Heart of the Earth - it’s like a warm hug ”

What a special place. The staff were so kind (the guy who checked me in, Marcy & Alex). I stayed in the dorms and met the most wonderful people. I’m so grateful for such an affordable option for a warm bed, warm shower, full kitchen and laundry. My stay at the Lazy Lizard was def a highlight of my two week motocamping adventure. Thank you Lazy Lizard!!

poor value”

$32 for a single room, with warped entry door, and shared outside bathroom (need to wear clothes for cold) is too much to pay. No closet, just table and desk. Tiny soap. I can stay in motel for that amount with tv!!

You get what you pay for...”

At $13 a night I feel like there's not much to complain about. The bathrooms were fine and the bed was reasonable (though a bit shaky on the top.) However security is a serious issue. There were no lockers and no door locks. Literally ANYONE could have walked straight in. With keys and lockers, I'd be happy to recommend to others but without, it's a bit too risky for my taste.
