Thank you so much for your wonderful welcome, The Light Hotel. This trip was our 10 years anniversary and we were with a 10 months old Because of it, it was quite hard for us to have active journey, but thanks to the hotel, our trip was extra gorgeous. First of all, all the staff are fluent in English with fairly good accent. (Sorry to say but sometime Vietnamese people’s English accent was very difficult for us) Their hospitality mind are always filled with respects and love towards guests. On second day, my baby spread out banana(welcome fruits from hotel) on the bed sheet. We were sorry about it seriously, but when we noticed what she has been done our bed was totally messed. We needed to go out because of the schedule without saying anything towards hotel staff. When we came back to the hotel, staff asked us what happened and suggested us if we can do something to prevent more mess on the bed. We were thankful that they didn’t complain but rather tried to help us.

Without a doubt there was no complaints at The Light Hotel, Hanoi. From the moment of arrival with an attentive doorman, to the reception, the panoramic restaurant on the top floor, this hotel is an icon of efficiency, charming, smiling staff which made for a very happy three night stay. The rooftop swimming pool at 28 degrees was a great bonus after heavy days of sightseeing, The location near the lake is central and many of the places to visit are in walking distance. Special thanks to the assistant manager, Luca who helped sort out a problem for us. Nothing was too much trouble. A memorable stay.

GREAT VALUE, GREAT STAFF”
The staff was top notch during our stay. Helped with everything we need. Hospitality that was second to none. The location was also great, near everything, longest walk to what we wanted to do was just 18 minutes away. Otherwise, everything was between 5-15 minutes walking. Breakfast was pretty good, everything we needed to start our day. Huge thank you to the staff, though. Great job!

What is the best in this hotel is how the staff treats its guests! I travel a lot in Europe and stay very often in Hotels, I would say this hotel is as good as a 5-star luxury hotel in terms of service. Super quality/ price ratio! Can only recommend it

Staying with parents and in-laws”
The room is very nice and clean, got everything we need, the curtains for the bathroom can be controlled with remote, nice extra feature, got everything you'd need in a hotel room, very comfy bed. The staffs are helpful and sweet, great great service, needed help with printing a few documents, got it done at the front desk. Location is great too, about 5 minutes walk to the Lake. All and all very pleasant experience, would highly recommend it to anyone. Steven

Two nights in Hanoi”
The staff were fantastic, very professional and friendly. Rooms were clean and well serviced. Nice walking distance to the Night Market area and restaurants. Good location in Old Quarters district. We also used the spa service and the cafe. Didn’t have time to the use the pool or gym but were impressed by the quality of gym equipment.

Newer Hotel & Very Clean”
We only stayed 1 night at The Light Hotel. It’s about 11 minutes walk to the Lake & Weekend Night Market. The room is very clean. The only thing that we don’t like is the room we in only have only 2 small windows at each end of the room. Other than that we very happy with it. The swimming is small and it’s heated. It’s trally nice especially not many guest use it.

Hotel is really good, very clean and has an excellent breakfast. Staff was great, always smiling and willing to help with anything. The only thing i would say that it needs to be more communication, plus hotel needs to conferm that they sell rooms without the windows and don't upgrade for free.

Clean, comfortable - fantastic bed and shower - and great old town location. Staff were really helpful as well, even prior to arrival they were quick and clear on communication. Breakfast was wonderful and varied a bit each day. Top floor pool is small but a great place to cool off and look over town.

Just a 2 night look around before going to da nang ”
Family of 4 with 2 children 13 and 11 we booked 2 rooms and they put us on different levels not sure why but we made it work the rooms are very small but nice and clean and comfortable it was our first time in Hanoi so not sure if all hotels are like this We booked this hotel because it was one of the only hotels in Hanoi we could find with a swimming pool . The pool it’s self was great just a little small but lucky enough the few times we had a swim no one was there so it worked out great for us. The breakfast was really good we expected a small choice for a small hotel but it was great lots to choose from and nice food. The staff were very attentive and we had a early flight in the morning and even packed us all a breakfast bag to take with us. If staying in Hanoi again we will stay here again very happy

Staff is very attentive, helpful, excellent customer service over all. Room was a bit small but very clean ( the one we had with a small window but can’t see the sunlight at all). However, Lucas, the manager offered us the first two nights in a suite room with balcony which was beautiful and we loved it! Thanks Lucas! Location was great, restaurants and eatery were within walking distance. Breakfast had enough varieties and Pho is quite good. We also got a complimentary ride to the airport from The Light Hotel . Thanks again Lucas for arranging this. Just a small note to the driver that constant texting when driving making your guests feel very unsafe.
