Like we have died and gone to heaven!”

Picture perfect location, great rooms, fantastic service, great breakfast with a view, next to the beach, close to good local food places, perfect honeymoon!

I have always wanted to stay at The Royal Phuket Yatch Club Hotel since I got to know the hotel when I was training Muay Thai at Rawai 5 years ago. Then, Nai Harn beach was the final picture perfect beach where the umbrella mafias have yet set their sight on. Sadly to say, today, they have came and took hold of the beach. The beach has since been slightly dirty than it was. Yet, the color of the water is still azure blue, one of the final one in Phuket! I hope it will not turn into the next Patong. Well, I decided to have my first leg of honeymoon at Nai Harn, staying at The Royal Phuket Yatch Club. The whole trip was fantastic! On arrival, we were 5 hours earlier than our check-in time. However, the hotel staff allow us to check-in to a room that was available, and that room was an upgrade to the standard room that we booked on Agoda! We got the Grand Superior Room with deck-chair balcony, sofa on the balcony, sunken bath and a roomier room. As I did mentioned on my booking that this was our honeymoon, we were surprised with a welcome honeymoon cake and a basket of local fruits! How lovely is that :) The rest our stay was peaceful and relaxing! Breakfast with the ocean view was breathtaking. The almost empty pool was enjoyable for some good swim. The sofa on the balcony was a good place to have a drink or two to the sound of the wind and the pounding waves on Nai Harn beach. The hotel's own umbrella chairs on the beach, keep away the touts from coming near. The negative points are the tad bit hummy-noisy air conditioning system in the room and mosquito at the balcony. Overall, a great hotel even though it is more than 10 years old.

The Royal Phuket Yacht Club Hotel”

Very Friendly Staff Very Quick Check In and Check Out Big Rooms Big Balcony Very Good Food Close To Beach
Expensive Limo Service Expensive Spa Little Far From Patong/Phuket

This is a very good Hotel and I can't complain about anything. I stayed there for two nights and was very impressed by the friendly and proficient staff, the Hotel Amenities and the quality of the food. Nai Harn Beach is right next to the Hotel. It is a medium sized Beach and was fairly quiet when I was there, which can be a good thing. The Rooms are very comfortable and also feature a large private sun deck overlooking Nai Harn Beach as well as a fully stocked mini bar that's even got Moet. The Bathrooms are very clean and even have a small bathtub. The Hotel is pretty far from Patong and Phuket, the drive takes around 30-40 Minutes with one of the Open Taxi's. The price for a Taxi to Patong is 500 Baht and to Phuket 400 Baht after haggling, since most drivers will ask for 700 Baht at first. Taxis in Phuket are generally pretty expensive. What I found weird is that the Hotel sent someone to wait for us at the Airport, and when he picked us up he said he had no car, and took us to the taxi counter to get our own taxi. I don't know why they sent someone in the first place if he didn't have a car to drive us back to the Hotel, unless they might have had a deal with the taxi company for comission. Therefore I would always suggest getting your own transport.

        Very good hotel”

Just a night stay in Grand room ocean view at The Nai Harn Hotel but i am impressive for the Hotel overall. Firstly, staff at reception, Breakfast room and rooftop bar Reflection is very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean i ever been in Phuket , very spacious and comfortable. The outside balcony have a sea view with big 2 beds, desk and chair that you can enjoy all day till night. Facility in the room equip in a very good and proper, toiletry and amenities in bathroom is so good. Hot and cold water in the bathroom is easy to adjust and water is stable. If you left the door at balcony open in a few minute the air conditioner will shutdown. The hotel close to Nai Harn beach that very crawd but you can wanderer not much step for cheap local shop for beer or any food and beverage. The hotel has a beach bar but I didn’t drop by. Pro. - close to beach just a few step - Very clean room and spacious. - Big balcony with 2 sun beds, desk and chair. - Very good amenity and toiletry - Stable water in bathroom - Variety of breakfast but can not beat Renaissance Phuket Mai Kao Beach Hotel. I think the quality of food as sam as Outrigger Bang Tao Beach Hotel - You can walk to the beach and a many local shop with a cheap price for food and beverage. Just a one cons is small pool.

        Excellent”

This hotel boasts one of the most beautiful locations on the island, set on the fringes of Nai Harn beach. It's quite a ride from the airport (90-minute to two hour drive away depending on Phuket’s traffic), but definitely worth the trip. The Nai Harn makes use of a crisp modernist architecture and has a calm and classy vibe to it. Add that to the magnificent view over Phuket and you'll have some scenes to remember! The Grand Ocean View room offers a large balcony with day beds from which you can awe at the Andaman Sea. The room comes with all the comforts you could possibly need: e.g. spacious bathrooms (including tub), television and a bluetooth sound system. The hotel offers a swimming pool which is pretty to look at, but you better head down to the Nai Harn beach for a serious splash. Luckily the beach doesn't seem to be as crowded as other beaches in Phuket, which makes it a great place to spend the day. If you want to pamper yourself you can visit the spa which offers several Thai Massages and facials and waxings. Make sure to get a drink at the hotel's terrace called Reflections with reflective pools and sunken sofa's. The resort furthermore offers two excellent restaurants, Cosmo and Rock Salt (which is located almost at beach-level) with food which can qualify among the best of the island. Breakfast at Cosmo offers you a vast variety of different food items and if you like your eggs a stop at the egg-station is a must! The staff are warm and refreshingly efficient and made our stay at the resort truly enjoyable.

        The perfect hotel in Phuket”

Spactular Views, Georgous Beach, Quiet Area of the Island, Excellent service, Upscale accomodations

Located in the sleepy community or Nai Harn and overlooking the specular Nai Harn beach this hotel is situated away from the hustle, traffic and noise of the West Coast and Phuket Town areas of the island. Despite its size Nai Harn hosts an amazing variety of restaurants, both European and Thai. The hotel itself is terraced up the side of a mountain and overlooks Nai Harn beach, the bay and Promthep Cape at the southernmost point of the island. The beach is excellent for swimming and water activities. The well appointed rooms have large private balconies and complete amenities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent offering a variety of dishes, omelet station, carving table, etc. If one wants a night of partying and revelry Rawai, Puket Town, Patong Beach and Kata Beach are a short taxi ride away. I have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed.

        Excellent”

Bar none the most beautiful hotel+view I have ever seen. Gorgeous, gorgeous views from the room and restaurants. A large part of the reason why my wife and I chose the Nai Harn was because of the positive reviews of the hotel's breakfast buffet. We talked about it for days in advance of our stay with great excitement. The breakfast vastly exceeded our expectations. Easily the best hotel breakfast I've ever had, and I don't expect to ever have another hotel surpass the Nai Harn in that regard. The only con I would say is that if you're interested in getting a taste of Phuket outside the confines of the hotel, you may be disappointed. There isn't a whole lot to do near the hotel outside the beach, and you'll have to take a 10 minute taxi ride toward the "downtown" area that will cost you 300 Baht ($10). No decent restaurants within walking distance, although the hotel's restaurants are decent but pricey. Also it would have been nice if the staff spoke better English, but they were serviceable and I'm sure that this is a long-term thing being addressed by management--can't teach languages overnight! We didn't have any hiccups because of language difficulties. Overall: World class view, out-of-this world breakfast, worth every penny.

Extremely friendly staff but mediocre Wifi”

Two Private beaches, Great Views from hotel, swimming pool, restaurant

+Staff (of all levels) are extremely friendly and will greet and smile at you. Even their support staff greeted us so I felt they treasure their guests. +The hotels has accessibility to two private, small secluded beach. I believe no outsiders except for the hotel guests can access this. To get there, simply ask the staff for directions, take a bike or walk through 2-3 steep hills to get to the beach. The distance is about 2km. My definition of secluded is that there is still 10-15 tourist there with a restaurant behind. So don't create a imagination where you can swim naked or topless. And you still have to pay a feee to rent the beach chairs. +As I was there for honeymoon (and put it in a note on my booking at Agoda), my room was given a honeymoon decorations and a complimentary chocolate cake. Room service knock my door at 8pm to clear the cake and the honeymoon decor on the bed. +The hotel boasts awesome view of NaiHarn beach and windmill viewpoint from the three restaurants. The hotel is also a stone throw away from Nai Harn beach so you can walk to the beaches and restaurants easily. -There is one thing which I don't like about this hotel. Official wifi locations are at the restaurant and swimming pools. I was told to try to get wifi signal at the room. There is a weak wifi in the rooms (I stayed at 6th floor) which took quite long to whatsapp my family back home. So I hope the hotel can invest some money buying more wireless access points. -The other thing which I I don't like about this hotel is that the swimming pool is small. But the services (towels + cloth to put on the beach chair) gives me a good impression of how they value good hygiene. In summary, this is a nice hotel if you wish for excellent views and have access to private beaches and not spend time on technology.

        Beautiful hotel in beautiful location!!”

Stayed one night at the Nai Harn during a recent vacation in Phuket. Everything about the hotel is beautiful, from the location to the rooms, to the common facilities. That is, of course, reflected in the price. The rooms are expensive -- and so is everything you can spend money on while staying there. But if you are staying there, you probably don't care about that. The views of Nai Harn beach from the rooms are breathtaking. The only disappointing thing about the property may be its relatively small pool. But if you are staying right on Nai Harn beach, you should probably be on the beach and not hanging out at the hotel pool!!

        Amazing hotel with mindblowing views!”

I first discovered the Nai Harn when I visited Phuket for the first time. I loved the beach wasn't extremely crowded and that it was also really clean. This time around, I booked the Nai Harn and upgraded my room to an ocean view room. It's honestly worth every penny, especially with the beautiful room, amenities, as well as the spectacular view from your private balcony. I would've stayed for a week if I could had my schedule not been so tight. The breakfast buffet was to die for! So many options and the food was also really fresh. There are small restaurants and street food stands close to the hotel or you can dine at one of the many restaurants within hotel property. The service provided by all of the staff was beyond amazing! They were all really helpful and helped make the experience of living by the beach 10 times more amazing. I can't wait to go back in the future! It's a great place for a relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of cities.

The Nai Harn is simply amazing and outstanding”

My wife and I have visited Phuket several times and stayed at various great hotels. This was our first stay at the Nai Harn, and we conclude that this place is amazing, unique and outstanding. The located right at the beach in fantastic. The rooms are excellent (we stayed at a 80 sqm Grand Ocean view room). All facilities are very good. Impressive buffet breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. The Nai Harn is not the cheapest on the island (far from) but taking into account the quality of facilities and services, it is actually excellent value for money. We now know where we will stay during our next visit to Phuket: The Nai Harn

        Ticks all of my boxes”

The Nai Harn has been recently renovated and looks very nice. Good points: 1) Right next to one of the best beaches in Phuket; 2) Excellent sea views; (3) Very spacious rooms and balconies; (4) Very good restaurant; (5) Not money hungry - WIFI, bicycles, kayaks are all available free of charge. Negatives: (1) Not good for disabled as there are no ramps to the lift; (2) Nai Harn is right at the southern end to Phuket, which means a fair distance from everything else, such as Patong etc - can be seen as a positive however as Nai Harn is more laid back but still has sufficient eateries in the immediate area. So not good for the party types.

Lovely hotel, stunning view, nice rooms, don't order room service”

I'll start off by saying that there is no doubt this is the best hotel in Rawaii by a mile. Rooms are great. Airconditioning is quiet and powerful, bedding is luxe, pillows are down. Location is postcard perfect. My only issue is with the pricing on things in-hotel. I mean everyone expects hotel prices to be double or triple what they should be, I've got no issue with that. But pricing of room service is literally 10-20 times the real price. Specifically.... fried rice was 680b++. I ordered it expecting some super-luxe version and when it came was literally identical to the ones next door which are 50b. I mean I'm not complaining about the fried rice. It was a fair copy of the same thing you get everywhere in Thailand, and I expect to be ripped off in a hotel... I just didn't expect to be THAT ripped off. The bill for a couple of Thai dishes (a small dish of 4 chicken satays, a fried rice portion which was molded into a small bowl and a pad grapaw pork (the most common street food dish in thailand) was 2500b. When I asked my Thai wife how much she thought the bill was, and told her.... she, her mother, and BOTH the Nai Harn wait staff burst into laughter. I mean this bill was such a blatant rip off that you couldn't even get upset about it. The staff thought it was pretty funny too!!! We've had a few laughs since then at the in-house promotional materials they leave around the place. The elevator is currently advertising "Moo ping pork sticks, 680thb++".... Which, if you've been to Thailand you would know these are 5b each on literally any corner. And plain rice to go with your meal is only $5 a bowl!!! (plus VAT and tax and service) Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting to pay the same price outside the hotel as in. I'm not a cheap charlie either, I usually stay in hotels in the $500-$1000 a night price range. I know what to expect on the price-value continuum. So yeah, its a great hotel, but the internal pricing left a bad taste in my mouth.

        Best location in Phuket”

giant balcony, great view, great location

The location alone will amaze you. The hotel is nestled on a cliff, and each suite overlooks the beautiful, unspoiled Nai Harn beach. We went during the off-season, and were able to get a great rate on the grand superior room. If you have the same oppertunity, take it! The room was spacious, nicely-decorated and clean. My favorite feature was the over-sized balcony. It's high walls allowed us to enjoy the view in complete privacy. There were a pair of comfortable lounge chairs [perfect for sunbathing] and an outdoor sofa, where you could go to relax in the shade. The hotel was remote, but still only minutes away from some fine restaurants and antique shops. The food at the hotel was good, but nothing amazing. Be careful where you step, because I did encounter a small king cobra on my way to breakfast one day. They are apparently numerous throughout Phuket, so be careful wherever you end up going. All in all, I loved the place and I 'll definitely return.

        Perfection in every element!”

The Nai Harn is perhaps one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. From our first interaction via email to confirm our booking, the experience was flawless. We chose to hire their car service from the airport to the property and their staff member was easy to located in the Phuket airport. Within minutes of finding him, we were on our way to paradise! When we pulled up to the property we were greeted by a dedicated staff member who rather than taking us to the lobby, took us to an ocean front table at their restaurant and checked us in there, while supplying us with cold towels and welcome drinks! Our room was perfect and the view is AMAZING! I believe every room is ocean facing and most have a day-bed which is fantastic to lounge on. They knew it was our son's 1st birthday and they had a birthday cake waiting in the room. Breakfast was included in our room rate and let me tell you - the spread is enormous and everything is made from scratch. They have a hot section, with breakfast items as well as Thai/Asian fare. There is also a chef station for fresh egg dishes and noodle bowls. Fruit, pastries, cheeses...you will not leave the morning hungry! I could go on and on, but long story short - I literally have nothing but praise for this property, their staff and the experience they deliver. Although half way around the world from where we live, we are already trying to figure out when and how we can return!!!

        located in nice quiet cove”

Love this quiet and tucked away hotel, one of the rare ones that we immediately agreed that we wouldn't mind coming back again for our next Phuket trip. Spacious room, well kept, balcony day-bed is surprisingly not icky at all. Staff always attentive smiling and greeting you. Daily fruits water towel well replenished & turn down service. Love the breakfast it was a good spread. Also appreciate that your cheese ham fruits and yoghurt etc are in a separate aircon room. The view every morning at breakfast is awesome, beach is just a few steps away from property. I liked that there's NO deck chairs/umbrellas at this beach = no trash and cleaner sandy beach! Because it is in a cove the waters are usually calm and good for swims (unlike other beaches like Karon). Nai Harn being far out, we drove, thoroughly enjoy driving up and down the winding roads esp during sunset. Oh and the staff also surprised me with birthday cake & message decorated on my birthday, attention to details : >

        Exceptional!”

Travel to Nai Harn with my sister and we loved every moment at the hotel. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are large and with every room comes an outstanding view, staff are always smiling and ensuring we have the best time - we certainly can’t wait to return. Breakfast in the mornings provide a large selection and one of the best buffet breakfast we have had on all our travels. Phuket 30 minutes away and easy to visit from the hotel. Beach is steps away and water is warm and clear. Hotel provide umbrellas, paddle boards and kayaks. Rooms are well decorated, beds exceptionally comfortable, safe/coffee/tea/robe/bug spray/slippers/beach flip flops/umbrella/converter all provided in the room. Highly recommend and we will absolutely return.

        Great beach and hotel”

Stayed for 5 days in September as a short break from work and The Nai Harn delivered! Nice rooms, staff are great and attentive, beautiful outdoor bar/lounge areas with simply amazing nite atmosphere and cocktails. Room had huge outdoor balcony...which was nice but not extremely useful. But quite private and view of Ocean. Handful of great places to eat within walking distance. Breakfast at hotel is good and you eat in a huge open restaurant which is great in the morning...no stress or crowded lines ( at least in September). Beach (5 minute walk) and water at Nai Harn beach were pristine - didn't see one bit of floating trash like a lot of other beaches around (like Surin)...not even one... I recommend this place to all my friends and will plan to go back

        Unbeatable views, comfiest bed!”

We loved our stay at The Nai Harn, the location is fabulous right on Nai Harn beach (be aware it is a quiet area so better for relaxing than for sightseeing/nightlife). We stayed in a Grand Ocean View room. Pros: -The view! Unfortunately it was smoky due to bushfires during our stay but the view of the beach from the room and the large balcony is sensational -The staff are all very friendly and have excellent attention to detail -The room is very spacious, well appointed and comfortable; especially the bed and pillows! We slept great -the breakfast selection is varied and delicious -good cocktails at cosmo and rock salt bar :) Cons: None really other than it is rather pricey by Thai standards, but worth the money

        Ocean view

nai harn is very quiet and nice compared with the more crowded areas in the south of phuket. this is practically the only hotel on the beach. i liked the country club feeling. very good service at the reception and restaurant. practically every room has ocean view and a big balcony. the rooms are a bit dated but are very clean, equipped with everything you need. breakfast is good and served at the main restaurant which means beautiful seaviews. we got a good deal in low season. i would definitely stay here again.

Grand Hotel. Best Breakfat of my life”

Grand location with fantastic views. Breakfast was amazing. Hotel was simply beautiul
No WiFi in rooms. Restaurant (other than breakfast) was expensive

Upon driving up to the resort we knew we would have great views of the bay. The hotel is situated at the end of the beach of the small Nai Harn bay. The lobby and restaurant was all open high-ceiling spaces adorned with beautiful furniture. We were very hungry when we first arrived and decided to have lunch in the hotel restaurant. After getting our bill, we decided to not do that again. What was most remarkable was the breakfast (which was incuded in the room price). I would be a very happy man if I could have breakfast like that every morning. Coffee was like that in the best European cafes. The buffet was stocked with homemade yogurt, a plethora of fruit and vegetables, cereals, breakfast meats, cheese and warm breakfast dishes. There is a full menu with European and Asian entrees available to order. My girlfriend had the Pad Thai and remarked it was the best she had ever had in her life (after spending months and months in thailand)! The only negative was the lack of WiFi in the rooms. There is a wired ethernet port, but the prices were ridiculous. There are two PCs in the lobby available free of charge, but they are often in use and are not in good repair.
