Lovely hotel, small, unique, but awkward location”
This hotel was very clean, tidy and quite unique. It is small and the staff are really friendly. However the location is a little problematic as there isn’t much around. That said, you can get a taxi into Aon Nang (costing about £5), but a return journey every day does become pricey. There is a shuttle to the beach a couple of times a day (free). Pool area lovely, breakfast was plentiful. Drinks and general food are expensive and have tax + service charge added (around 250 Baht for a cocktail - £6.50p ish) which is far too much for Thailand.

Bad experience ”
As soon as we got into the room, there were already many mosquitos inside. On the bathroom floor there were the remains of what used to be a cockroach. The sleepers given by the hotel, were very used and dirty. During the night, it was almost impossible to fall asleep due to many loud noises and thin walls that caused the neighbours voices to be heard from our room. The entrance door to our room, could not be closed properly and therefore some insects were coming inside (we found a black bug next to the entrance inside our room). The same applies to the window in front of the canal. Over the bathtub there was some kind of roof made out of plastic which wasn't properly sealed to the wall, causing mosquitoes to come inside. Moreover, free shuttle service was only twice in the afternoon. The position itself is a bit far from Ao Nang. Breakfast was OK. Due to all this reasons, we decided to leave early, after only one night (we should have stayed 4 nights in total).

Luxurious and beautiful rooms, but restaurant could be improved”
Staying at the Nine Thipthara is easily one of top highlights of our stay in Krabi! We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of facilities and the rooms (bungalows). Very well appointed, spacious, beautiful and with a lot of attention to detail. Great value for the price. We felt very comfortable. The bathroom is just out of this world, I was obsessed with the outdoor shower and the water pressure! <3 It's a bit out of town, but you can use hotel's free shuttle or rent a motorbike. Renting the shuttle outside the schedule is a bit pricey (300-500 Baht per way). Transport prices are high in Krabi, Aonang for seemingly short distances and that's a paradox we couldn't quite understand... The only downside of the resort is its restaurant which was disappointing...the food wasn't great and small portions. If they improve the restaurant, this place could have even a higher rating!

6 nights stay - great place”
We loved our time at the Thipthara, the staff was very friendly especially Alice that sorted for us all the amazing tours we did. The rooms are very comfortable and super clean. The walls are very thin, we could hear clearly all the noise from the room next door and in the little time we spent in the room that was annoying. The breakfast and restaurant need to be improved. However compared to what I've seen in Krabi from other resorts, this is the one to choose. Beach access wasn't a problem because the good places are in the Islands so just get a speedboat and enjoy.

Jungle-River-Dream”
if you want to relax and be in a fantastic jungle Atmosphere the nine thipthara is just FANTASTIC!!!!!! very very well mantained . In my opinion they could improve in the Free Shuttle Service and Breakfast. The first free shuttle service to town is at 2PM :( .if there would be one more option in the morning i would rate everything with a FIVE . The Breakfast is very low in variety and quality. But there are really nice restaurants for breakfast and dinner, just 1 min walk from the resort .

Beautiful little resort in Krabi”
We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Nine Thipthara for 3 nights. The staff were really friendly, the rooms gorgeous and the bathrooms huge with an in built Jaccuzi and shower. We took the pool access room and this made it easier to jump right in. Great amenities in the room but the only drawback i felt was the food that they served at the restaurant. Apart from that we have no complaints. Also they use cotton sheets and they are amazing to sleep in.

Good hotel”
Most of the thing about this hotel is good!! Its a new hotel (1 year++) so all are in great condition and well maintained. They gave us free upgrade to pool view villa which was very nice of them. The staffs are friendly and took good care of our needs. When the tour guide came to pick us up at the hotel, the hotel staff even double checked to ensure we are being picked-up by the right person. The room was great... spacious and clean. The hotel location is a bit far from the Au Nang main town but for us it was not an issue since we had rented motorbike. It takes only 5 mins to reach the town by bike. You can rent a hotel from them (Nine Thipthara) for THB250 per day. But I will recommend to rent from shops in town... you can get for THB200 per day. Their breakfast is rather simple and rather limited but I think it wont be an issue for most of travelers.

Exceptional resort with lush green surroundings”
Pros.: I must say everything, right from room to the staff of the resort. 1. Beautiful architecture of the resort. Wooden floor rooms. 2. Spacious washrooms with Jacuzzi ( with the money that one gets the resort it is absolute value for money) 4. Amenities greater than the cost per day 5. Lush green surroundings 6. Very friendly staff If you seriously wish to get away from your personal tensions and busy life this is the place. Cons: Not many, but to scrutinize things. 1. They don't serve dinner, but the NuanThip restaurant right next to the resort is hardly 50 Feet away. 2. Little far from AoNang beach

Small Luxury Resort”
A quite small resort with only 17 cottage rooms, every room was luxury designed and Equiped with a jacuzzi. The canal was also very beautiful. And the staff will feed the fish in the canal in the morning. The staff was very nice always with smile and helpful. The only thing bother me a little bit is that the resort is 5km meter away from the aonang beach, as we are a big family so we need to book a van every time we want to visit aonang. But if you are a couple renting a motor bike would be perfect. Definitely recommend if you want to find a quiet resort for relax.

A Garden Paradise”
We stayed at the hotel for 5 days and had a lovely relaxing time. Although the hotel is a little far away from town and local amenities, they offer a complimentary shuttle bus at 4.30pm and returning at 7.30pm - enough time to grab some food and have a wander around. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful - the gardens are pristinely maintained on a daily basis. The rooms were very well turned out with huge bathrooms and comfortable seating on the terraces. We faced the canal which was a delight to sit and watch. Food was of a good standard in the restaurant and fairly priced. Breakfast was basic but acceptable. All in all it is a lovely little hotel, perfect for a couples break, away from the crowded , more impersonal hotels. Easily deserves a good 4 star rating .

Away from the touristy area”
We arrived an hour early and the friendly staff allowed us to check in early. We fell in love with the room the moment we stepped in. We can't fault the super spacious"rockstar" bathroom either. Finally a whirltub big enough to accomodate 2 person and there is a small TV right above it! Brillant! The public pool (1.5m) was awesome too. This resort is about 15mins ride away from Ao Nang. So best if you could rent a scooter from the resort to roam around if not it's gonna be costly if you were to take a taxi. We took a motorbike taxi to the resort and it costed 200baht (Another fellow wanted to charge 300baht, so you needa negotiate). We experienced some unpleasant sewage smell on the 2nd night. The staff came over with room spray and lit up some oil but it didn't really get rid of the smell. Since it was late at night so I guess they couldn't do much and we gonna check out the next day anyway. Apart from that, we had a great stay at this resort.

Delightful stay”
The photo of this enchanting hotel does no justice to the lovely, green (literally), interesting quaint hotel. Entrance and "lobby" was nothing to shout about but the moment we walked into the pathway of the hotel- wow! Look at the well maintaine beautiful landscape - rooms are nestled here and there- so quiet,peaceful - save for loud and heavy footed guests next door- it affected the Us/ surrounding as all rooms shared plank/light wood flooring and walls. They were certainly not sound proof. Food at the restaurant was below average. Breakfast seem inadequate- quality and variety. Needs much improvement. Apart from that, kudos to the owner, architect, interior designers, landscaping group and staff- 2 thumbs up. Excellent. All of you deserve praises and acknowledgement. Very pretty place. We had the room by the canal- very clever, serene and therapeutic listening to constant flow of water. Mattress was hard and nice. Layout of room good. Worth the stay.

Hidden Gem ”
The location of this resort is quite a distance from Ao Nang area, but the resort provide shuttle or transport(payable) so location can be overcome. The 3 nights we had here was a perfect getaway to just unwind and relax since its so quiet from the hustle and bustle. The bed is really comfy and our room was fitted with a jacuzzi and thats where we spend most of our time in. Overall, we loved the room and would definitely go back!

The best resort in Krabi ”
This is our second time staying here and we love this resort so much. The rooms are well appointed with a spa bath (for two people), huge bed and a smart TV (we watched Netflix every night). The professionalism of the staff really sets this resort apart. If you have any problem, they will help you. My husband and I have lived in Thailand for 5 years and this is our favorite place to stay. We plan to return for our wedding anniversary!

The best we had!”
We traveled two months with our little daughter around Thailand. This was the best hotel we had, the staff was amazing. Really friendly they love kids and we get a lot of present during our stay over Christmas and new year. Most of them were for our daughter :) that was really nice and we didn’t expected that. The hotel is a little bit far away from the beach, but the ao nang beach is not so nice and a little bit crowded. But you need a scooter, you can rent them for 250 bht per day at the hotel. I think you get a discount for more days or you call another scooter rental in ao nang, they also deliver the scooter to your hotel. The restaurant is really delicious. It costs a little bit more (40 bht per meal) then the two other restaurants on the street(a recommendation the second restaurant down the street to ao nang / small one on the river). If you need to organize thinks like cleaning your room talk to the reception the staff there speaks English the rest of the staff not so well. The pool was perfect you have a lot sun beds and umbrellas there and the temperature is ideal for a short refresh. We really recommend this hotel, it is quite, calm, nice, well maintained and peaceful place.

my review : the rooms are super: Jacuzzi bathtub is awesome and the river sound is just super soothing = i took the room near river: they ( the hotel people has think of the question you might have) they have the mosquito repellent: torch light , smart tv ( you can mirror screen from your phone) lock, their internet speed is really good.
