Pleasant surprise, Made me happy”
I was astonished at the layout of the entire hotel. I did not expect it to be a hotel of bungalows (intead was expecting a high-rise). There's not very much to be done in Nay Pyi Taw as far as touristy activities but I expect this will change given the lead up to the SEA Games tthis year and the marvellouis scale of building in the neww Capital. The hotel is close (5 mins taxi) to 2 large supermarkets and not far from one of the main coach terminals. This hotel is highly recommended if you just want to relax or if you are on business in the Capital and might be staying a long period of time. Its almost a home.

A very new hotel wwith excellent service”
The Myat Mingalar is a lovely new hotel. The rooms are actually in bungalows around the extensive site. If you don’t want to walk to the main building for the restaurant & reception, there are trolleys which will be brought to your door a couple of minutes after requesting one. The hotel had very few residents while we were there but all services were very good. It is a good stopping point between Yangon and Inle Lake, Bagan or Mandalay.

Professional Staff with Integrity”
Upon checkout, I left my passport and a large quantity of money in my room safe and travelled back to Yangon by road. The hotel realized this and got in touch with me to let me know. I was already half way to Yangon, so I arranged for a friend to collect my passport and money to return it to me. The Myat Mingalar staff were very concerned and followed up with me to ensure that I received my passport and that all the money was accounted for. It was! I was truly impressed with the professionalism, honesty and integrity of the staff.

good standard”
The staff were very friendly, maybe sometimes a tick to friendly. But the food was not more than average. The rooms very great, big and nice design, spacy bathroom. For Nay Pyi Taw it was centrally located, but of course that still means there is nothing else around, other than some other hotels, if you go there you should have a car to your disposal.

Beautiful hotel -- unusually well appointed room”
We were upgraded to a suite because the standard rooms were booked full with an international conference on disaster management. On arrival, the hotel manager honored our Agoda booking and price and gave us a beautiful room. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked a second night via Agoda, with the understanding we likely would need to move to a standard room. The hotel was again fully booked and we enjoyed a second night in the suite. Hiring a driver for the day to do sight seeing was 50k kyat. The hotel helped us organize. Just call reception and ask for them to arrange Ngyi Ngyi. 2k kyat for taxi to Junction Center, a modern mall nearby the hotel with a middle class food court in the basement serving HK dim sum and good myanmar noodles. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and fresh with Mynmar and English/European options. Only downside was dinner via room service. I ordered an Indian meal (the duty manager offered Tandoori chicken in place of the Indian option listed on the menu) and was served some leftover Chinese food. My partner ordered fried noodles with squid and vegetables. Again, cold noodles i assume were pulled from buffet leftovers. Probably this was related to the big group conference at the hotel but for 16usd, we were disappointed by the food. This is a shame considering the quality of the food in myanmar and the exceptionally high standards of his hotel otherwise.

Comfortable”
The staff tried hard but do not appear to have the same level of training or support as other hotels that I have used in Nay Pyi Taw.

New Hotel in Bungalow configuration”
Hotel is very new with bungalows. Hotel staff helps with golf cart to take you to your bungalow. Nice breakfast included. A very good golf course is located across the street and the hotel staff will take you there by cart. The capital city is very spread out so not anything very close. Good place for business visitors.

Large luxury rooms and good dining”
Food was quite good and so was the internet. This is a good business hotel, although the distance of the walks from the bungalows to the main hotel areas is about 10-15 mins depending on where your room is.

Another great stay at a reasonably priced hotel. The breakfast needs a bit of a shakeup, however.

This Research format is too bad”
I select the Language for writing the this report. But, I could't enter the text of Japanese over 5 characters. At the English, when mouse cursor move to the midfield and insert only one character, cursor always skip to the last of line.

What can you say about a hotel in NPT”
This was our 2nd stay in a Naypyitaw hotel, had stayed at the Royal previously. Both are situated in the "Hotel Zone". It looks like around 6 or 7 hotels are open for business with a further 4 under construction. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the rooms are not too bad, but no safe as advertised. There is Presidential suite that looks like an 8 bedroom house. Do not expect too much
