One big disappointment
It 'seems' great from the internet. But unfortunately it was one big disappointment. Ants everywhere; in the kitchen, on the bathroom and even in bed. Strange blue staines in the bed textile. Filthy swimmingpool water (many dead insects on the water surface). Watertap in the kitchen broken. And the dishes and pans had still some overcooked food remains. Never again this place... full of safety and health risks.

Disappointing And misleading
We were in Samui for two nights prior to flying back to NZ. We booked this as rooms looked nice and there was a pool next to the restaurant which was how advertised on Agoda. There was no restaurant and barely any staff. We had no food or transport. Chong the nice taxi man helped to contact the duty manager who was unable to help me. We left after our first night as was not at all what we were looking for and I will be contacting Agoda to get a refund for the second night that we paid for.

Great place for a relaxing family vaccation
spaciousness of the apartment, staff friendliness, swimming pool
We enjoyed our stay in the Park Samui. The staff was very friendly & helpful, arranged the car for me (free guarded parking on the premises), gave us a few useful tips. It is very beneficial to have a scooter or a car, as the complex is located on a little hill on a side road. The apartment itself was very spacious, located on two floors, accommodating 4 people without any problems. Great living area & kitchen, patio & balcony. Two swimming pools. Great place if you are vacationing with small children. Very pleasant experience.

Spacious living areas but need your own transport.
The price, the size of the apartment and the lovely gardens and pools.
It was our second stay at The Park so we returned because we had liked it so much 3 years earlier. It was a great price for the size of the apartment and it allowed my husband and I to have our space and the kids to have theirs. With a young family we need self-catering options now and rooms that can be shut off from eachother. The Park provided all of this and the use of 2 lovely pools and lush gardens. It is very quiet which is nice for families with young kids. The staff were helpful and easy to access. On the down side, The Park is not located near the beach so you need a car to access shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. Hiring taxis and cars raises the whole price of the stay so although the accomodation is priced very reasonably, it probably adds up when you factor in transport. It would be my only criticism.

Fantastic Property and Smiling Service
Apartment instead of hotel room, peaceful, luxurious, great location, wonderful service
The Park Samui was an excellent choice for our three week holiday. Staying in a spacious and luxurious apartment was much better than staying in a hotel room. The staff at The Park Samui are most helpful and no matter what the situation was, staff members always had a smile on their face. The apartments themselves are very nice . . . but the landscaped property is beautiful. On some days we opted to sun around one of the pools, instead of going to the beach because the pools are wonderful. If we ever go back to Koh Samui we will stay at The Park Samui once again.

Great sett up
Two pools, plenty of room
overall the venue was good. the set up of the whole comlex is great - two pools, beautiful gardens and a huge duplex for a family holiday however the park was lacking in certain aspects that did put a dampener on our trip. our duplex leaked water, it was reported but not investigated - when it rained (as it does in thailand) we had rivers running down the wall of the stairs but nothing was ever done about it. on top of this the air conditioning leaked and also deposited water on the stairs. we experienced one of many power failures on the island (no fault of the management) however staff at the resort did not find it necessary to ensure all guests were okay - after three hours we investigated how much longer we were likely to be in the dark for, staff had never bothered to check in with guests. housekeeping was average, beach towels would be removed from our room but not replaced. bottled water was provided every few days, no consistency in the supply (good thing we bought our own in big supply). the hot waer supplied only to the bathrooms required resetting every other night to endure we could have a hot shower. there eas no hot water in the kitchen unless you boiled the kettle (slow boiler making it a long process) meaning cleaning the dished was difficult. cleaning of the pools seemed to also be inconsistent, after nights of winds and storm acitivity the pools were not touched meaning you were swimming with debris across the surface and in the water of the both pools. garbage was piled high in the driveway - whilst it is recognised there was a problem with garbage collection across the entire island, the stench when entering the duplex from the garagee was terrible. this is no 5 star resort but comfortable once you are aware of the shortcomings

Hotel Alternative
Pool, peace and quiet, views
great alternative to hotels. full kitchen so you can self cater if you wish. nice large rooms, although no hanging/wardrobe space in second bedroom. pools are nice. be aware that apartments are split level and property is on a hill, so there are plenty of steps. not far from restaurants, but in a quiet peaceful area. some maintenance issues, such as decking needing repairs, patchy service etc do unfortunately lessen the experience

Nice big apartments, lots if space and nice pools.
Big apartments
The apartments are a little bit out of the way, however it is only 5 minutes in a taxi to chaweng or bophut, and reception will call a taxi for you. Apart from that, the apartments are great, and really good value for money.
