In order to provide guests with a diversified accommodation experience, five different styles of lodging spaces have been planned. There are currently [Tranquil] in operation and [The Moment Hotel Hualien by Lakeshore] in the warm-operating stage. The Moment Hotel Hualien still has some construction works undergoing, the entire property is also under continual development, and there will be ongoing construction works in the surrounding area. We apologize for the inconvenience that might be caused, and we are looking forward to providing better services and new experiences to our guests.
A Sustainable Journey. Lakeshore Hotel Group is leading the green initiative to create a more eco-friendly hotel experience. Beginning July 1st, 2023, we will only provide shower gel, shampoo, hand wash and towels in the guest rooms. All other disposable, one-time use toiletries will not be provided and we kindly encourage you to bring your own. Thank you for helping us reduce our carbon footprint and improve our sustainability efforts.

This hotel is new with modern amenities. I had a room on the fifth floor, with lovely views of the mountain and ocean from the balcony. We were able to walk to the beach in a couple of minutes. The room felt very luxurious. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom very clean and modern with heated bidet toilet seats! There is no restaurant in this hotel, but it has a large DIY kitchen and options to order meal kits to cook, which we did not try. Instead, we went to the restauant at the Lakeshore hotel, next door for dinner. Best meal I had in Taiwan on my trip! The food and the service was five-star quality, but at reasonable prices. There was even live music by a guitar player/singer at the bar/lounge area during the meal. Breakfast buffet is also offered, but cost is much higher so we did not try it this time. I would definitely stay here again.

The room is clean and spacious. Though it’s a self-help hotel, travelers are still able to enjoy the great and efficient service from Lakeshore Taroko. It would remain as my first choice when I come back Hualien next time.

Overall rating:3 out of 5 Room - nice and clean. However it's not really a beach facing hotel, the so called sea vew is very very distant. Pool: weird rules, the safety guard is standing there fully clothed in suit pants and sneakers watching people all the time. Have never seen this in any Asian hotel. What was absolutely unbelievable he approached and said to me that I should not sit on the edge of the hot water pool, I should enter the water, because other people would think that I am taking a foot bath. So idiotic. Lication: 20-25 mins from the train station and there's nothing nearby, the nearest 7-11 is 700 m away. The beach: not for swimming and no facilities. But ok for a walk. Breakfast: served in a lunchbox, bolied cabbage, rice, fat pork and a smallish roll. For 100 USD you can stay in a luxury 5 star hotel even in Japan, but in Taiwan, such hotels like this one are supposed to be common.

Trendy budget hotel, value for money. We stayed in a room with two double beds, and was impressed with the cleanliness and comfortable room. Self check in and out, so need to check your mailbox for instructions. We checked in late around 10pm, a bit tricky to figure out how to get into the hotel and we have no key card access, but lucky a hotel customer was going out so we could access the main door to the lobby to do self check in. Otherwise the stay was perfect

We had the best stay at The Moment. Although the location was a little far from the city, with a car it was no problem. The beach just next to it was beautiful and not crowded. We had the six bedded room and it was simply such a pleasant experience. The facilities are good and well maintained and also of good quality. We found out on the last day that the drinks and snacks were also absolutely free and they were of good quality. The room was very quaint, well designed and comfortable. Everything was done very thoughtfully and conveniently by this hotel. Highly recommended!
