Great location, great facilities”

We stayed at The Mira for 5 days and if there's one thing that I absolutely love about it is the location. The rooms are great, and is expected of a luxury hotel. But what I really rave about The Mira is how close it is to everything that a traveler will need. It's smack in the middle of Tsim Sha Tsui, and is close to a lot of shopping malls like The Mira Place, The One, Harbour City Centre, etc. It's also very close to the MTR and the AREX bus stop. But I go to Hong Kong not just for shopping but to enjoy the food, and it's one of the reasons why The Mira is the perfect choice. It's so close to my favorite Kai Kee Restaurant, Yum Cha, Din Tai Fung, the Michelin resto at The Mira Place and the Michelin recommended egg waffle store. The facilities are also superb! My son loves the heated pools, and I absolutely enjoyed the wellness lounge which we were able to have access to for free as it comes with the booking. We will definitely stay there again.

Modern Hotel in Good Location”

Excellent location, near metro, near shopping district, very clean, helpful staff, good facilities

The Mira Hotel is a modern 5 star hotel in a very convenient location of Hong Kong. Situated on the Kowloon Peninsula in Tsim Sha Tsui, it is close to everything that you would want to visit in HK. 5 minute metro ride and you are on Hong Kong island. 5 minute metro ride and you are at the jade/goldfish/night markets. The rooms themselves are decorated in a very modern fashion and they are how all modern hotel rooms should be equipped. I was quite happy with my stay, however one thing I did not enjoy was the view. I was expecting lots of 'city lights' in my city room, but basically I could just see the building across the street. But you won't get much different in HK unless you stay on the harbour, which will cost 3 times more. The Mira was good value.

Perfect Location, superb service & clean rooms”

Service, Hotel design, location

first of all i chose this hotel because i wanted to have easy access to the airport and the mtr station in order to take business trips to/from china. the mira was the perfect hotel for this purpose. traveling to/from the airport required taking the airport express to kowloon station and then either a taxi for $hkd30+ (depending on pieces of luggage/traffic) or if i was slightly less lazy i could take the free airport bus to one of the nearby hotels and walk 2 minutes to the hotel. in terms of access to the station, it's only a 3 minute stroll down nathan road to tsim sha tsui station. secondly the hotel is a boutique design hotel which is my preference for hotels, being a designer myself and appreciating well considered design layout & products in a hotel. the room itself was a standard studio room so i didn't expect it to be as fancy as the larger ones. for what it was it was clean, neat, and i liked the little details such as the nice tv with welcome message & internet, the cordless phone, the well designed water bottles they give you, the nice strong shower with optional built in 'rain shower' in the ceiling. the room itself wasn't exactly new (which i could see by looking at the floor boards & bathroom floor) but it was still well kept enough to not bother me - usually i am very particular about these things. thirdly the service at the mira was superb. one doesn't find this out until they need help and they were certainly beyond helpful when i had lost something & they did their best to track it down at all the locations i mentioned that it might be at (airport, taxi, train, etc). this they did without complaint & stepped even beyond the mark when i emailed them to check another location after i'd checked out of the hotel already and returned home. there is also a good selection of dining options at the mira, including their michellin starred restaurant. without a doubt if you can, please stay at the mira h

Amazing chic & modern hotel with great facilities”

Modern, free wi-fi, friendly staff and great gym!

we had a great stay at the mira hotel towards the last leg of our trip. situated a short walk from exit b of tsim sha tsui station, the hotel is ideally located for shopping, nightlife and access to transport. we were greeted with friendly and knowledgable staff who assisted us during our entire stay. the concierge was particularly helpful with 2-3 concierges available to answer any questions we had. if they didn't know the answer, they're more than happy to search the internet for you. the my mira phone service attended to all of our requests promptly, for example if we requested to change pillows, request for another chair for our room, iron and ironing board or any other questions about the hotel facilities, they were more than happy to help - which helped us make the most of our stay. we particularly loved the gym and fitness area which featured some reputable gym equipment brands such as technogym and life fitness and had a plethora of machines to use at our disposable. far more comprehensive than most hotel gyms. lastly, the hotel buffet breakfast costs about $ hkd and features a great mix of eastern and western cuisine which makes it difficult to choose what to place on your plate! i did however, have a slight bout of minor food poisoning from the shumai pork dumplings which made me feel ill for half the day but i didn't want to let this damper on my stay at this amazing hotel. overall the hotel is very modern and chic, very affordable with great facilities, which ticks all our boxes and for that reason i give it 4 and a half out of 5. will definitely return next time we're in hong kong.

Nathan Road Landmark Reinvented”

Location Location!

Hong Kong is a mere 1 hour and 40 minutes flight away from Manila so it is a frequent destination for me and my family. We visit this vibrant city at least once a year and love going the week after Christmas. My first time to Hong Kong was when I was a 7 year-old kid and this was known back then as the Miramar. In recent years we used to stay in another hotel in Kowloon, but for the past 5 years we have been making The Mira more of our family choice the past 5 years. Every year we come back there is always something new added. It is super clean, modern and ultra chic, the bathrooms with glass walls, wi-fi everywhere...Beds are very comfortable. This is very important because in Hong Kong you have to walk a lot. (Choosing your hotel based on it "being just to sleep for the night" does not really apply to Hong Kong) I like the convenience of having a cell phone in each room, which allows the guest to make room to room calls; communicate with each other for free (perfect for families) while going around the city, and is an easy way to for people to contact you...certainly very convenient as we usually go our separate ways with my teenage daughters around; a money saver tool ; no need to depend on your mobile phone on international roaming! The Mira is across Knustford Terrace on Kimberley Road which has a Ben & Jerry's Ice cream on the ground floor, and an array of restaurants, and cozy bars, steak houses, restos serving Spanish tapas, Italian food,Mexican, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese restos; it's a great alternative for those who find the area of Lan Kwai Fong in Central too far , should you want a little night life. This place gets packed , yet this is what adds to Knutsford Terrace's charm. It is not in a typical building, and most of the bars /restos give the clients a choice of either staying in an open air area or inside. Really charming and picturesque at night!!

Good Hotel with Excellent Location”

Hi-tech rooms, modern and stylish decor, superb location
Sparse lobby

The Mira is located right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui with access to numerous eateries, shopping malls and stores. The MTR station is literally two blocks away. If you are lucky, you can have rooms overlooking Kowloon park and a portion of the HK skyline. The rooms are the most high-tech I have ever seen. They come equipped with a Sony LCD TV which can also turn into your personal computer accessed with a sony wireless keyboard. It also has a blueray DVD player, Bose IPod dock and speakers in the bathroom with volume control. Each room also comes equipped with its own cell phone which the guest is permitted to use by paying call charges. The service is great and the staff are very helpful and made my stay comfortable. I had requested for early check-in but the hotel was full and I was made to upgrade to the club rooms for immediate access. This cost me an additional $80. I have rarely had this problem at other hotels and this was the only sticking point during my stay. The hotel has a very nice pool area for a swim or just to relax. The lobby is very modern but there is almost no furniture and seating area. It appears like a huge void. Overall, my stay was pleasant and I wish to return to The Mira on my next trip.

Great Location”

Design of the hotel

It's my second stay in The Mira and of course it's good enough for me to pay a second visit. My daughter likes the design of the hotel very much so she always want to stay in The Mira every time we visit HK. The location is good too. It's near the MRT station and there's always flow of people around that area because i only go with my daughter so this actually secure our safety. Furthermore, there's so many shopping malls around such as The One just a few steps from The Mira, Miramall just beside The Mira, Mirama just opposite The Mira and a whole street of brand outlets across the street. The Mira located a great location in Tsim Sha Tsui. There's indoor swimming pool in The Mira and also Sky Garden. I'll definitely recommend you to stay there

Nice location and attentive staff”

Centrally located, friendly service, good room service, close to MTR

stayed here for a couple of nights with my mum on a shopping trip - wanted somewhere close to the shopping district and boy did we get it right! the mira is really centrally located, right in the middle of tsim sha tsui, next to two biggish malls and surrounded by street after street of street shops selling clothes, shoes, bags, food, trinkets.. if you're up for a walk there's also good shopping along the way uptown towards the ladies' market (and of course in the market itself). the rooms were nicely newly renovated, clean and modern looking with really fluffy comfy beds and a city view. the room we had was on the small side but well-stocked, everything (safe, hair dryer, mini fridge etc) tucked away very compactly in drawers here and there. staff were really attentive, from reception to the guy who brought our bags up and gave us a little tour of the room, the guy who brought our room service, the cleaning staff, the concierge..all friendly and humoured our random requests for more soap/bedroom slippers, helping us store our bags after check out etc. there's lan and wifi in the rooms, but for some reason the wifi connectivity in our room wasn't consistent/great, and alot of the time we had to stand near the door to get a signal. food wise we had a late night room service binge of burgers and wan tan mee, which were pretty scrumptious! we also tried cuisine cuisine, their one michelin starred dim sum restaurant, but didn't think it was anything to write home about. probably better off getting your dim sum fix elsewhere.. all in all a good experience and my mum has already recommended the hotel to a few friends.

Clean, Chic & Convenient ”

Upon arrival, the staff at the Mira were so friendly to help me check the room availability to make sure I won't be waiting for my room for too long (I reached the hotel at 8am, afterwards went for jogging and back at the hotel at 2pm and the room was ready.) The Mira staff also provided insightful suggestions of where to go and how to go, which makes my jogging experience more enjoyable. The room is clean and chic, most importantly, with a fantastic view of Kowloon Park (I stayed in Parkview Room) either in the day or at night. This hotel is for whoever loves exploring the streets at TST or even across the harbour to Hong Kong Island via Star Ferry (just less than 10min walk from the hotel to Star Ferry Pier.) The room has everything that a traveller needs and I believe the staff are more than willing to help if any guest has further requests. The staff are just responsive and helpful. I will definitely choose The Mira again during my next stay in TST, Hong Kong.

Fantastic - highly highly recommend!”

Position, super quiet & beautiful rooms/showers, pool area is awesome, service was the best.

The Mira was excellent, wouldnt hesitate to go back or recommend to anyone. We researched LOTs of hotels for our first trip to Hong Kong, we decided on the Mira for its position and what photos we had seen.Itsin the middle of everything, close to the MTR,waterfront, markets, you never need to take taxi's. The staff were excellent and the free water everyday and free wi-fi was fantastic. The room very well appointed, quite big and great bathroom/shower. We never heard a thing when we were in our room. The staff recommended "aqualuna" - old chinese junk, which was soooo fantastic to see the harbour and light show, highly highly recommend (we went twice!). Then they recommended Hutong restuarant - which was by far the best restaurant we went to - amazing views and the hot chilli prawns were awesome! The Mira Spa was excellent and pool area is so relaxing and beautiful. The food in the buffet and the a la carte at Yamm were also fabulous and the bar (room 1) was also great after a night on the streets trying to find somewhere to have a drink (not that easy!). Overall - room was great, bed was so comfortable we nearly missed daytime!, staff were great, hotel looks beautiful, food was fantastic - we would recommend to anyone!

Excellent location, Outstanding customer service”

Cordless phone that you can take from the hotel during the day, Gym & Sauna, Shopping Mall

From the moment we arrived, the hotel welcomed us warmly, as they did with every guest that stepped into the sophisticated reception. Our stay with Mira was excellent and would recommend anyone to stay at this wonderful hotel. It is very central, with a shopping mall located inside, the rooms are sleek and stylish, the pool is immaculate including gym area, day spa, steam room and sauna. The customer service level of The Mira was absolutely outstanding, with all employees going out of their way to accommodate and please each and every guest. One thing in particular that my partner and I appreciated was a mobile phone located in every room, in which the hotel allows you to borrow during the day outside the hotel. This was very helpful as we were unable to use our iPhones, and it made our trip much more convenient when we needed to meet with friends. A few other good things in regards to the hotel was location - close to MTR station. Central to variety of shops and shopping malls. Comfortable bedding and modern rooms. The next time we decide to visit hong kong, Mira will defiantly be on the cards, although we didn't use the hotel to as much advantage as we could of during our 3 busy days, the time spent there was 10/10. Thank you making our holiday pleasurable and satisfying.

Love place for newly wed”

High tech hotel, reasonable price, ideal for shopping trip, friendly staff

I travel to Hong kong about two to three times a year in the past 4 years. In term of accommodation in Hong Kong, it is either too small, too expensive or inconvenient for shopping until I checked in to Mira hotel recently. The first impression to make me fill good was that it was located near my frequent shopping areas, it is also few minutes work from the nearest MTR. The second surprise was the "high tech" features in the good size room, such as massage features in the shower cubicle, smart TV, room arrangement and comfortable king size bed. Staff in this hotel were friendly. Cinema, 711, eateries, hair salon were within walking distance. In particularly, I would like to mentioned a concierge staff by the name of Johnie who had been very helpful throughout my stay especially assist me to rearrange my flight schedule back home. He was not only know his job well, he also very humble and attended to need wholeheartedly. I would definitely to visit him and thanks him during my next visit to Hong kong to show my thankfulness for his help. I am very satisfied with this room and I would like to rank in number 1 as most ideal hotel I ever stayed in the past 4 years.

location is fantastic, hotel design, facilities top notch, helpful english speaking staff

i was very happy with my stay at the mira and would very highly reccommend. as you enter the hotel in the large lobby you are greeted by friendly door staff and reception. rooms are modern, very clean, good size and beds comfy. in room technology.. internet was free and you large flat screen tv also act as pc screen, bose ipod dock. in the bathroom you will find music and tv controls so you may relax whilst in the tub. bathroom wall is made of glass but has privacy blinds that close at the press of a button. the hotel has a beautiful large pool and jacuzzi but also separate facilities for men and women. these include change rooms, steam room, sauna, hot spa pool, showers. the mira spa also offers beauty services and massages open till late.. i had the mira melt massage at 10pm with hot stones which was bless and got me realxed ready for a good night sleep! i would definately stay here again.. a hotel in the heart of busy nathan road very close to the mtr which is very easy to navigate. for tourists wanting to get rounf the city for a day i would reccommend buying the tourist day pass for 55 hong kong dollars it give you 24 hrs and you can use on all mrt lines except airport express. th eticket also comes with discount vouchers for the giant buddah and disney land and more.

Room is well equiped with everything you need

very much enjoyed my stay at the mira, the hotel is ideally located in the center of nathan road at tsim sha tsui district and the mtr station is within short 4-5 minutes walk from the front door. the room was relatively small but very well organized with everything you need. great computer / audio system connected to 50” screen but since there aren’t any instructions you need to learn how to operate it by yourselves which is a somehow challenging. hotel service is great, staffs are very helpful and every request answered immediately.

Futuristic hotel with service excellence!”

Interior design and services are the best you can find in Hong Kong!
The water heater always have problem

Mira hotel is the award winning hotel with the futuristic and cozy feeling that gave me the best stay in Hong Kong. Their receptionists can speak fluent english and gave provide the guests with their service excellence and the most helpful, efficient and polite service that cater to our individual needs. The room service served very good Wanton noodles and ice-cream waffles. The hotel also has a very pleasant smell of the air refresher. I simply love this hotel and will definitely patron it in the next visit to Hong Kong and I hope that there will be more Mira hotel worldwide, so that everytime I travel I can get to stay in the fabulous hotel.

Luxury Hotel”

Room was big - Bed & resting area with sofa, clean, neat & everything was in place. Very nice indoor musically inclined swimming pool with Spa, Onsen & Sauna and fully equipped and clean toilet. For swimmers, pool was great with 2.8m depth. Just outside the hotel was Don Don: Donki where you can shop for many Japanese food & items. Also from hotel lift you can easily access to MIRA 1/2 where you can shop till your heart drop. Staffs speak good English, very caring & helpful. 5 mins walk to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR.

Well located within Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon”

Location

Snazzy design hotel, with top notch fittings and elements. What would appear boutique is a fairly large hotel with close to 500 rooms. A very busy hotel due to its great location within Tsim Sha Tsui. Shopping, restaurants and bars are within convenient reach. The Metro/subway is less than 5 minutes walk away. The standard rooms feel small and the room height is noticeably low...although it seems that it very normal in dense Hong Kong. Overcame it with nice design to even incorporate a bathtub. Hot and strong showers with Bose iPod piping sounds into bathroom. Generally a nice room, well designed within space constraints. Negatives: Room feels and smells damp, due to insufficient ventilation. Check-out. Facilities: Well kitted out gym and 25m heated pool on basement level. Spas are also located on this level. F&B: Good vaariety. Enjoyed the 'courtyard' or central atrium bar. Worth a visit for a nice quiet evening cocktail.

Excellent hotel in great location”

Location is my number one on the list when choosing Mira hotel, going outside either left, right or straight is the main road of Tsim Sha Tsui. MTR station between 2 minutes walk. My room is city room, quite big for HK standart, bed and linen so soft and comfortable, nothing to complain. I'll definitely visit again if the price is right.

BEST STAY IN HONG KONG”

STRATEGIC LOCATION,AFFORDABLE PRICE,SUPERB STAFF

We were on our 1st honeymoon when we visited hong kong and the staff at THE MIRA was fantastic at making our stay a memorable one. The staff speaks fluent english and was very helpfull in everything you asked of them. Location of the hotel is very strategic and near to the mtr and bus stop. We tried to dine at WHISK and Cuisine Cuisine. Both restaurants are good. I personally love the dim sum served at cuisine cuisine. Summary of the stay is we will definitely stay at the MIRA again if we visit HONG KONG in the future. Thanks THE MIRA HOTEL!
