Hospitality Excellence at its best”
The guesthouse is excellently decorated, very comfotable beds and room sizes big. I think it should be five star rated. The staff are well trained on how to receive and take care of guests. Linda the manager is exceptionally a very warm person. I love Mulner and always look forward to staying in their facilities. I wish they had facilities in PE and Port Afred.

We were in town for a horse show and this was an exceptional place for us to stay. With three kids, ages 7-13, the space on the verandah and lovely garden was especially nice, as we didn't feel cramped at all. So happy with the large room we had. Easy to come and go, lovely common areas, and the honor bar was appreciated. Accommodation, furnishings and linens are absolutely lovely and the staff is fantastic. Linda is a wonderful asset to this lovely guest house. The only minor disappointment was breakfast. The table and set-up is very nice but the actual food is quite basic and definitely not up to the level of everything else. The french toast is made with basic store bought brown bread and the rest of the menu feels the same. A nice fruit bowl and simple cold cereal was available, but having some nice bread or fresh croissants with a good cheese plate would be great for those needing to get something quickly before heading out early. Overall great and will definitely stay here again!

Sensationell schönes Haus, super Zimmer, Garten, Wohnzimmer etc. Jedoch waren die Mitarbeiter sehr sehr unfreundlich - willkommen gefühlt haben wir uns zu keiner Zeit. Schade!

The Milner ligt in het centrum van het universiteitsstadje Grahamstown. Het interieur van het gebouw straalt de grandeur van een rijk koloniaal verleden uit. Bij het binnenkomen in het salon en in de kamer is de eerste indruk overweldigend. Het gebouw, de tuin en het zwembad liggen er piekfijn bij. Het personeel is discreet, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt is correct. Er zijn erg weinig gasten en wij mogen quasi privaat van de sfeer en alle faciliteiten van het hotel genieten. Top! Jammer dat Grahamstown een banaal plaatsje is waar heel wat bezienswaardigheden niet (meer) toegankelijk zijn. In december zijn de studenten met vakantie en is de stad helemaal uitgestorven... Grahamstown zelf is hooguit een tankstop waard. In de regio liggen enkele wildparken die dagbezoeken toestaan. Voor wie bij de wilde dieren op visite wil is dit adres een aanrader voor één overnachting. Voor wie in alle rust een boek wil lezen is een verblijf van enkele dagen een goed idee.
