The front officer said something about the room problem. Later, my reserved room was on the fifth floor with the old and lack of fixing furniture . The air conditioner doesn't work . The balcony was nearly with a teen local man still smoking. I calling for changing the new room so move to the second floor. ( it so surprise to heard the staff say something about walk- in groups checkin that day which uncertainly the vacant room for another client. ) The new room is okay just air condition only but the toilet rusticly door handle . The bedsheet have a ink spot . No fridge. It is a cheapest hotel that the group of athletics student from another province most come to stay forca while. At the night so noisy sound from teens student group to practise fitness on the floor. Lastly the breakfast room so hot with 2 staffs working with tired duty . The buffet just rice chicken soup and toast. The staff said bread is out of stock So ,We waiting for 1 hour. But there was nothing happened . This is the first time and last time for this hotel that make me feel horrible service in my life. Don't recommend your relatives or friends to stay. It too bad for foreigner and family group
cozy basic economical hotel”
it is not far from Bangkok and Ayutthaya tourist attractions. it is very cheap and has a good restaurant downstairs. the car parking space is available. the free wifi is for the every room. they also have service for you on weekends if you want to give food to monk.
It's ok for cheap hotel”
The hotel is quite old. Bathroom equipment is not working. Loud sound from group tour. You get what you pay.
Too far. The only thing good is price”
Dirty floor. the owner's dauther & son are taking care of this hotel, they dont have service mind. And there is no standardize for extra charge. The restaurant is not available. The only good thing is price
clean econimical cosy hotel”
the lima place hotel is not in the busy area. it has the very nice view of the train track and train runs frequently. it is nice to see something moving, if you do not mind the sound. ( noise) the restaurant downstair is all right. very reasonable price. it is closed to the Ayothaya floating market which is very nice.
Great place but a long way from town”
Very good value and comfortable place to stay in Ayutthaya. Helpful and friendly staff and good rooms for the price. Depending on your mode of transport this may however not be the right location for you as it really is out in the rice fields - 3-4km from temples and town centre with no restaurants nearby. I rented a motorbike so very easy get to town and around, so not a problem for me and nice to be away from centre, but if you're planning on walking/cycling it is a long trek to get anywhere.
Love the Lima”
this hotel is great the staff is so wonderfull and very helpfull. They went out of their way to make sure you got what you needed or wanted. There are a suspect general store half a mile away but other than that its nothing around. They have bicylces and motorbikes for rent ... it takes less than 10 min to reach town.
The Lima place hotel is an excellent value. From the inexpensive rooms to the WIFI to the excellent meals it was an all around great stay. The only down side is that it is quite a way out of town (They advertise 1.5km but it is actually about 3.5). The City itself is very flat so it is easy to pedal around on one of the 50B/day pedal bikes the hotel will rent you. You can also rent a motorbike or car if you prefer.
enjoy the lima with comfort”
it is a comfort stay with good hospitality.you go with your transportation it is easy otherwise to difficult of transportation...hotel had good restaurant facility neat and clean...conducted tours information not clear but cooperates to do it..
Lima Place Hotel”
The hotel was very clean, receptionist was excellent she couldn't have helped us more, the little restaurant was very clean and the food excellent, also had choice of western style food if you don't like Thai. The laundry was cheap and efficient. There was a little shop inside reception area if you ran out of the basics, also internet use.
Worst breakfast and the room is expensive. No water heater.
I would recommend this hotel provided you can deal with no hot water in the shower”
Only problem with this hotel I could find was there's no hot water in the shower
horrible place, I will never come back. Believe me, nothing good in this hotel. It is so run down, I will not able to describe.
In the middle of nowhere!”
My stay was okay. The hotel lacks an elevator, so be prepared to hike up the stairs with your bags. The room was small, the shower tiny, and the worst bit was it's location! It's nearly impossible to find a tuk-tuk to get to and from the heart of the city or restaurants.
A surprisingly Western hotel”
The Lima Place is a strangely Western-style hotel, given its location. It's essentially a Day's Inn that got plopped down in the middle of Thailand, only cheaper. Clean, big, good restaurant, free wi-fi, payable access to computers with wired internet. A bit out of the way of major sights, unfortunately, but not too far.
Bed bugs and miles out of town”
I really wouldn't recommend this hotel, definitely the worst of all the hotels we stayed in. It is miles out of town and the cost of getting there and in and out of town adds up. There are supposed to be buses but after waiting for an hour we had to order a tuk tuk which we then had to wait 40 minutes for. The rooms are large and I question if the building was built as a hotel or a bedsit . There is no hot water, computers dont work and no air con in our room. The staff have no or very little English and we found them very unhelpful and unfriendly. To finish off our stay I woke in the morning with my legs covered in large bites which I can only explain to be from bed bugs.. Overall cheap hotel but not worth it just book something inside of town
Far away, great value”
We stayed 3 nights at Lima Place, 6km away from ayuttaya. The room was big and clean. You can hear the train passing. The bicycles they rent were all flat so we were offered to rent a motorbike instead, but it was overpriced and the motorbikes looked small. We got a good motorbike in town, half the price.
Not too bad”
The staff member who I spoke to on the telephone asking for instruction on how to fund the hotel turned out to be very friendly and helpful, I believe she is Chinese Thai. The hotel was very cheap, the room was large and clean. However the hotel is a fair way out of town but luckily I had a hire car so it was not a problem for me. The room lacked a fridge which was not so good but the air con worked well. If you want a good budget hotel then this will do well. It is very quiet and I couldn't hear the neighbours! The city is about 10 minutes by car due to the route you have to take to get on the bridge to drive into town.
we thought it was nice that it wasnt in the city center, away from the hustle and bustle. easy to hire a motorbike and drive in there, its not too far at all. internet is cheap. Room is very basic, but spacious. But for a cheap price like that you cant be expecting a 5 star hotel! if your after just a cheap stay for one or two nights, its the way to go
