Great Value Modern Accommodation”
My wife and I stayed 2 nights at the Link 83 Mandalay Boutique hotel. As mentioned in my previous review, this hotel felt like a proper modern western hotel that had modern decor which made the hotel feel comfortable and clean. The room was a tad small but was very comfortable and clean and had the basic amenities such as air conditioning, bar fridge, flat screen TV etc. Located night too far from the Mandalay palace (although travel to the entrance is quite far) as well as Mandalay Hill, the hotel sits in a pretty good location. It is also a block away from the night markets for those that like to try local food and buy goods at local markets. Excellent value for money.

Modern, Chic, Affordable & Centrally Located in Mandalay”
Honestly, I didn't expect to stay in a modern & clean hotel in Mandalay. This hotel has exceeded all my expectations for a boutique hotel. The room size is not big but it is cosy & comfortable with modern designs. The toilet was very clean. The mini fridge has a see-through glass door which was cool with very affordable drinks. The room comes with 4 vacant international wall plugs which was very convenient. Overall, I would come here to stay again when I come back to Mandalay.

Great quality at an affordable price”
I was extremely surprised by the quality at this hotel. Obviously something they have worked on. The hotel is near to a sprawling market, well worth a walk. I moved here from another hotel because of wifi issues at previous hotel. For those needing to use the internet, wifi is very reliable here - and in Mandalay that cannot be said about all areas. I enjoyed the stay and the driver they got for me, Mr Zaw Zaw was an english speaker, very pleasant and filled the time between check out and my flight time with a great short drive around Mandalay. I will definitely be staying here again.

Clean, cosy and comfortable”
We stayed here with two young children. The hotel staff were very friendly and took initiative to help open the car door, take the luggage and assist with check in. During breakfast in the dining room, the staff even helped to carry my 18 months boy so that I could have my breakfast. Also my 4 year old boy accidentally broke a juice glass and the staff were very patient and professional. They changed our seats and quickly cleaned up. The room was cosy, comfortable and clean. The location is central, easy to get to and around. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Mandalay.

Nice rooms, modern and clean, but nothing to do in hotel. ”
Its a very clean and modern hotel. Everything is new, modern and clean. Staff is super friendly and early check in is possible. I chosen this hotel because they were happy to check me in early. I contacted 2 more hotels who either didn't accept early check in, or didn't respond to my email in time. Link 83 was super responsive in terms of communication and were happy to check in 6am which was great! I asked for a room with nice view, but unfortunately for the basic rate all the room have just a normal size window and TV is placed in front of it blocking - so actually it was not the best view ever, but at least i could see horizon. The only downside of the hotel i think is the lack of common space to chill out except sofas at reception. There is no outdoor space, nor bar nor coffee area. So in the evening if you want to relax and have a drink the only option is to go out to nearby Bistro 82 (2 blocks), or little further to Rock Bar Cafe etc.

Great Place”
Just the right amount of luxury after a long hot day in Mandalay. Room was exactly as pictured, place is only 4 months old so everything is very fresh. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. Will stay here again.

This place is super clean and modern with a friendly and helpful staff. Just a few blocks away from a night market. Stayed here for a one now got layover in Mandalay.

hotel is situated in the older neighbourhood of central Mandalay but once you cross the central railway station you will see the area on the other side is a bit more developed. Around the hotel there aren't many restaurants, once i walked around for like 30 mins but still couldn't find a single restaurant so i gave up and returned to the hotel to eat, but the hotel restaurant's food was understandably more expensive than outside and not that delicious. hotel is close to a huge and very busy local market which is full of locals and traffic! But you can easily find taxi drivers there and hop on one to visit the 3 surrounding cities. We paid 40,000 kyats for two for a whole day trip to Amarapura, Sagaing Hill and Inwa, leaving at 9am and returning after sunset by 7pm. Hotel room was clean.

OK price. OK room. Lady at the front desk was helpful with day tours ard mandalay. Though abt 3 times more exp then tours from outside. Not sure abt the facilities in the hotel - didn't see any. Breakfast spread is okay too.

nice an new hotel”
This hotel is less than a year old, Modern and fine. Staff friendly, best breakfast in country side Burma outside of Yangoon so far. Problem is maintenance, same like in all hotels here. There is no mentality for maintenance in Burma as well as in Thailand. The shower door does not close completely and the covers of the handles are loose already and shall be lost. Not big things, but they will pile up in future. A pity.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is well located, close to the street market and to the palace. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We particulary enjoyed the room, which were pretty big and with a nice design. The breakfast was ok, but could be better.

Great hotel in Mandalay ”
We were very happy with this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with a big comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. Lots of choice for breakfast. There aren’t many restaurants or cafes nearby but tuk tuks and taxis were easy to find and very inexpensive.

New hotel with minor shortcomings”
Very comfortable and spacious rooms, still some minor technical issues (e.g., hot shower set off the smoke alarm). Staff was generally very friendly and helpful. Kitchen is ok - my curry was good, the salad soso. No bar, but there's plenty of places around. Good Spa service. Central location, but you can still get out of town in about 15 min by mototaxi. The only downside is that nearby mosques will wake you up early.
