Best staff i ever experienced”
For my work (and also private) i have been to a lot of hotels around the world, but the staff in Hotel The Patra is the best i have ever experienced. Nothing is too much for them, they help wherever they can, they are superfriendly and some of them talk good English. The room was very big, clean and with microwave, fridge, hairdryer etc. The only thing about the room was that the shower was going from warm to cold and then warm again. Not very stable. The breakfast was good for us but it is best suited for asian (especially Chinese) people. The swimming pool on the roof is very nice to relax. The location of the hotel is very good from the international airport (just 15 minutes by car) but it is further away from the highlights of Bangkok. You have to take a taxi. But we will definitely go back to this hotel.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR FOR YOUR COMMENT. And A great encouragement for employees.
We loved the deal and the staff, they were sweet.”
First of all it is easy for cab drivers to find the place as the trip was no problem from the airport. We are glad to have checked into The Patra because it was central to what we wanted to do in Bangkok and close enough to the airport for departure. Room was clean and bed was king size. We recommend staying there but the only problem was that the WiFi was not free and you need to purchase time, which was not really a problem. Staff was great!!

value for money budget hotel”
The hotel is clean and cosy, the staff can speak English and Chinese beside their native Thai. the Swimming pool is workable and open until 10pm but have to ask the security guard to turn on the lighting. breakfast is more cater to Chinese Tourist group taste but Hotel provide cook to order for the egg station and sausage, breakfast buffet spread is acceptable and taste acceptable. location wise is easy access to going to Suvarnabhumi International Airport, it take 12 minutes ride by public taxi and cost about 170 THB. overall for budget wise, this hotel can save a lot of money for you and can spend the saving to all the great street food in Bangkok. especially there is a small family restaurant that is located at Soi Ramkhamheng 8, few door next to Family Mart convenience store which is 450m walk from the hotel, the most ordinary and classic Thai food that cost per person 60THB to 100THB freshly cook to order simple meal, very delicious.

The stay at Patra Place was very nice. There was a warm welcome when we arrived at the hotel. Each time you get into the hotel, it gives you a good feel because of the warm and smiley welcome of the hotel staff. Each time they arranged taxi immediately when we were in the lounge. They guides you utmost they can.

Stayed there many times”
Have stayed there many times.good base in Bangkok when arrive and leave. Have a home in Kanchanaburi and the Patra is clean, inexpensive and so close to the airport and city shopping. My wife is Thai and rates the food highly. We usually spend a few nights there when we arrive and a few nights prior to departure. Staff are attentive and aim to please. We stay there between 6 and 10 times a year and have done so for some 4 years. The rate through Agoda was even better than what we have been able to negotiate ourselves for the same room and breakfast. The only minor criticism is the lack of free wifi. Will continue to stay there.

Decent hotel but out of the way”
we stayed at the Patra because we needed to be close to Rajamangala Stadium. for this purpose it was good. Its kind of in the middle of nowhere, and getting a taxi to the hotel could be a bit of a challenge at rush hour from the city center. there are two wings at the hotel, we had rooms in both. older wing room had a kitchenette which was nice, but definitely feels an older room. the new wing was quite modern and overall more pleasant. nothing bad to say about the hotel, other than the location, if you want to travel to the city. travel time was between 30 mins to an hour depending on traffic, though taxi fare in Bangkok is pretty cheap, just make sure the taxi uses the meter.

Good for hotel airport or for business only”
With the price that we paid for staying a night before we returned to UK in the next day as it is not far from the airport and it is great because the package we booked including free shuttle to airport, so we haven't expect any facility from the hotel. It's just lovely to stay in a nice and clean room. However, in the morning it was very busy with a lot of tourists, but everything could be managed by hotel staff who is very friendly and helpful. Just only one thing that was not very nice is the noise from the door of some room closed really hard and loud in the night time.

Good Value Hotel in Ramkhamhaeng Area”
This hotel is located in the Ramkhamhaeng area. It is not a touristy area, but offers ample shopping and dining options, although these cater primarily to Thai residents. It is a rather long walk to the main road, so a short taxi ride is probably necessary. The room was clean and large; I was given an upgrade to suite, which was very nice of the staff. The restaurant and buffet restaurant were quite good considering this is a budget hotel. This hotel is owned by Grand Diamond Suites Pratunam.

Ok hotel at a good price”
We stayed at the Patra for 20 euro a night. I was in bkk for 5 nights and had a few bits and bobs to do. The location is halfway between the airport and Sukumvit road. My room had a great view of a flyover and there is not a lot to do in the area. However you can get a taxi with some ease at The Patra. Basically if you have some knowledge of BKK I would recommend it as it is cheap. If this is your first time in BKK I would say go more central. Rooms are good enough the shower was good however there seemed to be a leak in the toilet and by all accounts this is a common feature. Clientele tended to be Thai, Chinese and Russians on bus tours. Staff were kind and friendly.

Very nice ambiente, best value for money”
We just planned to go to Bangkok for 2 days to do some shopping and get a bit of rest for our return from our 3 week Thailand trip. For that it was great, very clean rooms, good and friendly staff with great service. The nearby mall is very large and offers the same conveniences as western malls but is more expensive then the touristy market places. We arrived at five in the morning after an exhausting bus trip and boat ride from Koh Tao. The staff let us check in at 5.30 in the morning and were very understanding. I would definitely stay there again and the value for money was fantastic. The location is not great if you want to walk to sights but the value for money makes up for that.

Very nNice hotel with very friendly staff”
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, (10 days. Very comfortable rooms. The breakfasts were great. Many choices of dishes and very efficient staff. The hotel is a bit out of town,(about 30 mins) but that leads to a quiet location. Although there is a regular traffic hum from the highway nearby. It is nowhere near as noisy as being in the city. Very convenient for the airport. Taxi drivers do have a problem finding the place, even with the hotel card ..

clean and nice”
We've booked 2 standard rooms. Room space is big enough. And our rooms are quiet. There're fridges and microwave oven. The beds, bathrooms and ac are all comfortbale. It only takes you 10-15 mins and 200B from airport to the hotel by taxi. Show the address to the coordinaters at the airport, they will help you to communicate with the taxi driver. We didn't book breakfast. But there's a tiny supermarket near by. The receptionist will help you to call taxis if you ask. It took around 30 mins to the city center by taxi.

A rushed but pleasant visit”
Ours was a flying visit--arrived after 10 p.m. and left at 4.30 in the morning. The reception was warm and friendly, but hey, this is Thailand and where isn't it? The restaurant is open until midnight, so we were able to get a meal which was more than adequate. A quick walk around the hotel at almost midnight seemed to indicate there were no bars or restaurants immediately adjacent, although we knew from the taxi ride that there is a large mall and entertainment area which couldn't have been more than a five minute walk away. While not luxurious, the room was comfortable, the bed was nice and firm and the air conditioner whispered rather than shouted. All in all, we were sorry not to have discovered this gem on our first pass through Bangkok.

Clean room, but thin doors.”
Stayed at Patra mainly for its proximity to the stadium. Relatively clean room. Only the new wing is clean and nice. However, walls are thin and corridor is noisy with the slamming of doors. There are too many rowdy PRC tourists when i stayed there, the staff seemed too jaded from servicing them. Claims to be smoke free, but all of them are smoking everywhere, including the lift. Breakfast spread is basic.
