The Paul was conveniently located in the middle of every place we wanted to visit in Manhatthan...”
...Even though it was just an overnight trip, we were comfortable in our room and the staff was very friendly. The only issue we had was the very loud construction sounds coming from across the street from the hotel and constant police sirens that kept waking us up during the night. We are aware that these are not the hotel's responsibility. Aside from those issues, our experience was great. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants simple accommodation for a very reasonable price.

Pros: - Location - It's 1 street away from 28th Street Station MTA; few blocks away from Penn Station, Walgreens, marts, Empire State Building, Madison Square Park, Flatiron Building, etc. We would really come back here because of its location. - Great view from our room (19th floor) - the Empire State Building! - Regularly supply you with K-cups and paper cups with lids, so you can take away your coffee if you're in a rush! Wish I knew that before we bought a few K-cups. But it's okay. The more (coffee), the merrier! TIP: Complimentary water is only given on your first day. But they have drinking water at the lobby. - The room is quite clean and also new with supply of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, vanity kit (cotton/cotton buds), toilet and facial tissue, and shower cap. The room size is more than enough for me and my husband. Cons: - The room is quite dusty on our first day. But when we asked for a cleaning service, it's as clean as what we hope it would be.

Perfect location for Manhattan”
Pros: Great condition rooms, clean and the windows open. Ideal location between Koreatown and the Village, Midtown a stop away. I’d chose Nomad over Midtown every time, less traffic. Con: Only two elevators, and morning check out can be busy, but not really a problem. Currently several construction sites nearby, so there’s daytime noise - if that matters.

i loved this hotel....the only issue i had was that the rooftop patio/bar was not opened or accessible. other than that the room was great and the beds were comfortable and clean. i hope ill get a deal like this again.

We picked this up for less than $90 an night, perfect location, very clean and modern. Room includes an empty fridge and heating amongst the usual amenities. I'll certainly come again for the same price

Nice place with great stuff ”
It was a great place to stay and very convenient to get to wherever you needed to go. The street has a few closed businesses so it might be a little scary but don't let that get to you. Room is as you would expect for NYC but the staff and the location is great. If you lucky your direct view outside your window will be the Empire State Building. Will definitely stay there again.

First the location, this is very comfortable place to go uptown and downtown of NY. Second the price, in NY city, the cost that I paid was kind ^^. Third room condition. the room that I stayed was not good, because hot water in shower booth was not working. I called them and they tried to fix it and after that it was like working well, but it wasn’t. the water is not appropriate to enjoy shower. i had to take a shower quickly. interesting thing is that I could use hot water at sink.

I brought my shoes case which is from Marcjacobs. It only can get when buying their shoes. First night I saw it. Last night I can’t find it. It seems like towel and color as well. I think housekeeper took it with towels. I told everything to staff. I really dont want to get money or any compensation. But staff said ‘i dont know we can find it’ ‘I cant do for you’. Didnt say ‘sorry or give my number’ or ‘we keep trying to find it.’ Other than that it was really nice. Just small thing made me disappointed.

Good boutique hotel very close to Empire State Building ”
Hotel is by 29th and Broadway and you can see the Empire State Building from the entrance of the hotel. Hotel room is decent size and was very clean. It’s a small hotel so it seemed there was always only one person working the front desk. Check-in and out took a while as there was always a line. They told me at check-in payment was made as I booked through Agoda but then they said I owed the one-night stay balance at checkout. She called someone to check and let us leave. I’m still not sure if the person actually confirmed complete payment. That aspect of operation didn’t seem too smooth. For the relative low NYC hotel price, it’s pretty good value.

I only stayed for one night and the room was ok and the staff were not super friendly. The room was tight and I kept hitting my leg on the edge of the bed while going through the 8 inch gap between the bathroom door and the bed. Also, the AC only went down to 65 degrees and it was hot overnight while sleeping. I left my laptop in the room called to ask the front desk about it and no one answered nor did I get a call back after leaving a message.
