“Interesting stay”
We stayed here for 7 nights knowing that it was a little back from most things and on a busy road. On hindsight we should probably have stayed closer to the beach for our needs. The hotel is modern and clean and the staff are very helpful and welcoming. The hotel I would say is aimed at younger clientele imo. However there are a few things that would make a stay more comfortable in our opinion. Rooms Despite asking and having an engineer visit our room, we were unable to get the room Aircon below 18 degs c, as this is the minimum temperature set across the hotel. Until we asked there was no spare toilet roll supplied in our room. Access No handrails to help you up any of the exterior stairs or into the pool should you have mobility issues. There was a ramp, but again no rail to aid you off needed. Pool area Very beautiful modern pool area, but no rails to help you into/out of the pool, only needed at 1 point. No mattresses on loungers only on cabana type seats, would make a stay trying the pool more comfortable. Day passes -the hotel sells day passes to the pool!!. They're aren't enough loungers etc for hotel guests let alone visitors! There is also an issue in my mind of security. All hotel guests have passport/ID taken, do day visitors! General The hotel will fine you up to 5000bht if you smoke a shisha pipe but you can freely smoke cannabis at the smoking area at the pool! Not a pleasant smell when the wind is in the wrong direction, nor is it nice having guests high on cannabis around you. Mobile phone etiquette - please use headphones /ear buds. Not everyone wants to hear your conversation, listen to your tik tok /Facebook reel. Overall the hotel is very clean, modern and well maintained, with lovely staff, at reception, breakfast and front of house at the rooftop bar. Special mention to Nut, F&B trainee who got hubby's drinks spot on. Would I recommend the hotel? Possibly. Would we stay here again, sadly no.
