“Worst booking ever”
Let me give you some background in. Regards to this review. I have been to the metropolitan 2 or 3 times on the very first occasion. I was unable to pay the $200 security deposit. So the management refusing the right to refuse still went ahead. And allowed me to stay without paying the deposit. Not only that, I had an episode in my room. The following morning where staff was more than generous and fourthcoming with their assistance. I was recommended places nearby to go on the night before and would definitely write metropolitan as one of the best value for money, etc. But my last booking was horrid, I spent four hours trying to secure a two hundred dollar security deposit and was short changed due to agoda booking's elsewhere, tieing up my money. I therefore only had a hundred and forty dollars for the security deposit and spent the next five or six hours hunting down sixty dollars from anybody.Oh, good, i'm pleading with staff to just give me a break.As i've been rushed through hotels all day. Eventually, somebody arrived, and he had his girlfriend who had just been released from hospital with cancer. And they were also chasing a room that we're short of funds. So we decided that I would pay for the room and they could pay the deposit. And we could go to our room and after checking with management and assuring us that we could do this, we went ahead and pay the amount. Well, as soon as all payments were made, I turned with the room key to go up to the room and invited my new friends up that had paid the deposit. And the management refused them to go up saying that I am not allowed to have anybody up there. keeping in mind.This is a double room so I am a lad.Another one person where I invited up either of them.But management then would not allow me to have a visitor because it is now after nine p m.I had been there since six p m.And did not get into the room until twelve p m midnight. My new friends, I found out the next morning. Add to sleep on the street. Because this manager would not allow them to buy another room and wave. The two hundred dollar deposit that they'd already paid for me.Is this manager had a shortest?All of this would be sweet. I woke up my family. I woke up my mother in Sydney to get a credit card. They wouldn't take a credit card because they needed an authorisation and my mother couldn't work. The laptop, so they said, tough luck even though she was on the phone pleading with them as well for return to the posit. And to be quite honest, this manager needs to take a long walk of a short pair. I have never been so confused horrified, disgusted. An absolutely obscenely insulted at what I witnessed by this manager. Absolutely no empathy, no compassion, nothing. I would rate metropolitan hotel one of the best, but this manager needs to O and work in a dungeon somewhere. Where it can ruin other people's stays and lives. And my people offset As the ball girl from hospital was in.Tears, i'm absolutely horrified, how this man could has even given a front of office position is beyond me.
