Relaxing! ”
The Palms hotel and spa was great! It’s far from South Beach and not too many restaurants around but it is perfect for a beach / resort getaway. The traffic is quite awful so if planning to get anywhere it’s best to factor in some extra time!

Perfect getaway ”
If you are looking for a relaxing retreat with a short walk to the downtown life this is your place. We loved how quiet and relaxing it was yet enjoyed going out on the town every night as well. The beach is just steps away and Traykwon at the beach setup was a hustler. Getting seats and umbrellas ready while keeping us smiling. We loved our trip and can’t wait to come back.

Awesome!”
We stayed for 4 days/3 nights! The hotel was beautiful. Very Caribbean feel. Room was clean. Loved the Aveda products. Food and drinks are a bit pricey. Food was just ok. We loved the atmosphere. Beach was great. They would set up chairs and umbrellas early in the morning. Never had an issue finding a spot. The only thing we didn’t like which wasn’t even the hotel’s problem was the construction right outside of the hotel. Other than that we’d come back!

Tropical Oasis”
The Palms is a lovely resort - located on the beach with a restaurant that overlooks the pool/Tiki area. Lots of birds and pretty scenery by the pool. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. Unfortunately, I only stayed for one night. However I will definitely stay again the next time I’m in Miami.

Awesome but expensive ”
You’re going to pay resort fee, 42 dollars for parking per say, and 18 percent gratuity on your 7 dollar french fries but it was very nice and relaxing once you looked past the mounting cost.

Relaxation vacation”
The Palms Hotel was just gorgeous. From the lush tropical gardens, outdoor tiki bar and several relaxing areas to unwind in, it did not disappoint. The covered porch with ceiling fans and sofas scattered throughout made it a perfect spot for cocktails and charcuterie boards. Food was amazing with choices from personal pizza to full entree meals. We are looking forward to coming back.

Excellent Hotel - improvement needed with booking system”
Great Hotel, very clean with great room. Very nice pool and facilities. A little disappointed that when checking in via AGODA booking that the Hotel attempted to place us in an inferior room that we had booked and paid for and was clearly shown in the booking email. Secondly both my credit cards were rejected which made us feel the problem was at our end. We had to challenge both these issues which were the hotels errors not ours.

Regular beach hotel, but expensive.”
Two days after check out I was charged on the credit card for something I don't recognize. I e-mailed asking for full invoice and didn't recieve it. No activities for small children.

Spectacular and Beautiful ”
The entire stay was simply flawless. From being greeted and led through the doors that opened automatically into the refreshingly cool, beautiful lobby. We immediately noticed that there was a wedding party, and understood why they had selected this venue. Check in was fast and courteous. We were in our suite within 5 mins of arriving to The Palms. We were both astounded by the beauty of our oceanview suite...the suite was plush. The fixtures, accessories, and layout made the room super comfortable and elegant. The bar was quite nice and being able to walk to the boardwalk and beach was everything one could ask for. Check out was even easier and more expedient than check in. Suffice to say, we'll be back!

I think the hotel it’s beautiful but it was too busy because of the weddings very loud people at the lobby !! The pool was packed too small for so many guests I loved the food and the service at the beach was super good Angel who helped us was super nice! This a hotel more for family trips! I came with my daughter and husband we had a great time!!

Family 3 day stay at Palms Hotel & Spa”
A lovely hotel with a relaxing exotic vibe and not too busy. We ventured down the boardwalk into SouthBeach and the Palms was one of the best on this stretch compared to the rowdiness of some. At first impression the hotel did seem a little far out, but the free Trolley on Collins Av is frequent and easy to get nearer the restaurants and shops. It’s a bit pricey to eat in the hotel as a family, so in the evenings we ventured down to Lincoln Rd where’s there’s plenty of choice. There’s a Starbucks, Subway and supermarket Less than 5min walk away so ideal for breakfast/lunch. We did have lunch at the pool bar and was nice but a bit pricey. I accept but disagree with the resort fee when you only get slow Wi-fi and towels.. but paying 18% service charge when going to the bar to get your own drinks is so wrong!! Unfortunately the sea was full of seaweed & looked awful so stayed by pool . Also a smell of sewerage every day coming from somewhere. Overall a nice break but won’t rush back.
