Family Bed & Breakfast”
Travelling in group of 3, we are lucky to find the Studio room in this place. The room is spacious and completed with amenities for 3 person. The price is included bfast start from 8-10am with a'la carte selection. They can assist you with halal bfast and take away if you had to leave before the bfast terace is open. This place is owned by family and they are very helpful and welcome to the guests. They could give advice and suggestion on anything. 2 minutes walk from BTS Saphan Taksin and 7-11 store. Just 2 doors away you can find a massage service. Recommended after all day walking around in Bangkok. Suggestion; As I like to drink warm water in the morning, it will be nice if they can provide electronic kettle in the room.

Intense, constant highway noise meters away”
You would not know this from the photos on Agoda but this hotel is directly next to a busy highway and elevated train track as well as a surface street in addition. Most of the rooms are either slightly below eye level or slightly above eye level with an elevated highway only nine or so meters away; you are looking directly at it. So all night long you are hearing trucks, motorcycles, buses and cars a few meters from your window. And until about midnight you are also hearing the elevated mass transit trains (the Bangkok sky train BTS). When the building was converted to a hotel they unwisely did not use multi-pane glass windows or shutters; these are ordinary single pane windows without noise absorbing curtains. There is a pleasant outdoor patio used for breakfast (very good) but it is closed promptly at 10 am. Other than that there is no outdoor space. I did not see any comfortable user-friendly lounge area, but there may have been one closed off somewhere. On the positive side, cleanliness was close to perfect. Renovations were recent, so everything looks nice inside. But for about the same money nearby you can get a pool, outdoor patios, lounges, and much quieter rooms.

Great Hotel”
During our 3 week trip to Thailand this was our last stop and it was the best! This family owned hotel has so much pride and history u can feel it when u walk in the door. The rooms were spacious and soooooo clean. The breakfast was amazing and they made sure we were full. My wife took a tour of the hotel to get the history of the building and she really enjoyed it. The family really made us feel welcomed and we will definitely be back. Look no further this is the hotel you want!!!

Revitalized heritage building with great location”
Very helpful host who is willing to wake up at 01:30 for the late check-in and speaks fluent english, though not other staff. Building has an amazing history, and is very near to metro and river transport. Breakfast is of home-made type and is made to one's order and is great.

Good location and friendly staffs”
Close to BTS, pier and variety of foods stalls and shops steps away. Room very clean and the staffs are all very helpful. The only problem Agoda did not include the hotel phone number, so the taxi from airport unable to locate the hotel and take us round and round. We took taxi at 3pm and reached hotel at 8pm. So disapointed and please in future to add in the hotel contact number.

A comfortable, relaxing, enjoyable stay”
I'm not quite sure how to describe The Myth-Sud Sathorn -- it's bigger and looks more up-market than a typical guesthouse yet the cosy, somewhat traditional and informal ambience (because it is refurbished from a restored old building) make it unlike the typical hotel. My room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with good choices. Location is excellent as barely 100m away are Sapan Taksin BTS and the Sathorn Pier where you can take the river boat to Asiatique or to explore attractions along the river. If you're a foodie, you'll love it that you're in the old part of Bangkok where some of the most popular eateries which have stood the test of time can be found. The only unfortunate thing is that the building lies along a main road, but I have to say that this did not take away the enjoyment of my stay there.

Fine choice if it's your first time in Bangkok and inexperienced. ”
The Myth has a very good location, and the staff(a family) is very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean (opened in November, so the plaster hasn't started cracking yet.), the bathrooms clean, internet is pretty good, and there are news programs in different languages on TV. So what's wrong? Nothing, but there many hotels nearby that provide things like umbrellas and hot water kettles, especially important if you like some coffee before the very late starting hour of 8:00 AM for breakfast. As for breakfast, there is a set menu with three choices: two western and one Asian. Some of those other hotels actually have some choice of foods and variety from day to day for breakfast. I thought I'd try a different place, but next time I'll return to Bossotel or Sala Daeng Boutique Guesthouse
