This place is becoming a joke.”
Room space is ok. Tv channels are very limited and bathroom was dirty like hell. Shower and bath were so discusting, I couldn't believe it. I usually don't complain since I am not to picky but this time I can't. Elevators were a joke. We had to wait for 15 minutes to take the only one still available. They had problem with the other 3 for 2 days. I use to go to Palm in the past without much problem but this time was a joke. Last time.
Girls trip but hubby joined a few days in ”
It’s a lovely hotel even though they’re doing refurbishments ( DUST TO GOLD) the resort fee of $44 a night and the $100 a night deposit takes a lot out of your vacay budget. The area was nice, if you want something quiet and off the strip.
not on the strip but not far away. ”
be aware when you book through a third party. They will ALWAYS say it's full and 'upgrade' you the a better room, means the other tower. That means without kitchen. I have read about it from other reviewers so when I got there, I told them NO right away and that I have young child. 5 minutes later, I got the room I booked for. This is really bad from the hotel. You wouldn't have problem if you book direct with them
There was only hot water in our room, could not shower or bath, or brush my teeth, the coffee maker did not work and some of the light didn't work in the bathroom. long story on trying to get this resolved nothing worked . and they charged my CC double the amount!
Clean, good staff and close to the strip without being at the heart of it”
Clean rooms. Cool modern feel to them with nice large windows with good views. Gym and pool facilities are nice. A shuttle is available every 30 minutes that will take you to Ceaser's Palace leaving you at the heart of the strip. Good service from the employees in general here. Free parking is a nice thing too.
You think it’s the Palms but it’s really a cheep copy set a fair way away from the main building ”
I thought I’d booked into the Palms but was guided to another building far away from the the main Palms, this would be done through their sky tunnel but it was closed so I had to drag my cases through there recommend alternative route, a busy carpark with building supplies everywhere, on finding the check in desk I was bombarded with up selling, after a long day and a long walk I was not up for all of this, I found the staff unusually hard to deal with as I’ve been to many Las Vegas hotels and found the staff excellent, on entering my room it’s seemed tired, lots of marks on the walls and things such as the ice machine & whirlpool bath not working or faulty, also my balcony was locked for no reason and as it was one of the reasons I had booked was a major disappointment, nowhere to eat except the extortionate mini bar, all food places were back in the main hotel and I couldn’t face the carpark walk again. I wouldn’t stay there again which is the first time I’ve said that a Vegas Hotel
Enjoyed out stay”
We enjoyed our stay and the friendliness of staff
Great suite with amazing view”
I’ve enjoyed everything about this, except for the expensive 80$ cleaning fee. If it wasn’t for that, I would have had great value for the two nights spent. The suite was very nice, well decorated, modern, and comfortable, not to mention the fantastic view over the strip. It is also near affordable restaurants and is a short taxi ride to the strip. I would gladly book again if I can get the same rate or less.
Valet Non Existent and Sheets in Room made me Itch ”
Excited to stay at this hotel with all the Pictures of the room...When we arrived at the Hotel, there was no Valet guy to greet us...Had to wait awhile when nobody approached us, went inside the lobby to get Valet and Bell service to get our luggage to our rooms...Apparently the Valet Guy and the Bell service is the same person. Had to carry most of my stuff with little help from Bell Service but tipped the guy anyways. During check in, got some news on the Resort fee that wasn't disclosed during Agoda booking, had to pay it as we had no choice...When we got in our room, it was positive until we can't even use the balcony to see the Vegas City, there's a balcony but it's Locked. Also we stayed 5 days there and I was itching every time I went to Bed, not sure if it's the Bed Sheets or something else because I was itching all over. Would not stay here again, I'll try other Hotels next time I'm in Sin City
Check-in/out was efficient, staff courteous. ”
The room itself was very clean, in a quiet part of the hotel as we requested. Terrific water pressure in the shower, loved it! Only drawback was drain in sink was a little sluggish. Room came with microwave, mini-bar and separate fridge with icemaker and coffee maker - all totally appreciated. Hotel location on Flamingo was near freeway for easy off and on but near enough the strip. On site parking for hotel guests is still free which can no longer be said for a lot of the big name hotels on the strip - this was one reason why I chose this hotel. Will definitely stay here again should we return to Las Vegas for another visit.
A wonderful stay conveniently located off the strip ”
I enjoyed my stay tremendously at this hotel. First of all, check-in was a breeze, real quick and easy. Next, was pleasantly surprised by how spacious and modern the room is. I stayed at room 12-320. Roomy bathroom and nice kitchenette which you can use if you choose to prepare your own meals. However, it will not be necessary as there are many reasonable eating options at Palms Casino and near the hotel. Most tour companies have free pick up for Palms Place so not to worry about booking your day tours too. Parking was easy and check-out was quick and hassle-free. Highly recommend this hotel.
Beautiful rooms, Staff good problem solvers”
Stayed in a beautiful room on the upper floors, with jacuzzi bath. Great value for money. Ran into a serious problem when on arrival at 11pm, my room still needed to be cleaned so I could not check in. But problems happen, and in this case it was how the hotel staff responded that mattered. Received an upgraded room (much better) and more. Staff was very professional so when I woke up the next day, I had forgotten all about it and enjoyed my stay. Immensely.
Need to pay $25 per head for resort fees, making the total cost of the room much higher. They should have made this fee upfront instead of collecting it at check in..this misled me to think that their rooms were cheaper and made me booked them over another hotel..not a good tactic and I wouldn't stay here again..also, u had to pay to join thier pool party?!??! Hello I am a guest at the hotel!!! And what's that beeping sound in the room that comes on every 5mins? Kept me up all nite..hope the management sees this review and do something about it..totally unhappy guest
Loved the hotel!”
I loved the rooms! And I enjoyed the peace and quiet. I would definitely go back but not with kids. The intimate setting is more for alone time or with a couple. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.
Our stay at the Palms was wonderful. The room was clean with a great view of the strip. All the restaurants we ate at were wonderful. The only issue we experienced was the transportation. It took forever to get a taxi or shuttle.
first time at the palms”
There was no valet there when first checking in, so that was a bit of a bad start trying to find someone. Stayed at the Palms Place, so loved, loved, loved the room. Having an ice maker in room was extremely convenient. one complaint: stayed 3 days and house keeping never showed up. Not once. Even clicked the little light showing the room was available and needed servicing, But never ran out of towels or extras so didn't push the issue
The Hotel room was great. We went to the Palms Bistro and found it very disappointing. The food stations were understaffed and it took minutes to get a cut of beef which was cold and cross cut. The food descriptions didn't always match the food on display. And I had to find my own utensils when the dirty ones were removed. The hand cleanser was empty as well. A poorly run facility
A QUIET oasis in Vegas”
I really enjoyed by stay. We had a studio suite with a kitchenette. The staff was extremely nice, the lobby and room were clean, the room itself was so nice. None of those crazy Vegas colors, just whites and browns and grays... relaxing! Loved the massive jacuzzi tub, almost fell asleep in that. The ONLY piece of critical feedback I would leave regards the kitchenette. When we arrived, we expected it to have dishes, a pot and pan, glasses. It had a dishwasher even, but no dishes. We requested dishes repeatedly, but didn't actually get them until late on the day before we left... so the kitchen was pretty unused. I would suggest providing kitchen items at check in, or when the room is prepped.
Beautiful room. Poor service.”
Except for the poor service, it was a great experience. It took them as long as 15 minutes to answer the phone at the from desk. If there had been an emergency, I would have had to call 9-1-1, even if I didn't need a first responder. I think they are trying to cut corners by reducing the number of staff.
My stay was relaxing, I Had a great time. The casino was not too smokey and there were always tables open. The movie theater was cool when I needed a break. Last but not least the book was perfect not too crowded.
