perfect hotel to get maximum from a trip to london”
I would definitely recommend this hotel for those who appreciate a place with the character. At the same time there are all modern amenities and very good service. This hotel is situated in a victorian building. All interiors are in style and rooms are spacious. I am very happy we managed to find The Leonard Hotel. It is a real boutique hotel; therefore it does not have such things as a swimming pool or sauna - but we did not come for those to London - right? Our family of three stayed very comfortable in one bedroom suite. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. There was a desk and a roomy closet. Our 13 y o daughter slept on a pull-out sofa in a separate living room. It had a dining table and a desk as well. Both rooms were equipped with flat screen TVs; there also were dvd and cd player. Our suite was cleaned daily; towels and toiletteries also were changed every day. Marble Arch subway is just 2 min walking; 15 min walking to Buckingham Palace through the Hyde Park and 20 min to Piccadilly Circus. The busiest shopping Oxford St is round the corner. At the same time Seymour St is very quiet. This is the real gem in central London.
COMPLIMENTARY DRINKING WATER NOT PROVIDED”
I have traveled to so many countries and stayed in so many hotels..but The Leonard Hotel , Marble Arch is the only hotel which provided free mini water bottles on the day we checked in. We stayed for 3 nights. I was told at the reception that free water is only provided on the day of arrival. I really don't understand the Management. I don't need Evian , just provide the guess with ordinary mineral water bottles, The tap water in Edinburgh was good and drinkable but not the London tap water. And it doesn't cost much, Please do something. Don't be a cheapskate. I have no other complaints:- Good location, Very spacious room, bathrooms were really great, The dec was fantastic.

Excellent location!!”
This leonard hotel has a great location for everyone, just a minute off Marble arch tube station, Hyde park, a lot of bus stations(for almost all directions), restaurants and various shops(from small stores to Selfridges/M&S shopping mall). We were very happy with this hotel. And all the staffs were friendly and very helping.
Amazing location but most imporatantly the people who work there are so sweet.”
When I arrived at the Leonard Hotel, I was greeted warmly with smiles, especially from this black haired girl (didn't get her name) who hurried out to the taxi to help us with our luggages, to picking the best room for us and giving information! Just so lovely and attentive. Once you have a good beginning, the good experience shall follow. I will definitely make the Leonard Hotel as my favorite boutique hotel to stay in London; Good service, best location (only 3 mins walk from Hyde Park and just 1 minute away the Oxford Street.) Xx happy
Function at the Grosvenor House Hotel”
Very convienient as I had a meeting in the Cumberland Hotel during the day and then an evening function at the Grosvenor Hotel. Leonard Hotel was perfectly located and only a short walk from Marble Arch tube station. I did not eat at hotel but had to score the food/dining to register this review.
Great period hotel with excellent location”
Cannot beat the location of The Leonard. Just behind the buzzing Oxford Street and around the corner from Marble Arch. Great if you want to be close to the action, but quiet enough for a good night's sleep. We stayed in a one bedroom with a pull out sofa bed in the living room, which was perfect for our family of four. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a boutique style lodging.
location location ”
Stones throw from Oxford street and Hyde park. Few minutes walk from marble arch tude station. Although nice and quiet at night. Very comfortable bed. We had one bedroom suite that was a great size for London area. Clean, good facilities. Modern bathroom Would return for sure.
Lovely Hotel with friendly service ”
Leonard Hotel is located at a supremely good location, just a minute off Marble Arc Tube station and at the doorstep of a shopping paradise. I really enjoyed my stay here along w the good service and clean rooms provided. The hotel room provides all amenities needed for a traveller including hair dryer which is an essential item for women out there. I would highly recommend everyone to stay here. Cheers.
Lovely hotel.”
The hotel has a great and helpful staff and is a small, clean and simply lovely hotel. The location couldn't be more perfect-right in Central London,5 minutes walk from Marble Arch station and Oxford Street. If I am coming back to London next year-will definitely stay there again.
the most pleasant stay in London in all our trips”
This was the best stay we ever had as a family of 5 in London in all our travels here. The staff which I find to be mostly international are extremely helpful and friendly. The decor is nice and the rooms even nicer. Its very close to Oxford st and Hyde park wehere we did most of our shopping. Taxis are always available outside hotel and so we decided to return the rented car earlier so thet we didnt have to think about parking. Great thing was that the car we rented from, europcar had a centre just behind the hotel. We will definitely be here again
Great find, a hidden gem”
Stayed one night in a double room. Room size was small but not tiny as similar hotels in the surrounding area. Room was clean, shower was hot, bed was comfy and everything worked - what more can you ask for. Special mention to the staff that were very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to Marble Arch tube. Would definitely stay again.
Great Location. Deluxe room worth the extra. ”
we were given an upgrade to a suite. in central london where space is a premium this was fantastic.room was olde world as the hotel has been converted from terrace houses. decor to match. 100 metres from oxford st and 200m from marble arch. good resstaurants and englush pubs only metres away.
Superb location”
Rooms are a bit small, didn't have a good view, but very clean and tidy. But in terms of location it is very good, 3 minutes walk to Selfridges, 2 minutes to major shopping district, 2 minutes walk to Marble Arch station. Strongly recommended for staying in London if you're after shopping.
Exceptional”
Our first time in London. The hotel is quite old but classic (of which I like it). Really good location because just at the corner of Oxford Street, Hyde Park et al. Staffs are really friendly and helpful in particular the Arab/Pakistan tall guy, disappointingly forgot his name. Just confuse with the breakfast...it was served. Maybe can have a buffet option in future?
Great location ”
Staying in this hotel is convenient as it is only few minutes away from the shops and marble arch underground station. The single room I stayed in had all the basic amenities required. I would come and stay in this hotel again.
Exceptional”
Fantastic location for our shopping trip as this hotel is right by Oxford street & within minutes of walking out the hotel we were right there so no tube or cab needed! Hotel staff were very polite & very helpful. We were able to leave our luggage safely at hotel while we went out for the day as check in was not untill 3pm but we arrived at 12:30. Also were able to leave luggage safely on checkout at 11am while we went out for the day as our train was not untill 4pm. The hotel has a very authentic London feel to it & our room was very clean & cosy too... we had a one bedroom suite which worked perfectly as we have a 14 year old daughter so she had her own room with pull out bed so essentially it was like having 2 bedrooms. Bathroom was very clean & facilities were fantastic, with complimentary Elemis toiletries. Would highly recommend & will definitely be back on our next visit to London.
Wonderful stay, great find”
Having stayed three nights in the Leonard Hotel, we had a fanstastic time. The staff was extremely curteous and we were given an upgrade, which made our stay extra special. The accomodation was lovely and comfortable, and the location, of course, is great. I recommend this hotel.
Family trip to London ”
We choose the hotel as the best location between the central streets and university of our daughter, because we were there to support her at the first days of the first year in London. The place is very comfortable and nice, only very noisy from the another rooms, as the building is very old. Another bad impression come from the loss of a gold ring, from the hob in the bathroom. In the building in front has very nice cofffe-breakfast place. We highly recommend it, too. The hotel has the perfect location-conditions-price in that area. We recommend it.
Great location”
The location is great as it is just behind Oxford street and Marble Arch Tube station. We were allocated on the 5th floor. Unfortunately, the lift access is till the 4th floor. So if u have 3 big Luggage like me, good luck. U can get the staff to help u to carry, if need be. The room is a bit small and the carpet looked dated. The staff are extremely polite and courteous, they greeted us everytime they see us. The complimentary tray were good. I would still recommend this place.
Thanks for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback!
Good location”
Very near Marble Arch/ Oxford Street. Good location. Room is comfy and decent size. Our room is on the 5th floor but the lift only serves till 4th floor. However, the porter was very helpful and helped to carry the luggage up / down so we had no issues with the lack of lift access. Strollers can be placed on the first floor for convenience. Recommended stay.
