quiet oasis”
I enjoyed the layout of this hotel. The rooms were large. They do have connecting rooms, but they have lost the key. They managed to open the connecting door - but it would have been to have had the key to do it properly. They had bikes you can use which was super cool. The pool was large and fantastic. The baby pool was a bit dirty. Great breakfast and the staff were attentive to my request for cut up fruit platter. One improvement is to have pool towels available. We waited for over an hour to get a towel. Also I hope the spa will operate again soon. This was a lovely hotel, beautiful grounds, spacious, and right on the ocean. Nice atmosphere. I hope they will be able to fix up the ballroom in the near future.

Good Hotel with ocean view”
Excellent stay at Natsepa Resort hotel at a fantastic price/night. Managed by expats, this hotel will be the pearl of Ambon. Close to the airport, small shops nearby, the best rudjak at walking distance and the ferry to Saparua nearby in Tuleho. Friendly staff, nice swimming pools, dive center, LAN and Wifi internet for free, we will stay here agin when we visit Ambon.

Perfect stay on the way to Banda with speed ferry”
We stayed one night in the Natsepa before heading to Banda with the speed ferry. It's half way between the airport and a small boat jetty. We had a clean, spacious room with a seaview and balcony. Bed was confortable, air conditioning was effective and silent. The wifi had good signal strength, and was quite fast as well. In the afternoon we enjoyed the pool very much. The restaurant provided really good food. Try the Maluku burger! Breakfast was also superb with a lots of choices. And the most important: the staff was really helpful and friendly!

4 night stay at Natsepa”
My stay at the Natsepa was seriously marred by lack of a coherent non smoking policy, in that it seems that smokers take precedence over non-smokers. All areas that were claimed to be exclusively for the use of non smokers proved not to be so. One can appreciate that the local culture is heavy on smoking, but bearing in mind that many foreign guests are non smokers, some happy medium should be found. I found my ventures into the lobby and dining hall intolerable due to the smoke. Regarding other issues, the in room wifi did not work as advertised, I was then told that wired or cabled internet was provided. It did work, but only for the first night. It did not work any subsequent day, nor was any real effort made to fix this issue. I was told that it was a server problem. The facilities are nice, with a lovely second floor lobby facing the bay, the staff and check-in counter personnel were first rate, always attentive and keen to solves issues. During my first couple of nights quite a few issues listed on the menu were not available, especially and unusual for a seaside location, fish. The heavily promoted garupa in curry sauce was not available the first two nights. Despite the nice facilities and attentive service, I could not in good conscious let go the lack of non smoking locations, the local bigwigs seem to dictate when and where they can smoke, and the service staff would not dare to bring it to their attention. This is a throwback to the swinging 1970's. After being spoilt by some excellent hotels in other parts of Indonesia with entirely smoke free facilities, this was a disappointment.

By far the best resort around Ambon”
We had a great stay in Natsepa. Maybe the cleanliness of each room could be improved as we found ants between glass that covers the desk in our room. But overall it was a great stay esp. if you opt for the room with its own pool. The beach outside the resort also clean and beautiful.

Best beach hotel in Ambon”
Stay for 2 nights, great location right in front of Natsepa beach, amazing sea view from our balcony, very good service, large size and comfortable room.

Has potential - but you need to be flexible”
The Natsepa is obviously trying its best to create a luxury resort experience in a challenging location. The staff is kind and tries hard, but Western travelers may find the pace and effectiveness of service to be subpar. Everyone in our group booked double rooms, but when we arrived we were told that only twins were available. Our various airport and port transfers - outsourced to private drivers - were both very good and very bad, but management was receptive to our comments, including about a particularly bad driver. Internet in rooms is non-existent (unless you wait 30 minutes to have a wireless router temporarily installed in the room), and the facility is also a conference center, which in our case meant that the grounds were given over to a large, excessively amplified teambuilding exercise. The management is clearly making strides and the food quality in the restaurant is very good. The swimming pool is also a plus and has a beautiful view. We were unable to dive in Ambon (we only stopped en route to further afield in Maluku), but the dive shop attached to the resort looks new and professional. The Natsepa is most certainly the best option in Ambon, but requires patience and flexibility.

Nice and pleasant stay at Natsepa resort. Friendly staff. If you want to avoid the noise and crowds of Ambon city this is the place to unwind.

Good value for night stop 25 min from airport”
My 6th time at the Natsepa and there are steady improvements noticeable each time. It is the only major hotel easily accessible from the airport through an efficient and friendly 25 min transfer at a reasonable cost. Good for travellers passing thru Ambon but located a distance away from the actual city.

All good except LOUD music”
Clean, very nice great aircon, large rooms with nice view. But there were peoblems with noise: loud music in the restaurant (we asked the several times to turn it down, and to their credit they did). However, OUTSIDE the resort someone or something plays music starting at 5am. One night it was horrifyingly loud. The second night not as loud, but one wonders who in tarnation needs to hear that crap at 5 am? So watch out for that. - Bill

Great place for relaxation”
Good location right on the seashore (but the beach is only 20m long)...clean location, amazing sunset! and private beach, so not much of crowd. The staff were very helpful and friendly, as well as spoke decent English. Rooms were fine (deluxe) and wifi strong. Breakfast was satisfactory with good Indonesian spread. But those coming to Ambon for first time, be prepared for everything to be 10-20% more expensive for all items than Jakarta prices. Our family enjoyed the place thoroughly. Its a peaceful place with big grounds to cover..we will return!

Quiet relaxation”
The hotel is very nicely located on a quiet part of Ambon island but there are still some nearby warungs to have local food and it is only a short walk to where we could enjoy fantastic rujak (mixed fruit with peanut sauce) in small kiosks right over the beach. The hotel itself has a good breakfast, an excellent large pool for swimming (and a smaller one for kids), and a nice aura. Staff are all very friendly; the only problem was a lack of communication on the booking and payment.

Well managed hotel”
Ambon is a beautiful place, it is super clean and well governed. The hotel is very nice with helpful staff. Food is not really to my taste, but it is ok. Breakfast are just ok. The hotel is on the ocean and has very beautiful surroundings. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained.

An oassis with serene surroundings near rural area”
Wonderful service staff from the reception to the bell hop, to the restaurant staff, always ready with a smile and smal talk. Large rooms facing the pool and the sea. Interesting spread of breakfast with local delights. Good place to simply relax away drom hustle and bustle of life. Spa facility is a little disappointing as there is only one therapist, not suitable for a group
