Lovely Boutique Hotel!”
i booked a deluxe room at the luxe manor hotel hong kong through agoda.com (so helpful indeed, thank you very much!) with a very competitive rate. firstly i a bit hesitated as never stayed in this boutique hotel when making a business trip in hong kong before. however it turned to be just a very correct decision i made this time. i was so grateful since the first step at the hotel check-in counter, called “touch” which is a personalised concierge service. with the deluxe package booking, the hotel offered a grate deal of services, including every morning delicious buffet breakfast at a stylist restaurant on the first floor, free-of-charge drinks in-room minibar (day-to-day fulfilling too), a posh welcome drink at on 2nd floor bar. after a quick check-in process, a very kind concierge took me to my room on 14 floor to find that the deluxe room was very charmingly touching, smart decoration, not too little, not too much, for everything. i adored a refrigerator which was hidden in a pretty sideboard with a full pack of cool free-drink, as well as a lcd in a picture frame. everything in the room was just perfect, comfortable bed & pillow, equipped bathroom. location of the luxe manor is possibly one of their selling points. it is so conveniently located, either you would love shopping or traveling for business. major transportations are in a short walking distance, both hong kong mtr (underground train system) and a star ferry, if you wish to cross the harbor to central or wanchai. nevertheless, sometime (when lazy to walk) a taxi was also taken to travel between kowloon and central sides. passing through cross-harbour tunnels would be more costly than using the mtr or the ferry, but still in a region of reasonableness. overall, i was truly satisfied with this particular stay at the luxe manor, a small (but luxurious and warmful service) hotel hidden at the heart of tsim sha tsui, hong kong.
business location, quiet rooms”
The Luxe Manor is located just a few minutes walk down Kimberley Road from Nathan Road, and in one of the busiest parts of Kowloon. Close to shops and restaurants it is a great place to stay. Tsim Sha Tsui MTR is 2 blocks (and about 10 minutes easy walk) and from there all of Hong Kong is accessible to you. The hotel itself is really good value. The rooms aren't the biggest around, but big enough with all the things you need. They are whisper quiet, and with super comfortable beds, you can expect a good night sleep. The in room air conditioning does rattle a bit, but it may not be a problem in milder months. The decor is said to be "avant grade". I would be inclined to describe it as a little quirky ... and a little tired. Housekeeping is great and everything is very clean. The hotel staff are very helpful and very friendly. Nothing seemed to be a trouble for them. It was a highlight of my stay. That said, you need to be careful that they understand what you are asking. While their spoken english is perfect, native english speakers may speak too quickly or with an accent that they don't entirely understand - and being so polite they may just say 'yes' instead of 'I'm sorry, I don't understand your question'. This is a problem throughout Hong Kong - at least in my experience. For eating, I would recommend the buffet breakfast at the hotel. Very good, and with a huge selection. If you are at the hotel for a few days, try the restaurant, although my experience wasn't great. I found the food to be bland and expensive. There are plenty of local restaurants nearby, and hidden away in a lane behind the hotel there are about 10 very good restaurants including European (mostly Italian) cuisine. I mentioned the MTR earlier in the review. This is a great way to get around. From Tsim Sha Tsui MTR it is just one stop to Jordan MTR and the Night Market and Jade Market, and 2 stops to the Ladies Market, sports and electronic stores around Yau Ma Tei MTR.
Comfortable and convenient”
The Luxe Manor deserves to be a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Room is very comfortable and big by Hong Kong standard. Food at breakfast has limited choices but can be really be filling. Although the hotel is fully booked, the limited number of staff will do everything to help you and make your stay comfortable. The best part of this hotel is it's location in TST. All attractions are accessible and within 5,10 mins walking distance (Canton Road, Avenue of the Stars, Harbour City, Ocean Terminal, Hong Kong Discovery Museum, Kowloon Park, shopping and dining options in Tsim Sha Tsui are limitless. Getting to and from the airport is also never a hassle. You can take the Airport Express HK 90.00 with complimentary shuttle to the hotel at Kowloon Station or for budget, conscious, you can take the Citybus A21 which has stop in Nathan Road just after Kimberley Road and it's mere 5,min walk to hotel. Would really go back.
Lovely small hotel and convenient location.”
I have stayed in much larger and more expensive hotels in Hong Kong during my visits to Hong Kong and the Luxe Manor is first boutique style hotel I ever stayed. Although it does not have a grand lobby, however one feels welcome to its stylist decor and of course by the warm welcome of the staff waiting at the entrance. I was efficiently checked in by a smiling staff. The breakfast served at the Finder was excellent. (although the music played was rather loud and off beat. a light classical piano pieces would have been more appropriate for breakfast). I shall certainly recommend to my friends when they visit Hong Kong a would like to stay in Tsim Sha Tsui area. I certainly shall be a happy return guest in the future.
Excellent Boutique Hotel”
The Luxe Manor is well-situated near to the busting area of Tsim Sha Tsui and is within 10 minutes' walk to the nearest MTR station. There are a lot of shops within walking distance of the hotel. The staffs were very friendly and they even provided a Handy phone for guests' use which definitely helped us saved the hassle of buying a SIM card ourselves. The décor of the hotel is quite fashionable and the beds were relatively comfortable. We also found the hotel's breakfast to be quite varied and delicious. The Luxe Manor is a hotel that we would recommend for visitors to Hong Kong.
pleasant & different to usual”
The hotel is in Tsim Sha Tsui which is a popular place among the locals and tourists. There are lots of shopping malls and restaurants around as well as the pleasant Kowloon Park. don't need to mention the most convenient public transport system in Hong Kong. at first I considered the Mira which is just opened and only few steps away but I thought the Luxe Manor has more characters. Its not just a modern chic place like most of the newly built hotels. The room I stayed was Studio, quite roomy and very comfortable for couple and the decoration is fantastic! altough the hotel is almost 4 years old but still in good shape, like new. carpets and bathroom are clean, not stained! Breakfast was good if you don't expect any local delicacy. staff are friendly and efficient. will definitely stay there again if I choose to be at Kowloon side next time.
Impressed by The Luxe Manor”
My girlfriend and I went to Hong Kong for holidays in July 2011. We considered many hotels located in city center of Hong Kong, especially Tsim Sha Tui. We finally chose The Luxor Manor because we heard that it won the best 6-stars boutique hotel prize. When we first arrived, we found its location easily. Even though the hotel is not next to the MTR station but it is not a long distance to walk from MTR to the hotel What we impressed the most about hotel is the design and character of the hotel. it combines the unique design and the styled character perfectly. Furthermore, the room is comfortable to spend your day in the room, not too tidy and the room is new and totally clean We spent our times at The Luxe Manor for 2 nights, we sure that we will come back there again the next time we got to Hong Kong
location and charm”
we stayed one night at the luxe manor on the 13th floor. the room itself is great and spacious for hong kong. however, our view was just okay. the location is fine for seeing hong kong and in fact anything in tsim sha tsui is convenient. morning buffet was okay, but not special; however, it was a buffet and of course having all you can eat is always good. the environment of the hotel is perfect for someone that wants to have a unique design for their room and not the typical hotel design. furniture and paintings on the walls, lamps, etc. are all interesting. we would definitely come back again. the hotel is not really 5 star, more like 4.5 or 4. but that does not mean bad at all. on the contrary, it's fine.
THE LUX MANOR EXPERIENCES”
The Lux Manor is a great hotel since I haven't been in Hong Kong. I was first please by the attention given by its staff members. They brought up our luggage which was heavy; the bell hop brought them up by hands without any handcart. Wow. The colors and the painted on fireplace with picture frames was nice touch. Studio rooms were excellent in size with queens size bed. We had also add on one day first, we started from the superior room which is smaller but cute and they help us move to the larger room, which was the studio which was large. Later we had add on two days; however, all the studio rooms were booked on the weekend, the manager did not ask us to move to the smaller room but insisted on us to stay put and did not charge us extra. All this was done from the hotel internet; the staff wanted us to save money. My experiences with The Lux Manor was great and priceless with their customer services. Lastly, the breakfast buffet was out of this world; great food, excellent services and great coffee. So whenever you are in Hong Kong give the Lux Manor a try.
The Luxe Manor is surprisingly brilliant.”
The Luxe Manor, is indeed a great little hotel. Dont be fooled by its small presence. It really makes the most of what it has available. Located conveniently within the streets of Tsim Sha Tsui nothing is beyond a few minutes walk. The attention to detail within the hotel makes all the difference. Located in the street behind the hotel was a great row of bars and restaurants. Hotel transfer with the connecting shuttle bus from the airport express train at kowloon station was also great. Decent service for something that is free. Only let down was the buffet breakfast. So i would suggest you skip the breakfast in the hotel and try some of the nearby eaterys instead. Cheaper and much much greater selection.
Great location great hotel”
I stayed at the Luxe Manor for 4 nights. It was in perfect position in Tsim Sha Tsui. Very close to Granville Road and Granville Circuit shopping, Ocean Terminal and the metro station. The service was great. They didnt charge for a late check out. The breakfast was very decent. The Find's restaraunt has a great menu and is well recommended on Trip Advisor. The Dada Lounge is nice for a drink and has various gigs on during the week. The rooms were always very clean. Mine was small but i was alone so it was fine. There are bigger rooms available. The bed was very comfortable. Great boutique hotel. Loved it!
"A Special Find in Town, Absolutely Fabulous"”
this is the best hotel i've stayed in hong kong over the past decade of visiting there! i grew up in hong kong and have stayed in very many different (4 starts) hotel. luxe manor is just uniquely lovely, tough a little quirky. staff are nice and helpful, room decor is bright and funky, which is a contrast to the surrounding streets and is very nice to return to after a whole day of roaming around the busy city. free wifi internet is a big bonus compared to a lot of other hotels. buffet breakfast was very good and more than adequate. 7-eleven and supermarket is just around the corner. very close to a huge variety of local eateries.... price of hotel is similar to other 4-star hotels in hong kong but the quality of stay is a lot higher (speaking from experience of staying in many different hotels both on the hong kong island and in kowloon). hightly recommended and we'll definitely stay there again.
Remarkable hotel experience”
The Luxe Manor gives me a memorable experience in the hotel living. The hotel decoration is uniquely designed and wisely decorated, the painting on the room wall and hallway are examples. The location is very convenience located in Nathan Rd., Tsim Tsa Tsui which suit my purpose, shopping. In addition, price is very reasonable and the promotion during the period I stay is very attractive, Stay 3 nights but pay only for 2 with breakfast is included. The hotel's Dada Bar is recommended to stop by. Undoubtedly, the decoration is gorgeous but what stunning me is the private function rooms, which decorated in different three themes, heaven, hell and eden. I wish I will have a chance to set up a special dinning experience there with my group of friends once in my life in the eden room (Thanks to the staff that allow us to view these stunning 3 rooms!). Of course, this is the hotel I prefer to stay again when I have a trip to HK. Also would like to recommend to the couple seeking for warm and romance hotel.
The best value for money 5 star hotelIn HK”
This is my third stay there. I tried a few other places but they no hotel compared to what I receive in the Luxe Manor for a relatively low price. The breakfast is superb. The staff are the friendliest ever. You will fall in love with them at first site. The rooms are clean, fully equipped and beautifully design. The locator in Tsim Sha Tsui is perfect. This is my new home on my visits to HK.
The luxe manor is just a stone throw away from tsim sha tsui mtr. Very convenient. They serve very good breakfast buffet and it's interior design is good. However, we were given suggestions to upgrade to a bigger room which means to say that the premier room is too small for a family of 2 adults and 1 child. We ended up having to top up $255+ for through upgrade which includes the child's breakfast. I like it that good suggestions are given but I find the upgrade too costly.
Boutique hotel with great location”
Had a great WE stay in the Luxe Manor. Design of the hotel is original, whole hotel is very clean. Room and bathroom are good size and all well decorated. No view since facing next building, but that's Hong Kong. Bed very comfortable. Maybe only negative about the room was aircon too cold even after temperature setting was adjusted. Breakfast has varied choices for Western and Asian style with good quality. And location is also great in heart of Tsim Sha Tsui area and close to MTR. I'd go back there next time in Hong Kong.
Great value for money”
We had a lovely stay at The Luxe Manor. The staff was super kind and helpful, Good Job! The rooms are pretty big for Hong Kong standards. The location in Kimberley road is really good. Close to MRT, shopping malls and some great restaurants. If its your first stay in Hong Kong, don't overestimate the distances on the map, Hong Kong is very small. (Walk from The Luxe Manor to MRT TST is a 5Minutes walk or less). Don't regret booking at all, would stay here again!
Everything about this hotel was great”
The architectural design of the Lux manor is different in every way from one room to the next,as my family have stayed here before, from the reception to the Da da Bar,is all designed differently, you get the feeling of not wanting to leave,The staff are absolutely Professional in every way you can find, always helpful & going out of there way to please & help you enjoy your stay at this magnificent master piece of a hotel. From the staff that greets you when you arrive to the staff that shows you up to your room, everything was explained about the hotel,& what was on offer to us as we stayed in one of the suite rooms, the Liason.the bed was comfortable, the whole room was comfortable, the service was first class,me & my wife celebrated our third Anniversary during our stay,& what the Hotel staff did for us was unforgettable,we look forward to coming back again in the near future.Me & my wife would like to thank some of the staff for making our stay very comfortable, you are all a credit to yourselves,& me & my family will see you all again one day, when we come back to your beautiful Country Hong-Kong.
nice clean rooms”
The Luxe Manor is the place to stay if you want clean, comfortable and nice rooms in Tsim sha tsui. Rooms are reasonably priced. Good Location, walking distance to Major shopping areas. Street not too busy. Good food just at the back of the Hotel at knutsford terrace.
