This was my first solo trip abroad and my first time in Vietnam, so I was quite nervous at first. But thanks to Champton Hotel, I had such a warm and relaxing stay. Even though I arrived late at night, Bellman Quoc Hung and Frontman Troy welcomed me with kind smiles. They kindly explained where to find money exchange places and good local restaurants. They noticed my English wasn't fluent and helped using a translator app. They even provided a printed hotel guide in Korean, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was cozy, and towels were provided in sufficient quantity. I brought my own shower head filter, and even after 3 days of use, the water quality was acceptable. Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked perfectly, and overall, the room was very comfortable. There’s a rooftop bar and pool where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Hanoi city. From 5–7 PM, they have Happy Hour, so I could enjoy drinks at a discounted price. On the second day, I had an early Ha Long Bay tour and couldn't have breakfast, but Quoc Hung personally packed me a light meal to take with me. It seems like this service is available to any guest upon request. Since I was traveling alone, I felt a bit lonely, but Quoc Hung kindly offered a free motorbike city tour on his day off. He showed me local spots tourists usually don’t get to see, which was truly memorable. One night I wanted to go to a massage shop, and Troy called the place and asked for prices on my behalf. He also helped me order food delivery by clearly communicating my requests in Vietnamese, so I had no issues receiving the food. The soundproofing was excellent, and even though the hotel is in a lively area, it was quiet and safe. I felt very secure and comfortable as a solo female traveler. Both check-in and check-out were quick and friendly, and the hotel stored my luggage after check-out, which allowed me to enjoy my last day in Hanoi without stress. The lobby was cool and comfortable, perfect for waiting for my Grab ride. The staff's attention to detail and genuine hospitality left a lasting impression. I highly recommend Champton Hotel for anyone staying in Hanoi, and I’d love to come back next time I visit.
