The atmosphere is in the hotel’s name as it is a very lively place. I would recommend it more for younger travelers as the lobby can be quite loud with events but still, it was a great place for my family (w/young children) to stay at. My wife and I would’ve loved to stay here in our younger years, pre-kids, because we loved to party it up in Japan! Clean rooms (except under the bed where my son crawled...), very friendly staff (spoke English), and excellent location (half a block from Nakasu Station). We would definitely stay here again!

The Lively is a luxurious version of The Millennials. In spite of room interior design, the facilities are so well equipped and fashionable. It's more like a designer hotel which stylish, trendy and cool are the main concept of the hotel. The size of my room wasn't as big as I imagined but it's good enough for a single traveller. However, if a guest brings a 28" above luggage, it's hard to fit into the room and the bathtub area might be a bit small for people who are in huge size. The breakfast was just perfect that varies cuisines were provided. The choice of pancakes was a very good idea to take care of the dining preference of guests. It is located at the central of Fukuoka which makes it easily accessible to other places. It takes around 30mins to the international airport. You got no worries about what to eat and what to buy, it's just all around you. I will stay again when I travel to Fukuoka.

Lively in the Real Context”
All the staff personnel from the receptionists to the cleaners were very helpul from day 1 to day 5. The ambience of the hotel is manifested in its lobby, bàr, restaurant and bathroom. We only hope that the hotel did not turn on its heater since the outside temperature was really not that cold. We had yo open the windows to get some chill. And although all really want to help the environment, there could be other means than have a hotel policy of changing of sheets every three days especially during these critical times with the possible spread of viruses. At any rate, we enjoyed our five-day stay in the hotel.

The air conditioning/heating system in the building is the same as the hotel that was previously here and does not allow for individual control of the temperature from the guest rooms, and we deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused by this. While the rooms are a bit compact, it was stylish, well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Isabelle G at the check-in counter was very accomodating, and she even gave us a slightly bigger room which we greatly appreciated. Location was excellent, as the entrance to the train station is just around the corner of the same block. There are a lot of nearby restaurants, konbini, and many stores.

Amazing hotel”
This hotel is super clean and looks brand new. There is an awesome vibe in the lobby, a nice bar, high-tech screens and a pool table. The room itself is small but was still bigger than someother rooms we had in Japan. It's in a perfect location close to night life and the subway. Also on the direct line to the airport ! I would highly recommend !

The Hotel located in heart of the center and convenient to everywhere by walking distance. The located surround with all the malls and famous restaurant. We love the design from the hotel which is new and comfortable. The hotel provided free-flow beer during happy hour which is add bonus. Nice modern hotel in Fukuoka”
I loved my stay here! The hotel is quite new so all the facilities are really nice! The bed is quite comfy as well and the facilities are quite fancy. One thing I felt that could need some improvement was the mobile services. You can request additional amenities or different services in the mobile site then you can go to the lobby to pick it up but, when you go to the lobby, you need to mention to the staff what you need. I could've just went to the lobby directly instead of going through the mobile site😅

My husband and I love the ambiance of this hotel. It is very cozy and comfortable. We got the standard room and it just fit for us. The hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. We love the breakfast. They have different types of pancake every morning. The location is just 1 minute from the subway of Nakasu Kawabata.

The Lively Hakata hotel and restaurant is very modern, stylish and has a very cozy vibe. I really enjoyed my stay at your hotel. I love the lounge and the Liverally - cool concept! Although I only got to try to eat at The Lively Kitchen on my last day, it was actually a nice way to end my Fukuoka trip. The steak was really good! I love the buffet salad! Friendly staff too (as always anywhere in Japan)! I will definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

Small space but excellent finishings”
The Lively lives up to it's name, with free beer at happy hour, a pool table, and funky music pumping on the ground level. The rooms are small but well appointed, with expected conveniences and comforts provided. Will definitely stay here again when I return to Hakata.

Hotel is very well located, just beside Ichiran. There is a station just 2mins walk away. Tenjin is also within walking distance. Area where hotel is located is full of food and shopping. Hotel is new and clean and the staff has a good command of English.

Very good accommodation”
I love the location, so close to the subway, restaurants and Donki! I also like that they have laundry area. I wished they have gym but then there is an Anytime Fitness close by. Staff are helpful and can speak English. Very nice selection for breakfast. I just don't like that I cannot change the temperature on the room, it only has heater option.

All good but no ventilation in toilet”
As stated in the title, all good but no ventilation in the toilet!!! Perfect location: Hotel is located very close to the Nakasukawabata Station (By metro, only takes ~10 minutes from the airport station), Exit No. 2 can directly go to the hotel but no elevator, you can go Exit No. 4 (Don Quijote Nakasu shop) with your big big luggage. Room condition: Clean and comfortable, but a bit small for standard room for two, recommend big room for two (well a hundred more per night, but it's worth); toilet clean with the cleaning device, but the worst part is no ventilation!!! Staff: Helpful and kind, I can store my luggage over there for one night (journey to Yufu). Overall: Good Choice for Fukuoka!

This place was great! One of the best hotel stays we've been to in Japan. You'll be greeted by a very nice bar upon entering the hotel. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We definitely recommend this place to our friends and family if ever they plan to visit Fukuoka.

Room are smaller which is hard to fit 2 large luggage but facilities are the best u can get! Huge bar, common areas and dining which include a free coffee machine for guest to use. Definitely great for coffee person like me. A foc pool table which u can spend the late night there and free beer every day at 5.30pm-6.30pm at hotel bar. Also a tub even in the mini toilet !

Leaving the subway station turn left and then immediately right. There you are at probably the best, affordable, inner city hotels. With free beer after 530 for an hour, excellent rooms, and a space capsule bath pod, the Lively is an outstanding choice. The staff are exceptionally friendly, efficient and speak numerous languages. We have stayed at The Lively twice now and each stay was excellent. The check-out staff got a little snippy once...but overall kind, helpful staff and beautiful space. The free beer at the bar in the evening was excellent and the rooms had all the necessary amenities. Great location!
