Very nice location but poorly maintained
it was the second time around we stayed in this hotel and this time we found that the cleanliness is getting worse .. and the staff were also not getting better in giving service to us even though they just had very view guests staying with them ,,

Peaceful with nice views of Mount Sumbing.
I rented a motorbike in Yogyakarta and drove to this hotel, Took about 90 minutes on some lovely rural roads. Was greeted by friendly staff. I was too early for check in, but the staff made sure that I only have to wait an hour for my room. The room was very spacious and clean. The large balcony offered a great view of Mount Sumbing and the lush greenery. The hotels is peaceful most of the time, although there is an attraction park next to the hotel, which was a little noisy at night (but not too late). The swimming pool area can also be noisy, so if you are wanting to avoid noise, as for a room away from the pool area. Saying that, the noise didn't really make my stay any less comfortable. The buffet breakfast was quite limited for this grade of hotel, but the food was good. Room service was good, I can recommend the dish called 'gado gado'. Prices were reasonable and service quite prompt. The hotel staff were all very sweet and friendly. This hotel is nice for a short stay, and a good launch pad for then driving out to explore the rural areas and the volcanoes. I drove part way up Mount Sumbing, just a short drive from the hotel.

Good location, dirty, nice staff
We got the leftover room because of the late check-in. Our room was filled with crawling ants which even the staff didn't know where it came from. Food was good.

Beautiful views, clean rooms, stairs only
Views, clean, staff tried hard to please
Don't take the royal suite unless you want to lose the views and be near the loud pool area -- thankfully the staff immediately switched us to the junior suites which were on the 3rd floor, quiet and clean and big with gorgeous views and nice porches. Breakfast was terrible and dinner was pretty bad too -- we kniew better but were lazy to leave and there was nothing easy nearby. The staff was eager to please and very resposonsove, even running outside the hotel to fill requests they couldn't fill in-house. The pool was ok but dirty and very few chairs. I would definitely stay here again just for the porch and the view despite the flaws.

Nice stay at good price, but far from anywhere
Quiet environment, spacious room, clean air
The hotel has a nice tranquil ambience, with lush green view. We got a room right next to the swimming pool. The pool itself was not big but when there was (nearly) nobody, well ..... it was just like our private pool! The hotel location is rather far from the city centre, and there were not many internationally acceptable eating places nearby. The hotel restaurant has limited options of food. Even for breakfast, the hotel management prefer us to have our breakfast in the room, instead of at the hotel coffee shop (since there was not many guests in the hotel).

Good rest at night but Bad start in the morning
Staff Performance is Good, Beautiful mountain view, Bad Breakfast
This hotel location is facing the mountain. You'll get great view in the morning and fresh air. The beds are comfy and big. The room size also quite big. Staffs are friendly and helpful, Satisfy with their performance. We went for swimming at night under clear sky and full moon, it was great experience. But Breakfast is one of the thing that I dislike about this hotel. Everything that served was cold and not fresh, plus the plates and glasses were dusty and smell bad. The accessibility also one of the weakness of this hotel. No public transportation pass through this hotel, nor shuttle bus provided by the hotel. You need to rent a taxi.

Awful.
Concept.
It was such awful experience. The concept was actually nice. But too bad, they didn't maintain the building. It was dirty and for such partially outdoor bathroom was a bit torturing. Also, the lamp in the bathroom went out, and it became a bit spooky at night. The breakfast was the worst. the menu was too little. and on top of that, the watermelon was spicy!! maybe the cook forgot to wash the knife after cut some chilly.. too bad, the concept was very awesome. the building was also nice. some little maintenance & management improvement will help a lot.

Quiet surrounding but lacking room cleanliness
Quiet surrounding, a nice small pool, mountain view.
It's quite far from major roads, so noise in minimal. Overal room cleanliness needs to be improved. There was a small stain on our bedsheet and the tea cups looked a little bit dirty. Bathtub was nice but stained. Wifi is only available in public places. Limited breakfast menu. Bedside lamp and safety box were not working.
