Located near the Ranthambore National Park, this Oberoi property gives a luxury camp experience. The closest airport is at Jaipur, and from there the resort is 180 kilometers away, an approximate 3.5 hour drive. A trip to Vanyavilas is incomplete without a trip to the national park, and the resort can arrange for a private vehicle with prior notice. Other than the reserve, there is the Ranthambore Reserve, Jogi Mahal, Mansarovar, and Highest Point. Back at the resort, after an exciting day spent spotting wildlife, you can head to the spa or for a refreshing swim. The Dining Room serves Indian, Thai, and Western dishes, most of whose ingredients come from the resort gardens. Experience a holiday of a lifetime, exploring wildlife, and sleeping in luxury tents at The Oberoi Vanyavilas Ranthambore Hotel.

Great and realxing”
Great stay. I would recommend this to all travellers
Fabulous hotel, great location for tiger reserve”
No doubt one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff and service were out of this world, staff so incredibly friendly, no request was too much for them. The General Manager was fantastic. She went out of her way to make sure our stay was perfect, which it was. Beautiful hotel, delightful gardens, excellent food. Heaven!
Excellent hotel, fantastic service”
Great place to stay. We stayed 3 nights an did 4 safaris. The tented rooms are fab - large and very comfortable. Nice touches are the blankets and hot water bottles on the early morning safaris. Service is excellent as was the food. Great place to relax - several couples forwent safaris just to enjoy the features of the hotel. Will go back if we have the chance. BTW we saw 2 tigers on different safaris.
Very impressive tent”
had a lovelly time however would have appreciated breakfast includede in the price
Luxury Indian style - including hotel elephants”
Guest are welcomed not only by a friendly hotel staff but also by the two elephants owned by the hotel. This is laready an reamrable start of the stay in the hotel. The tents are luxurious and provide at the same time an atmosphere of wilderness adn adventure. The resort is located directly at the national park, you can even observe animals from the observation tower.
Everyone touted this hotel as being so wonderful and we thought it was just awful. The "tents" were quite a far walk and we were only offered a ride one time in their little electric golf cart despite it being always available. The meals were terribly expensive ($20 for a bowl of soup and $50-$60 for entrees) which we wouldn't have minded so much except they were also not very good. The safari was nowhere comparable to the ones in Africa which we wouldn't have minded except the driver never even stopped at any other animals for us to snap some shots. They seemed 100% focused on "finding the tiger." It felt like a race from one watering hole to another and despite seeing many other animals, they went by at quite a blur. As a result, we cancelled several of our safaris the first evening. At dinner, someone came and interrupted us to kindly ask if we wanted to cancel our wakeup call since we had cancelled the safari. We were very grateful they remembered and said yes. Then, the next morning they called anyway at 5:00a.m. Finally, every time we missed a meal (we took to eating snacks since the food was so bad and there was nowhere else to eat), we were harassed about it by the staff. Would never stay again.
