old world charm but a facelift needed”
Staff were really nice and the hotel had an old world charm. I stay in 2 different rooms over 2 nights. Both were dated with cracks in the tiles of the bathrooms. Facilities are rather basic and very old. The classic suite was surprisingly very small and I could not open my suitcase in it- can you imagine how small the single room would be? I was impressed with the location and the willingness of the staff which redeemed the fact that this is a rather old "has been" hotel. If you want something like that which is quirky then this is for you. But forget luxury- its certainly not that!

Location is what sells, but this hotel is very dated and needs some work”
On the whole I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was excellent for shops, theatre and restaurants. It was my first time staying in this hotel. They gave me a room early which was great. I had some friends joining me and the hotel staff wer very helpful in giving us the suite earlier than check in time. The suite was huge but very dated- lots of things falling apart and the TV did not work. There was a washing machine but no detergent provided. The second night of my stay , I was moved to a classic suite- it was terribly small and I could not even open my suitcase in it! Limited facilities and very hot and cramped. A marked contrast to the space you get in a double room suite but I really think they got all the proportions wrong- a classic room should be bigger than what I got. The staff were friendly which is a bonus. I think the hotel decor needs some work and the walls, ceiling, aircon units all need to be repaired. Tiles cracked in both bathrooms of the rooms I stayed in.

Expensive for how little you get”
Noise travels through the hallways very easily. Can hear footsteps and conversations in other rooms. Bed was also incredibly uncomfortable.

Great location within steps of Marble Arch and Oxford Street. We were upgraded to a large 2 bedroom. Room is a bit tired re couches and carpet, but beds and bathrooms were great. Staff friendly and accommodating.

The location is good, but the no complimentary waters were served and no complimentary fruits were served. There were not enough blankets on the beds, and the electrical kettle has something dirty inside. Those should be revised and improved.

Amazing location but most imporatantly the people who work there are so sweet.”
When I arrived at the Leonard Hotel, I was greeted warmly with smiles, especially from this black haired girl (didn't get her name) who hurried out to the taxi to help us with our luggages, to picking the best room for us and giving information! Just so lovely and attentive. Once you have a good beginning, the good experience shall follow. I will definitely make the Leonard Hotel as my favorite boutique hotel to stay in London; Good service, best location (only 3 mins walk from Hyde Park and just 1 minute away the Oxford Street.) Xx happy

Perfect location but old and unfortunately not so clean hotel”
Our room was a standard room, when we check in we found used cotton ear buds and one of the desk's drawer was not cleaned. That's why we request to get another room, they give another room, but we didn't know that, that room was so hot even we turn on A/C on October at London. Perfect location but old and unfortunately not so clean hotel

Tatty and old fashion ”
Location great. Staff friendly. The room tatty and old and scary. The decor was very depressing and the four poster bed seemed as if the material on it had never been cleaned as it smelt very dusty. I like more of a modern hotel and this hotel fir me was more of a two star.

Nice Stay”
The hotel is in a good loc of Marble arch. Easy to catch buses, underground, lots of eating places & souvenirs. Very near to JW Mariott 😃 However their best 2nd biggest room was on the 5th fl while the lift only reaching 4th floor Fortunately the reception gentleman was willing to assist us carrying our big luggage. The furnitures of the room and hotels basically are quite old. They need to renovate dan freshen up. The loc was not a disappointment
