“Thank you for your continued support.”

As I mentioned in my previous comment, it has been a year since I first visited here, and with this stay included, I have stayed here for over 50 nights in the past year. Since my work primarily involves remote tasks, I don't always need to be in Tokyo, and in-person meetings are limited to about once a month. Therefore, I try to visit my favorite Fukuoka during times when I can avoid meeting people for a while and spend time here. Friends have suggested that renting a room permanently in Fukuoka might be cheaper, and I looked into it myself. It is true that having a proper private room would allow for longer stays. However, setting up appliances and a certain level of furniture and internet environment requires effort, and there are many unknowns, such as utility costs, until you actually rent a place. After quantifying and comparing these factors, I concluded that staying at this facility offers better cost-effectiveness. What I particularly enjoy is that I have become accustomed to the hotel's proposed style of "sleeping in a pod and working in a coworking space." The flow of daily life during my stay is very smooth, and I can spend my time at my own pace. Occasionally, there are concerns about cleanliness due to other guests, but overall, the cleanliness of the facility is very well maintained, providing a safe environment for use. What is especially wonderful is that the staff are always kind and sincere in their responses. I truly appreciate that whenever I point something out, they always take some form of action. Given the nature of this type of accommodation, the main areas for improvement revolve around cleanliness, but compared to when I first used the facility a year ago, there has definitely been improvement, and I can see the facility's efforts. While it is rare for things to be messy or dirty due to other guests, I understand that it is not the facility's responsibility. There are many minor details to mention, such as the darkness inside the pod, but I think improving them would require considerable costs, so the current situation is adequate. However, the noise from opening and closing the pod's roller blinds is surprisingly loud and sometimes wakes me up. If there is an opportunity to replace them in the future, I would appreciate a quieter option. The coworking space on the second floor is also very convenient, and I always find it easy to use. Regarding the Wi-Fi, it seems that the current speed has a limit of about 10Mbps, but I can watch Netflix in high definition, so I feel it's sufficient as it is. If possible, raising it to around 20Mbps would make streaming even more comfortable. I look forward to your continued support.

“I highly recommend it for those traveling alone!”

First of all, the location is great! It's situated at a midpoint where you can walk to Tenjin and Hakata, and right next door are Ichiran's main branch, Seven-Eleven, Family Mart, and Don Quijote. As soon as I arrived in Fukuoka, I dropped off my luggage at the accommodation and ran straight to Ichiran, getting in without waiting even a second! I booked a nearby tour and used the Tenjin bus terminal, and I didn’t feel unsafe walking alone as a woman early in the morning or late in the evening (there were many Korean tourists, and a Tenjin business center nearby). Most importantly, the accommodation is right in front of the subway station, so you can take the airport line straight from Fukuoka Airport, and by using just the airport line, you can tap a regular bank card like a transportation card, making it very convenient. Moreover, it’s clean! There’s a reason it’s a bit more expensive than other capsule hotels. I consider the bathroom to be the most important aspect, and I never had to wait, plus it was very sanitary. Also, even though there are peak times in the shower area, I never had to wait to take a shower. I’ve been to many hostels and guesthouses around the world, and the shower facilities here were the best. There's even a separate space inside the shower booth to put your belongings, and they have all the shower supplies and toothpaste/toothbrush readily available. Furthermore, the bed is great. You can adjust the angle, and if you set an alarm, it changes to a sitting position automatically. The lighting brightness can also be adjusted. I found the dimmest setting just right, as I was too scared to turn the lights off completely. Of course, there are some downsides! First, the space is separated by curtains, and the sound of raising and lowering the curtains is louder than expected. On the first day, I couldn’t adapt and woke up 2-3 times during the night. If you are sensitive to noise like rustling bags or curtain sounds, this might not be the place for you. Secondly, there is a lot of dust. This isn’t because it’s dirty from lack of cleaning, but the structure where the capsules are located has no windows and can’t be ventilated, so when the staff change bedding and clean, dust flies everywhere. However, it’s not bothersome since I’m usually out during the cleaning times, so it’s not visible! In summary, I highly recommend it unless you’re traveling in a large group! I noticed many couples and two friends also came, so it's that good!

    “Comfortable stay”

It was a nice first experience at a capsule hotel. The bed was large and the system was easy to use. I think there could have been more luggage storage space below the bed, and maybe a lock to lock the capsule. Otherwise, the stay was great.

    “First capsule hotel experience ”

The millennials fukuoka has completely impressed me! Modern, clean and advanced in technology. An introvert's dream where I absolutely loved the mobile access portal :) I could preorder breakfast, contact reception and find out more about the facilities available all from the mobile access portal. I had issues with my safe and contacted the 24hr reception via the portal, had a response within a few minutes and the staff quickly came to my pod to help fix it. The sofa bed is so smart, easy to use and comfortable. Toilets are clean, loved the thoughtfulness about how the individual shower cubicles had wet and dry areas. Only gripe will be that the pods are not locked, only had a blind that could be closed so would not recommend leaving valuables behind while you're out! Overall, an unexpected splendid experience which impressed me, a fantastic first experience of a capsule hotel!

“Good hotel with very kind staff”

I first booked a bed in the all gender room but because I had a bad encounter with another guest and didn't feel safe anymore they made it possible (and with a little luck because someone else cancelled last minute) for me to move into the all female room for the rest of my stay. I felt very comfortable and they understood my concern and made sure to find a solution. They also offered me to refund everything and check out which is very considerate! The hotel is clean and the location is very central. It's easy to get around from here. The only thing is that the lounge is sometimes booked for events, which is not always super convenient because there is no other real place to eat or rest outside your room but in the hotel. However, when you explore the city during the day you won't have much issues with that.
