Fab stay”
Really lovely place to stay in Haworth perfectly situated at the bottom of the cobbled street . Rooms are olde world furnished in keeping with the building with comfortable beds. Tea and coffee facilities are in the room with biscuits. Bathrooms are of a fantastic size with great showers and baths. Couldn't fault the breakfast. There's a choice to suit everyone on the menu. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to stay in Haworth
Beautiful location, pretty BnB building, room a little tired”
We mostly enjoyed our 2 nights stay at the Rectory (in the Cherub Room), but there are a few things that could be improved. Positives: comfy mattress; I like that the BnB has character (e.g. antique furniture, real art or photos, etc); great location; Xmas decorations were ace and it was very festive in the downstairs dining area, pleasant staff, a lovely space to eat breakfast. Negatives: - our room: had a weird smell (could be damp as the main radiator was leaking); main radiator wasn't working and we weren't told this (there was a small portable heater, but we didn't want to leave it on over night or when we were out, so the room was a bit cold); the room is in the eaves making sitting on the toilet a bit tricky (might have been good to let people know); there's black mould in the bathroom (tricky in these older buildings, but it would be good to try to get rid of it). A bigger mattress would be great too if it was possible☺️. - breakfast: it's lovely that it is included, but it really did leave something to be desired. I tried the eggs Benedict - was a bit bland and would be nice if the English muffin was toasted, & the hollandaise had more flavour and wasn't so thick. I'm the full English - The sausages weren't to my taste and the black pudding was dry and hard. I'd also recommend getting some better ketchup and brown sauce (tasted like the 'fake' sauces you sometimes find in takeaways). All things that can easily be improved and then it would be lovely ☺️! All in all, I think we'd stay again, but we'd request a room on the 1st floor with a bigger bed. Howarth is a lovely place to visit!!
Excellent”
Excellent stay. Breakfast and staff excellent
Hidden gem”
A lovely little hotel on the main street in Howarth. The room was gorgeous, spacious and decorated in Victorian style with antique furniture. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit Howarth.
