Nice hotel, but the neighbour is spoiling it”
The North Face Inn is a nice hotel in a quiet street run by a friendly and helpful family. Hot water and WiFi worked well. However, there is one huge flaw which is out of control of the managing family. The neighbours started building their own hotel about 1m away from the front of the NFI. The right site of the front is therefore blocked by an unsightly construction site. When we checked in the junior staff pretended there was nothing wrong with it and wanted to give us a room where you could step over from the balcony to the construction site. Unfortunately, it is a phenomenon that is happening in a few places in Pokhara now that beautiful gardens are being destroyed and new hotels are being built right in front of the existing ones. There wasn't too much noise from the construction site because things are happening at a snail's pace, but the view is gone. If you still decide to stay here, make sure that you get the best room available when you check in. Most of the photos of NFI on the Agoda website are now outdated because an ugly concrete skeleton is blocking the front of the building. This was the situation in late November 2014. Raju said there is nothing he can do about it. Welcome to the 3rd world.......

Wonderful stay”
My partner and I booked 4 nights at The North Face Inn and ended up staying for 8. Our room was bright and spacious with a lovely sunny balcony and views of Sarangkot. We had hot showers everyday (a big plus in Pokhara!) and a comfortable bed. The staff were really friendly and helpful - they gave us advice on looking for long-stay accommodation, lent us glasses for Christmas day wine-drinking and let us keep spare paragliding wings in their storage so they weren't taking up space in our room. The Wifi was mostly very reliable and there is back-up power so that you can always have some light in the room. We didn't use the small cafe there but the cheap re-fill water downstairs is really useful. Highly recommend if you are looking for a decent place to stay without spending much money.

Outstanding stay with a great staff”
The North Face Inn is a great place to stay. The staff is very friendly, and they answered all of my questions. There are several nice places to stay in Pokhara, but Raju and his place make this place stand above the others. My room was very clean, and the internet was reliable. It is located well - Lake Side but also gives some privacy. I definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent stay in pokhara”
I stayed here at North face both before and after completing the Annapurna Circuit. The staff were friendly, picked us up from the bus station for free when we emailed our arrival details, always happy and smiling family run hotel happy to help with any information on sightseeing and activities but not pushy to book through the hotel. Staff were happy to store our luggage for the trek, which was handy. Wifi was consistent (for Nepal) and strong signal. A lovely sunny terrace with comfortable sitting areas with tables and chairs and sun lounges. A view of the lake and snow capped fishtail mountain possible on clear days. Convenient location very quiet but a short walk from Lakeside. Have recommended and will stay again next time in Pokhara.

Phenomenal”
There is a reason this place has 5 stars on trip advisor and it does not disappoint! Raju and his staff & family are just first rate, super friendly, helpful and go above and beyond to provide an excellent service. My partner and I ended up extending our stay here and booking our trekking and paragliding through Raju, which were both phenomenal with amazing guides. North Face has a perfect location in Pokhara, just 5 minutes walk from lakeside and all the restaurants and shops, it has stunning views of the Himalaya range and Sarangkot (the paragliding peak) but is set back from the main road so we slept like logs! Also the only consistently hot showers we had in our whole Nepal stay. Raju is basically just an effortlessly cool dude, who works really hard, has created a gem of a place to stay and has unrivalled expertise and knowledge of the area. If you go to Pokhara you should stay here. We wish all the best for the future to you and your family. Thanks again for everything. Arthur & Nicci

Raju (the owner) and his wife is super friednly, helpful and polite. Situated at walking distance from the make street, North Face Inn is a quiet and calm place to stay. Their rooms are spacious, clean, with a balcony, private bathroom, hot water and wifi. Raju can also help to arrange various activities you are interested in. Will definitely stay here again for my other visit to Pokhara.

Home away from home.”
I have stayed twice at the North Face Inn and plan to return when visiting Pokhara again next year. Its wise to talk with Raju or his wife for their recommendations , and hints about having clothes made or transport or places to visit. I have made friends with this lovely family who offer accomodation.

Great staff, very clean, nice location”
I really enjoyed my stay at the North Face Inn. It has a good central location but is down a less busy street, and I enjoyed this amount of privacy. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My room was clean and the internet was very reliable. Raju and his family are doing great work!

Friendly host great place”
We stayed here for four nights. It was really clean and comfortable. Raju was a great host and very informative about everything there is to do in Pokhara. He was really flexible about us changing our prebooked dates multiple times which was great. Pokhara is a great place! Make sure you go to Perky Beans coffee shop and go paragliding and out on the lake. Raju suggested lots of good things to do, the room was clean and the location was great. The only fault was that the room wasn't cleaned each day but you'd expect this for a 1 star hotel anyway so yea it was all good!

Good value, location and excellent help from staff”
Raju the proprietor was very helpful in arranging a trek on short notice and Umesh was an excellent guide. This hotel is recommended for those who want good value and excellent service at a quiet Pokhara budget hotel.

Clean central located hotel with friendly staff”
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The price is right, location is good (close to everything, but still in a quiet side street), the room was clean and comfortable (nice hot shower) and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We've also used their services like porter/guide for a trekking in the region and taxi service. Both where well organized and good value.

Excellent host Raju”
I arrived late in the evening and hadn't pre-booked. Luckily Raju was still awake and provided me the last available room (it was a 3 person room) for a price as a common double room. WiFi works great, shower is hot, room is clean and Raju is an excellent host and provided helpful hints. I did the Annapurna circuit and it was no problem to leave some luggage, which I don't need while hiking.

Excellent Stay”
We stayed here both before and after trekking because of the large, clean rooms and excellent service from Raju, Umes and the team. Good wifi throughout the building, Raju can organise everything you need for your trek, perfect location quiet but minutes from restaurants. Highly recommended!

The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious.”
Outstanding hospitality and help with organizing treks and transport. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. There is a lot of construction around at the moment but the hostel is in a covenient location. The only frustrating thing was the lack of wifi except in reception.

Good budget option for Pokhara”
Came here after doing the Annapurna Circuit for some R&R, this place delivered. Very nice staff who did out laundry for a reasonable rate. Consistent hot water and good cleanliness standards, neither of which are a given for low end accomodation in Nepal. Nice location a short walk away from the main drag.
