Great place near The Strip and convention center”
Affordable and great place to stay with enough parking area about 10-15 mins drive to The Strip. Offers a selection of breakfast which is beyond expectation for the hotel rate. Although the hotel structure is not new, it is spacious and well kept.
No coffee pot or microwave in the rooms!! The room was clean, sheets were clean. Pretty quiet property. The vending machine was out of order so we had to get a pop from the bar which was 4.75 for a can in a cup (size). Nothing's right next door but nothing a 5 or 10 min drive cant fix. Overall the stay was pleasant, I'd stay here again. Oh if your looking for a hotel with casino..the name will fool you only 10 slots lol
This hotel did not return disposit for me. I had to summit diposit 50$ by credit card. When checking out, the receitionist sad that deposit would be returned after 3 working days. But until now I have not received the deposit 50$. I lost 50$?
mardi gras excellent”
this hotel is well located there is a 7-11 and mcdonalds less than a block away. the rooms are large, there is a refrigerator and plenty of towels.there is a safe in the room and an ironing board.the hotel is on paradise boulevard off of the strip and quiet.you do not have to walk through a casino to get to your room and you can park your car next to the room.i have stayed here many times and recommend it as a good buy.
Cheap room rates, basic motel”
Water on the swimming pool is ice cold. So I don't understand why they're still charging their guests "resort fees" when you cannot even use that lone facility. Good thing they have a coin laundry and dryer. Restaurant is ok. I hope they'll put a safety deposit box inside the room and a microwave oven.
Nostalgic. Down to Earth. But very well kept . Rooms spacious. Efficient good old USA atmosphere.”
No pretentious glitz. Old school is good
Bill not provided”
During check out they promised that will email the bill but even after 5 days no bill is provided and will be difficult for business Traveller like me to cliam the funds. Please send me bill at least now. Thanks
If you just need a cheap place to lay your head”
The place was inexpensive, but I just felt a little un-safe. Seems like lots of illicit activities goes on AROUND the neighborhood of this location. Would i stay here again? Probably not if i didn't have to. It's not the end of the world to stay here, but i just didn't feel safe. Too many people in an out of the parking lot walking around throughout the night.
good price during the week thanks to Agoda”
The price that they proposed at the reception was 3times higher which would be too hight. But for the price we paid thanks to Agoda, it's really worth it. Most of the staff was really nice, except the one man that we met upon arrival who repeatedly made us feel like stupid underdeveloped Europeans (I'm IT manager and my girlfriend is a lawyer on a world tour) but we didn't react and went straight to our bedroom.
Impressed with the employees that work there”
The free airport shuttle was a lot of value for me. No showtime bus tours I do not have to wait 45 minutes to 1 hour after the appointment time from MCCARRAN airport anymore. The food at Mardi Gras cafe was very delicious. Ice available, convenient store in walkable distance but it is a far walk to the action on Las Vegas Blvd. The rooms have a bed and a sofa with a kitchenette. Very good value for what they offer. I was really impressed at the employees that work on the property.
Only good for convention centre”
The hotel is old and you can often hear the noise from the other rooms. If you really want to save some money and be next to the convention centre it's a good option (walking distance from there). Otherwise better go on the strip! It's not safe to walk in the alleys around it.
near las vegas convention center, big room”
staying for exhibition at las vegas convention center. the hotel looks more likely a motel. we arrived midnite due to flight delay, no body at front desk and need to call many times until somebody showed up.the room is big with double queen beds. The hotel is old but the room is quite tidy. I can not find remote for tv and the staff took 2 days just to give me the right one after many times of complain. they have slots machine and shuttle to take you to the strip every hour. they also provide shuttle to the airport. The breakfast was awful, better go to McD just 5 minutes walk. Also not a very nice neighborhood at night, many strangers around.
The Mardi Gras Hotel and Casino”
When we arrived in this hotel, we got so scared as the location is far away from the strip. theres only a few and VERY OLD slot machines. The staff i spoke with knew that the photos in agoda are very deceiving. They knew that Mardi Gras hotel is promoted in a very misleading way. I will never go back to this hotel again and i will tell all my friends to stay away from this hotel.
good value comfortable.easy parking access”
I liked the stay staff were friendly and helpful beds confortable like the fact that there is a kitchen with sink and fridge like the decor in the room. perfect access to my car and very good value for what your getting the resort fee is very reasonable compared to other hotels
It was a very decent hotel and great value for 66/night on Fri/Sat MLK weekend. A bit noisy from planes, people talking in parking lot, and neighbors but wasn't for too long and mostly quiet for the nights. Better than expected, very spacious like suite with living area/tv and kitchen with fridge. I will probably stay here again if price is right next time. TV remote was missing but they replaced it within 10 minutes at night. Didn't eat here so can't vouch for the food.
Clean, Convenient & Comfortable”
Very convenient location, fun small bar/casino area, comfortable mini-suite rooms by pool with jacuzzi. Only issue was that housekeeping was so adamant about cleaning the room despite the do not disturb sign on door.
Hotel Layout Great”
Stay at the hotel was pleasant. The hotel staff were very accommodating when I requested a rubber bath mat for the bathtub so that I felt safe. They were not able to provide me with the room location that I had reserved through Agoda but then I thought I was dealing directly with the Best Western and not a travel agency.
Good for the money”
If you want a good price for a room this will work for you. There are no frills here but the staff was friendly and the room and facilities were clean. No extras but I don't want to pay for extras, room ,bed and shower.
Budget priced hotel with no frills”
We were in Las Vegas for a convention and this hotel worked out well for us. It was a short cab ride to the convention center($10 one way including tip. You could walk if you wanted to but it is a distance - I did not want to walk at night). The room was clean, a little worn, but who cares if you are looking for a deal! The staff was great! The Mardi Gras is Within walking distance to a convenience store and fast food restaurant. Free shuttle to airport and to Bally's. Pool was clean, no wifi except in lounge/restaurant, had to get ice from the bar because ice machine was not working. The food in the restaurant was decent We would stay here again. For the price, the Mardi Gras was a home run, as along as you are not looking for luxury!!
We walked into the room and it was huge, we were very shocked because it was a very low price that we paid. the picture of the rooms are exactly what you get. it was great at night because you didn't even hear any one next door. Very quiet, and beds very comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel. Would stay there again.
