Best Hotel experience in Osaka”
Pros: •Literally located in front of Universal Studios Japan, no need to rush going to the train station! •A great view of the park, especially the Hollywood Dream Rollercoaster, which made us want to go back to USJ again soon •Superior room has a deep bath tub which you can use to relax after spending the whole day at the park •Separate room for toilet, TOTO washlet is superb •Large beds compared to other hotels in Osaka •Almost everything is provided for- free bottled water for all the guests, toiletries, bubble bath, comb, razor, Shiseido cleansing oil, shaving cream, bath, face and hand towels. Just request to make up room when you leave in the morning •Hotel is only a few steps away from Hotel Kintetsu, where the Airport Limousine Bus drops and picks up passengers to and from Kansai International Airport. Bus ticket can be purchased at the 3rd Floor lobby of Hotel Kintetsu. Booth is open by 7am, first trip going to Kansai leaves at 9:06am. Cons: •a bit far from downtown Namba, take the JR Yumesaki Line to Nishikujo, you might need to transfer to Hanshin Line going to Osaka-Namba •no English speaking channels We had an amazing experience, we were upgraded to a Superior with park view room. Room was spacious!!! All our queries were answered prior to our trip and everything was okay when we checked-in. Thank you Agoda and to all the staff of The Park Front Hotel.
Park Front Home Front”
The Park Front Hotel is in my opinion, one of the best hotel's one can stay in when visiting Universal Studios Japan. Location wise, It's literally a stone throw away from the theme park. Also, for those who are hungry, the Universal Studios City walk is right outside as well. Ambiance-wise, the Hotel looked spectacular. The rooms were also very spacious compared to other Japanese hotels, so they are worth mentioning. With regards to staff, some members do struggle with speaking in English but they always make it a point to give it their best when trying to communicate with the guests. Overall, I would give the hotel and A+ rating. Very highly recommended for anyone who is planning to visit Universal Studios Japan.
Can't Beat the Location!”
So finally did USJ last week (Universal Studio Japan), and decided to spring for the Park Front Hotel. If you want to walk out of the park and immediately into your hotel room, there is no place better than here. It also boasts the best breakfast buffet in Japan for an addt'l $15/ I think? Has both US and JP breakfasts, and made-to-order omelets/bfast sammies. Everything in the Hotel is super themed, there are about 20 amazing places to take pictures for family and couples. If you are thinking of getting a hotel on the train line, don't. We sat at a resturant and watched people push and sweat and be miserable for 2.5 hrs while we dined. Its worth saving yourself the torment. We had an amazing view of Osaka and CIty Walk as well.
this hotel, location was great! especially if you plan on visiting universal studios and the aquarium, this hotel is the first hotel located right front of universal studios, and literally 3 min walk from the train station. But if you plan on visiting the main city of osaka it is a 30 min train ride away, or a $40 cab ride back. we stayed here for two nights and it was perfect enough. The staff IS amazing, and very sweet. if you get tired of universal and want to take a nap back at the hotel before heading out again, this hotel is perfect. we also ate the restaurnts in the hotel plaza. the all you can eat shabu shabu there was perfect after a night out partying from osaka. This hotel has a lawsons 24 hours downstairs, which is like 7/11 and they have a great selection of breakfast necessities, hangover drinks, snacks, and fruits for your daily needs. I would stay at this location again, we starred out at the other hotels, and we thought we picked the best one.
Excellence Hotel with Good Location”
The Park Front Hotel is located just outside the Universal Studio. Our room could view the Universal Studio and the roller coaster was just in front of us. 5 minutes walking from the hotel to the entrance of Universal Studio. You could purchase the park entrance tickets and express passes from this hotel’s ticketing counter. It is so convenient and hassle-free. There is a ‘Lawson’, 24-hours convenience store at the side of this hotel. Limousine bus service to and fro Kansai International Airport is nearby at ‘Hotel Kintetsu Universal City’. The ‘Universal City Station’ would be 5 minutes walking distance. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The staff clarified my queries via email promptly before my arrival.
I must come back to this Hotel!!! ”
I stayed in luxury twin room. To a surprise, the room size was very big for japan standard with a beautiful city view and harbor. We can see a part of the universal studio. This hotel is located in the Universal City Walk complex, very convenient so many choices of eatery, lawson is 24 hours open. The bed size is semi double which is big enough for 2 people, because we ordered twin bed, it fits for 4 people. Very accommodating. Room is cleaned everyday, 2 mineral waters everyday, bath amenities were amazing even we got cool pad for feet to relax our feet after a long tiring walk :) All the staffs are very friendly, they spoke good English, we buy the park ticket and express pass there, so we don't need to bother queuing at the park ticket counter which is very long queue Thank you The Park Front Hotel
I was surprised by the room (quadrupled) with four Super single beds and two wide windows side by side overlooking USJ. You can even watch the Hogwarts castle light show from the room. And very grateful for the hotel to reserve for us the room at the highest floor based on the price range. Furthermore, they are really responsive when I messaged them questions via Agoda. Good room and counter service too. The hotel is the nearest to USJ entrance and the newest. It is also at Universal City Walk where you can shop and eat, not forgetting 24hrs convenience store in the hotel and also at the City Walk, literally just outside the hotel. Did I mention the Universal City train station is less than 100m away? Great spacious hotel at Super Low price if I were to compared it with hotels in downtown. If I go USJ (or even travel to just Osaka), with such a neat train station and so near to Tempozan attractions too, I would definitely choose Park-Front Hotel at USJ.
Worth it, if you can afford it”
This is the second Universal Studios hotel I've stayed at, the first being the Universal Port and it had it's pros and its cons. A huge pro would be the location. Right on Citywalk and only a few minutes from the park itself. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a park view room (which was amazing). The only thing that is lacking is the presence of any extras in the hotel itself. Once you've walked through the lobby, that's it. There's not much else to see in the hotel and there aren't any activities that the hotel offers in addition to the park. That being said, the amenities were wonderful, the staff were ever helpful and Citywalk is there if you're in need of something to do (stay away from the arcade... oh so much money gone because of those cold metal claws...). If you're going to Universal Studios, I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you can afford it. It won't make or break the trip, but it's the whip cream and cherry on top of your experience.
The view & location is perfect. Hotel breakfast is pretty decent as well. Ideal for families with children/ friends travelling together. Right in front of Universal Studio Japan. Many eateries nearby. Hotel itself has a 7-11 too. Nothing more to ask for. Suggest to bring along multi-plug for device charging as the power in Japan is really low (you won't have time to charge them one by one). Took like 5 times longer to charge a phone a Japan/ Osaka.
Great value for money, best in Universal area”
almost everything about the stay was superb. location is amazing, right next to the entrance to Universal Studios. Subway station is also just next door. sufficient choices of restaurants / foods in the plaza just in front. also, there is a Lawson convenience store right at the lobby level of the hotel. i love the minimalism design of the room, which i think is very neat and efficient. the only downside about the room is that they do not have any king-size bed in the whole hotel, not so couple-friendly. but i guess this is the common practice in many hotels in Japan. also, we needed to hire a van taxi to go to the airport. i had to go three times to the concierge, assisted by the same lady. on the first two requests, we only said the estimate price but said that the service was full on my day of departure. only after i tried again for the third time, talking to the same person, sharing my urgency why i really need the service, that she went ahead to try calling several taxi companies she has already had on her file since the very beginning. she managed to get me the van booked only after her second try. it was helpful, but definitely would have been a lot more helpful if she can just do it right the first time.
Fantastic Room, Great Staff”
Loved our stay at The Park Front Hotel. Staff were very friendly, helpful and nice. Room was awesome - we had a quadruple room with 4 single beds so lots of room for 2 adults and 2 kids! The room was very very clean. It was very close to Universal Studios. Lots of lovely restaurants in and around the hotel. Definitely the choice if you are going to Universal Studios Japan.
Best hotel during our stay in Japan”
I was in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, and think that this hotel is the best one we had. We booked a 4 beds room, and turns out it has the best view as it directly above the Universal Studio. The room doesn't feel small and stuffy, despite the 4 beds, because it is efficiently located. We are very impressed with the well designed toilet, and the amount of small amenities they provide in the bathroom (from shaving cream to hairbands) as well as the very nice toiletries they provide. When you decide to play hard at the Universal Studio, this is the best hotel as it is conveniently 1 minute walk away from the front gate and directly facing the rows of restaurants and convenient stores.
Perfect for Universal Studios Japan trip”
The service and facilities of this hotel was more than what we expected. My daughter's birthday celebration was made extra special. It is perfect for those who are going to Universal Studios Japan as the hotel entrance is right in front of the park. It is family-friendly. The buffet breakfast offered a variety of Western and Japanese food which we enjoyed during our stay. There's also a convenience store connected to the hotel for other food options. The Reservations staff also promptly replied to my email inquiries.
Universal Studios and Osaka”
This trip was a father-daughter trip to Universal Studios Japan (USJ). This hotel made the 3 night 4 day trip very easy. The hotel is so convenient to USJ. This hotel is the closest to the park! If you need to pick up tickets or request express passes, you can also do that at the hotel, next to the reception desk (now that is convenience!) We came from Honolulu, so the Hawaii themed restaurant as well as Eggs 'n Things made us feel instantly at home! The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Staff were excellent. We enjoyed our stay!
Overall experience is Good!”
Pros: Venue is just outside the Universal Studios Japan. Two (2) 24 hours convinience store can be found at the Ground floor of the hotel (at the back side of the hotel) and the other one is just on the other building (front area; near the main Universal Station). Starbucks is also a neighbor and open until 10pm. GAP Outlet store is just across the main entrance of the hotel. Cons: Not everyone can understand and converse in English.
Best hotel to be if the main purpose of your Osaka vacation is to go to Universal Studios. I had little hopes of this hotel being near the park because of our previous experience years ago when we booked at Hard Rock Hotel in Singapore. Though Hard Rock claimed that it is near the park it was still quite a walk to go to the park. I was thus blown away when it turned out this hotel is indeed just a minute walk away from the park! I am very particular of hotel locations because my daughter has difficulty walking and I don't want to stress her out by walking long distances. It was therefore quite a delight that the hotel is very near the park. Since the hotel is within the universal city walk, all good restaurants are within arms reach. There is even a 24 hour convenience store Lawson within the hotel if you are in a budget. The train station is but a 3-5 minute walk and the ferry about 10 minutes. The bus station is also about 5 minute walk. Rooms are spacious and clean. We booked two connecting rooms for our group which consists of 4 adults and 3 kids. Staff are mostly courteous though it is difficult to converse with them as they are not that proficient in English. Thus, when I bought our USJ tickets and Express Pass with them, my questions were not sufficiently answered and I had to rely on the Internet. Our stay was overall pleasant except that we had to get a private van to bring us to the airport because the earliest bus available is at 9am. Taking the train would have been difficult as we have 4 big luggages. We were charged around 22,000 Yen for the van. The bus, had it been available at an earlier time, would have only cost us around 7000 Yen.
Awesome experience at Park Front Hotel Universal Studios ”
The location of the hotel is awesome with all amenities within a few minutes walk away and most importantly we had a great view of Universal Studios from the hotel room. The rooms are not very spacious but very clean and loved the windows all around the room which made the night view bright. My younger kids aged 10 & 8 had an incredible experience being to Japan for the first time with the local food selections & western selection plus all the fun at Universal Studios for 2 days in a row. The 3 nights stay passed by very quick big was a memorable one to add to our life’s experience.
This is a fine hotel on the Universal Studio property. We got a very low price through Agoda, making our stay a true bargain. Being part of the Universal japan complex the area is safe with many restaurants, and a Lawson's convenience store on premises. Rail / subway access let's you travel to any part of the city. If you get a discounted room it is a highly recommended place to stay in Osaka.
about the stay is.”
I found it unbelievable it does not look like this in Japan in this little piece of the hotel I swear to you the rooms are very relaxing. The pity that I forgot to include the breakfast. But .I will return more often than this.Once the check in and out I want to choose ta ok? Thank you staff The park front Universal studios japan Hold me back!
Can't wait to go back!”
The hotel is beautiful and the location is fantastic. We were so happy to be right next to Universal Studios. Being able to purchase our park tickets at the hotel made things so easy the day we went to the park. Our room was spacious and clean, and we had a nice city view. The breakfast buffet was very nice with lots of options for Japanese foods and western style foods. Every staff member we came in contact with was super nice and so helpful. We are already planning to stay here again when we go back to Osaka.
