, a large scale shopping and entertainment complex. With a complimentary shuttle, getting to the nightly market is a breeze. With four dining choices, a swimming pool, spa, and meeting facilities, the hotel is fully stocked for all guests. From bright cushions and rose pop-up sofas to Moroccan styled lamps and wall patterns, The Lapa Hotel is like no other hotel you have ever visited.

Touched by The Lap's service commitment ”
We stayed at The Lapa for 3 nights. We were impressed by their commitment to guest satisfaction. First, the staff came immediately to help me take the luggage once we showed up in the road. Second, they were having construction and they made it up for offering daily snack and fruits in the restaurant in the afternoon.Mostly the hotel would ask you to "understand" but The Lapa went one step further. There was barely any noise. Third, at one night, the door lock failed. They quickly attended to the porblem. On the last day, we asked them to help find a shuttle to Sheraton in Cha-am. Surprisingly, the receptionist asked the management & offered us free shuttle as they wanted to apologize for the door failure. Actually, we were not even bothered by this incident but they did try to make it up. This is really a BIG plus. Fourth, we were offered upgrade! Buffet breakfast were offered daily, even on weekday. For a boutique hotel, I would say their selection was pretty good. I liked the pool which was big and comfortable. The pool had shallow section. So kids would be safe to play as well. For the room, the bathtub was really big. With the high ceiling and large area of the bathroom, it was very relaxing to soak into it. Daily the room was cleaned perfectly. There was free shuttle to Cicada (only fri-sun), clocktower (daily to the night market) and the Khao Takiab (daily). We stayed in Sheraton later on. Dull faces and the staff even didn't know how to escort us to take the elevator (no signage) when checking out with heavy luggages. With that comparison, the service I experienced in The Lapa was already truly exceptional and from their heart. With all these pluses, we love this hotel and will 100% stay there again whenever we come to Hua Hin again.
I love The Lapa!”
The moment we reached the hotel, we were awed by the decor and lush greenery which greeted us at the lobby. The reception staffs were all able to communicate in english. Check in was a breeze and when we were brought to our rooms, our jaws dropped because the room looked just like the pictures or if not better! Getting around Hua hin felt safe and was cost saving because of the free shuttle service to the night markets and nearby attractions. The service is frequent and the drivers came to pick us up on time. One time we were slightly late due to our massage which over ran but the driver waited for us at the promised location. He even sent us straight to the other night market instead of sending us back to the hotel which saved us alot of time. On the last day, our driver was supposed to pick us up at 3.30 and check out is at 12. However we decided to just chill in our beautiful room while waiting for him and requested for a slightly late check out expecting them to only give us an hour more to stay in our rooms. But to our surprise, the man at the reception said we could check out at 3pm!!! We were so thankful to him for being very accomodating and allowed us to stay much longer without any extra charges. If im returning to Hua hin, i will definitely return to The Lapa. I would recommend you to check it out too!!!!
Wonderful hotel with excellent service”
I've an excellent experience in Lapa. Staff are always smiling and eager to help. Shuttle is on-request so you don't have to bother about travelling from/to nearby sites & hotel. We were staying in the pool access room and the room is great. It's just a few steps walking out from the room. Restaurant provides tasty breakfast (included in room rate) and dinner (extra cost). Food variaties are not too many but it's understood Hua Hin is not a big city. If I must say something negative it must be about hot water for shower. It takes about 5 mins to have water heated, and it's not easy to control a comfortable temperature. It is understood that this is a limitation of the city, but not to blame the hotel itself. Overall, I'd give 5 stars to this hotel and always recommend friends to stay here if they go to Hua Hin.
Hidden gem in Hua Hin”
We enjoyed our stay at the Lapa Hotel very much. The Deluxe Pool Access Room did not disappoint us. The room decoration is very lovely, the king-sized bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is large. We love the direct pool access from our room and the nice swimming pool. The pool and jacuzzi, together with the resort-like decoration and plantation in the pool area, constitute a very relaxing atmosphere when we swim. We would rather stay at the hotel's swimming pool than going out to the beach (just 5 minutes walk from the hotel). Staff are all welcoming, friendly and willing to help. They always serve with a smile. Free tuk-tuk service is definitely a plus and makes traveling from here and there much more convenient. Both buffet and a la carte breakfast served food with reasonable quality. We will definitely recommend the Lapa Hotel to anyone who's going to Hua Hin!
Good Location with Great Service Mind”
My husband and I stayed at The Lapa Hotel just for 1 nights on Feb 26-27, 2011. I was very impressed with the great service mind from all staff at The Lapa Hotel.. (complementary from hotel) The room was clean and had a big space for relax. The Hotel also offered Tuk Tuk free service for going to Cicada Market or Hua Hin Night Market. It's very convenient for the customer to go to the tourist attractions in 10 minutes. Hotel spa was also excellent too. If i had a chance to go to Hua Hin, The Lapa Hotel will be my choice again.
wonderful little hotel”
we had a really fantastic stay at the lapa hotel. the room was first class, all clean and neat ond we just went woow when we saw it! most beautiful hotell we have ever stayed in. staff was also supernice and helpful in every way. breakfast was good, they asked what you wanted and then cooked it for you. there was a free tuk tuk outside the hotell at your service between 8.30 and 21.00, you could even call him when you wanted to go home!! pool was adorable. to get to the beach you have to cross a very big and extremly trafficated road, it was the only negative thing aboute this hotel!! after crossing the road the beach was only 5 minutes walking away. we loved our stay at the lapa hotel and would strongly recoment it to anywone!! hua hin is very windy though!
What a wonderful boutique hotel ”
I came to Hua Hin to spend Christmas and New Year with my sister and her husband. They stay in Hua Hin for months at a time. My stay at The Lapa was superb. It's location was close to my sister's unit. My room was large and rather stunning. The hotel has a calming and relaxed feel. The staff from reception to the breakfast wait staff and cooks and room service and pool area and courtesy shuttle employees and house keeping were all thoroughly delightful. This hotel is value for money. I will definitely come again.
Sit back, relax and have a beer!”
Booked a deluxe pool access room for 3 nights, and The Lapa is a lovely hotel to stay at! The guestroom and toilet is really spacious, we were awed by the space. What was even more fantastic was the complimentary tuk-tuk service which was provided by the hotel, allowing you to be drop-off and picked-up from anywhere within this small Hua Hin town! We made full use of this complimentary service, as taking tuk-tuk in Hua Hin was not that cheap for a short ride. Hotel staffs were also always smiley and have great service! Being there on a low season was great, as we felt that we own the whole pool, and sometimes even wonder if we were the only guests staying in the hotel! Great place to rest and relax..sit back, have a beer and stare into the blue skies!
Beautiful, practical with great location!”
We can’t believe we found a hotel that was affordable but clean, pretty and with great location. Perfect. Room is spacious, bathroom clean and spacious and nice balcony. We had two adjoining rooms. Breakfast was so-so but we went to the next door The Coffee Club. Otherwise perfect stay in Hua Hin in Lapa Hotel. We slept well and enjoyed the hotel.
Very nice hotel, but overpriced restaurant”
We booked 3 days at first and then extended for another 2 days. This is a fantastic choice and we had a very nice and big corner room on the third floor. The ambiance is modern and fresh, the lobby is nicely decorated. The breakfast was not great but good enough (the salad in the salad bar seemed a bit old). They provide free wifi internet but our room had a very weak signal, just strong enough or the laptops, but not strong enough for iPhone or iPad. Hotel food (except the breakfast which was included) are too expensive (thus their restaurant was always empty). The hotel is a bit outside of town, but they provide a free (a bit noisy and slow) tuk-tuk until 8pm which also picks you up on demand! So you can get easily into town or to the next shopping center within 5 to 10 minutes. Each time we took a shower in the room it took about 10 minutes or more for the hot water to come. Not a big deal but a minor inconvenience. The swimming pool is really nice and we spent every morning playing with our 18-months old son around the pool. They even provided some pool toys to borrow for free. There was a pool bar but I never could find anyone to order a drink there. The afternoons we spent at the beach, a 5 minutes or so walk from the hotel (across a very busy road and down the soy a couple hundred meters). The beach is nice, sandy and pretty wide (better than the one in down-town Hua Hin) and there are some places on the beach one can eat or have a drink. The hotel staff was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel as it is still affordable for a very nice ambiente and standard.
Great stay in a quiet location”
this was our first trip to hua hin and i feel i made a excellent choice with the lapa. the only negative was our laundry was late arriving when we were checking out, but the staff gave us a 50% discount on the laundry. the lapa is in a quiet location but is a short tuk tuk ride to town with many good choices for dining within walking distance to the lapa. we will stay there again in march.
Convenient accommodation”
We chose this hotel because it's close to 2 places - Hua Hin city and Vana Nafa jungle waterpark. True enough. It only takes less than 10 mins drive to reach Vana Nafa. There's a shuttle provided by the hotel. 10-15 mins driver to Hua Hin city, depending on the time and exact place you're heading to. It's also close to Khao Takiab beach, which I personally find it as nice or better than Hua Hin beach. Room interior is very chic and clean.
Shirt break to Hua Hin”
Stayed at The Lapa for a few days in Hua Hin. Location is brilliant, right next to the mall. There is a nice pool area with a few sunbeds although it was never a problem getting one. Room was spacious and cleaned everyday. They sorted a birthday cake free of charge for my husband's birthday. Breakfast was plentiful, good coffee and a free shuttle bus to market, beach etc. I'd definitely stay again. Thanks
Modern hotel with trendy design”
We stayed at the Lapa Hotel for 2 nights and had booked it with a short notice without much alternative choice in Hua Hin. The hotel turned out to be one of the best choices: modern, clean, with large and spacious, nicely designed bathroom aand very nice service team. The swimming pool with mineral water is an asset of the hotel - trendy design, fresh water. it is a fantastic alternative to the dirty beach of Hua Hin. Breakfast offer was narrow and that is the only thing to complain.
Nice hotel next to Hua Hin Bluport, good value for money”
I went with customers and colleagues and stayed in connecting rooms with my colleagues. The room is spacious, but only twin beds available in standard rooms. Its location is perfect for our restaurant visit at Hua Hin Bluport. For those who come for the beach, please note that this hotel isn't on the beach, but in walking distance. You can't see beach from the hotel, but have to cross the road to another side and walk through a small alley. Breakfast was decent for the price we paid, don't compare to big hotels. Our overall stay for business trip was great, and considered very good value for money.
โรงเเรมสวย ดี บริการเยี่ยม”
The Lapa is a great hotel. I love coming here. It's convenient, beautiful, modern, clean and great service. The hotel restaurant is very nice, great food and nice service. It's located in the heart of Hua Hin, travelling is convenient. I would recommend this hotel.
The Lapa - You don't need anything else”
The Lapa was a very pleasant experience. Very nice rooms (the Lapa cool), pool vas perfect, good and nice staff. Extra plus for free internet and free shuttle service to Hua Hin city with TukTuk.
Great location, comfortable rooms”
Great location next to Bluport Mall where you can find a food hall, shopping, massages, and anything else you can think of. It is also next to a 7-Eleven and across the street from public access to Hua Hin beach. Rooms were comfortable and staff were very courteous. Large array of Thai and western options for breakfast with great Thai coffee and tea and a juice station. The breakfast is good value for money in Hua Hin. Pool is beautiful with a mini-sand beach.
impressive experience at lapa”
we upgraded the room to "pool access" and it was great. we went there with our 10 months old baby. this is our girl's first experience to go out of bangkok and everything went perfect. the baby cot was very useful and the hotel room was clean enough that we let our baby crawled around. the pool access room let us see great view. we have big terrace by the pool. food is fine. havent try the massage. next time with baby, we will choose this room. it's near vic hua hin and patravadi highschool, so we can get to see theatre performance on sat night very easy. and just a few minutes to market village. i love it.
Great Hotel , Friendly Staff”
The room is comfortable with a big bathroom. Friendly, helpful staff with smile. Actually we have check out at 28 aug 13 due to the train cancel so we need to extend one more day at lapa hotel. The lapa hotel staff very helpful really thanks to them cause we have out of money and they still can let us to stay in the hotel with cheaper price. Will come back again when travel at hua hin! We also want thanks to the hotel driver! Very helpful with warm smile!
